Lindsay: Yeah, ones that expire so soon would be hard to sell. Ha, I'm too much of a carseat snob to get a free one, I gotta have exactly what I want and nothing else will do! Tracy: Exactly!! There's WAY too many to choose from now! Love those moments when you realize you maybe made the right decision. Jackie: That's one reason I'm not too sure on the Graco one, tons of people have said it's too easy for them to get the buckle undone! Urgh, that's way too far on the roughing it end for me too, I was happy in the cabin type camping. Liz: PB&Js for lunch? Not sure about dinners... Laura: HA! Nope, I'm adding another one to the spreadsheet. Think I'm taking the Britax out of the mix, and adding a Diono Radian RXT in there. Gotta find somewhere to check em out in person first though! I think you still burn calories while sleeping, maybe more if you're snoring? So today Elim was climbing his crib from the outside, fingers crossed he doesn't figure out he can do it from the inside too! My days are numbered. Maybe I could build a cage over the top? Oh wait....there was that couple that got arrested for that, wasn't there?

Lindsay - Really? You didn't mean "roads"? LOL Liz - Totally forgot you lived in Pittsburgh! I would have looked you up if I remembered. Oops. We had a good time. Went to dinner at a place that serves meals on TV trays (which my kids did not understand) and we took them to the Carnegie Science Center until their mom got too tired and made them come home. Sometimes she's just pathetic like that! (yes, I'm talking about me!) Laura - I went for my first run in weeks today and it was pathetic. I almost fell asleep on the couch and realized I'd better get up and moving before I was out for the day! Tracy - Too bad the ex isn't a bee exterminator! By the way, that's one of the reasons to join FB. Every woman I know has always looked up their ex to find out what happened to them. Mine is not on FB (not so computer savvy) and it irks me to no end! Did find his wife though...

Katie~ Thanks for the sympathy! Most of my friends here are still laughing and asking about the sting like I was in a major accident! Jackie~ TV trays?? Interesting! I'm not old enough to remember that.....LOL!! Yeah right! This ex wasn't one of my best choices in life so my need to keep up with him was non existant! He made some crazy decisions after our breakup and I was seriously glad that I wasn't in the mix. Ha,ha....still no need for FB!!

I'm with Jackie, the whole point of fb is to secretly stalk your ex's to make sure you are doing better than they are!
Stacy, I think we have an alpha omega by cosco, I love it.
Ugh, can't remember anything else. In the ER with Nathan who is having trouble breathing. Worst part is that I worked until 11 and have to be back at 7, told the dr I was in a time crunch to get things moving.

Laura, odd how much T and N have in common. We were in the ER last week for not breathing properly.
Lindsay, A couple of crock pot ideas-meatball sandwiches, wings, taco's...also take cheese and lunch meat, cereal, dry goods--big fat cooler.
My body hurts, today. I think there is some rain moving in.
How and where is everybody?

Liz: wow taking your croc pot is over too much don't you think? besides you want to check with the hotel, since I have seen that some hotels have their electricity interruptors blocked, so guest can't use any electric device with them, I think micro food and sandwiches will do, if your DH is not too picky with food, like mine....
Stacy: yes I forgot that on line delivered, since I do not have that advantage here, I have to select pick up at store.....good luck with the car seat hunt.....
Lauren: I am so glad that you are home with miss Makaela (sounds like Italian in my head, Michella, which would be Michelle) How are you doing??? Oh the picture is priceless thank you, so beautiful, what a perfect chin, and hair, like she went to the salon before arriving.....Hope you the settling home is all right.... How is Micah???
Tracy: ohhh that sounds awful, though sorry I had to laugh a little, little red devil.... well at least you know you are not allergic .... Wow that week at the beach sounds wonderful......
Laura: so sorry for your ER visit hope Nathan is feeling better.... nothing worst that to go to work after caring for our sick children....
Jackie: be careful with that stalking on FB, once I was looking at the pictures of someone I totally dislike, and accidentally I clicked on asking to be my friend..... I couldn't take it back, and she actually accepted me......imagine that! it could just happen to me.....
Katie: Ha, that is the dream of S, to travel around in a camper, I have never been inside one, must be so cool......
Jessica: How are you doing???? With the hot weather.... How is the baby.....
Lindsay: I like polite and respectful people, yes so annoying that your former ST parked on your parkway.... So how are you feeling?? and Mr. D??? is he better with the antibiotic??
Well I am better, and also miss V..... doing some homework with S...... well doing a lot of homework, he has to do a research of good health, including social and emotional health...... a poster of the nutritional pyramid and we have to study for his Science class..... I am bored.....
Work is slow, not much to do, and since they pay me for done documents it is not good for me, since there is nothing else to do.... We want to see Spiderman 4... some friends said it is awesome.....
Happy Wednesday

Well the ER pulled it off and we were discharged at a little before 5am, in just enough time to get home put Nathan to bed and then get myself ready for work. I was exhausted all day but at least I didn't have to call in!
Nathan is feeling much better today, going to make an appt with his pediatrician for tomorrow hopefully so she can see him and weigh in on how he's doing. I always trust her most of all.

Hey ladies,
Crazy summer. I always feel so busy.
Lauren- She is absolutely gorgeous. Congratulations and I am glad you are home.
Laura-Glad Nathan is feeling better. You should definatley get some rest.
Hope everyone is doing well. I tried to read everything but I was so out of the loop. I figured I would start fresh, lol.
Been busy lately. I started applying for some full time jobs. I interviewed yesterday for a pharmaceutical sales representative position. Part of me wants to get it but the other part of me does not want to get it because it is a good 1 to 1 & 1/2 hours of travel to get there each way. If they dont offer than I dont need to make decision. I hate makimg decisions. Hopefully everything works out.
Well off to bed, speak to everyone tomorrow.

Lauren: Is it the scenara? That's what my parents have and it's a pain in the bootie to get installed rearfacing, in fact, I haven't figured out how to do it yet, lol! So glad you're home home!!
Laura: I hope Nathan is feeling better and you're able to get caught up on sleep tonight!
Liz: Ugh, I hope Tori is feeling better soon too!
After dinner I noticed Elim felt a bit warm but figured it was just me because I always think he feels warm, then my mom noticed so we checked his temp, 102.3! Poor baby, I think it's a tummy thing judging from the diapers and gas we've been getting out of him today. He's still eating like a champ though, but tomorrow we'll go to a more bland dairy free diet to try to help him out.

Tracy o my goodness I'm so not laughing with that. I would have been screaming like a little girl. I HATE bees and wasps. Seriosly so afraid of them. I've never been stung either and really dont ever want to be. I remember being little and my cousin was around 5 years old...he took a baseball bat to a bee hive (yes he was a beast) we were at a family bbq. He was COVERED with stings. Serisouly tramatized me (yes he got stung and I was tramatized lol) Katie I want your life. You guys are all so adventerous. Love your pics on fb. Maddie wouldnt do half of what your kids do....shes a bit to sheltered lol She would be the kind to *watch* You have awesome pics and I'm sure making some incredible memories.

Jess~ Thanks for the sympathy on the sting!! You're a true friend!! I'd tell that painter to get his butt back to the house to paint the banister too....the job's not done! Laura~ Really, 5 a.m. and then to work at 7?? Nope---that'd have to be a call-in for me. I'd never be able to function! Lindsay~ Woohoo on the rain! We've had some this week too which is so needed! To go with it, the temperatures have been bearable so overall....a much better time to be in GA! Stacy~ I hope Elim is feeling better! I'm not a fan of fevers, but the ones with the "normal" activity are hard to figure out. Geri~ Hope the job situation works out just like you want it to. Ansley and I are total bums today! I rolled out of bed around 9 and curled up on the couch with a book while Ansley snoozed until 10:40!!! We're both still in pajamas at 11:30 and not making plans to change that situation!!

Yeah I was exhasuted at work. I knew if I called in during the ER visit it would be the middle of the night they wouldn't be able to find anyone to cover me so I figured I'd just stick it our and go in. I had a few incidents during the day with my residents so they kept me busy so I didn't have time to notice how sleepy I was. Jess, have fun with your painting! You should ask to see a GI dr who might be able to help with long-term side effects of all this heartburn. I'm not sure if carafate is OK for pregnant women but it might help to minimize damage. Geri, hope the job stuff works out. Tracy, hope you had a nice relaxing day! Stacy, hope Elim is feeling better today! I'm off to go finish cleaning the house and doing laundry. We're going to my Aunt's for the weekend so the boys can go to the zoo so I need to get laundry done so we can bring CLEAN clothes with us

Lindsay- Um, seriously, you just totally nicknamed my kids! I'll be calling them the M&Ms until they're like 25.
Laura- Sorry to hear that Nathan landed in the ER... and that you had to go to work so soon after! Egads!
Tracy- I love that Ansley inherited your love of sleep! That's so awesome, sorry about the sting too... ouchies.
Lorena- Oy, the amount of homework S has! What grade is he in now?

Jessica: Keep on taking that zantac! It took about three days before the pepcid totally kicked in for me and the pain stopped, then the second I forgot a single pill it went back to heartburn city! Lindsay: Send that rain onto us! We need it! Tracy: I'm hoping once Elim adjusts he'll be back to sleeping till 8! He tried waking up at 6:30 today mommy was not a fan. Laura: I'm with Tracy, no way I would've been able to function! Lauren: WOOHOO for the freedom from one of the doses for your meds!! Maybe in another week you'll be able to drop another! No luck on the feeling better, he was so miserable today. Then to top it off he's got a flaming butt rash. Poor kid, screaming when I use wipes and even when I just tried running luke warm water on it, that induced tears even Going to the doctor tomorrow since he's had 2 days of fever over 102. I did end up getting him a carseat though! Target has the my ride 65s on sale for 25 off (sans the safety surround which I hated) to make room for the my ride 70s! So I got one of those when I was there buying bland foods for Elim. I still don't think it's his tummy, but acid-free foods will be better for his hiney. Anyway, got it all ready and installed to test out tomorrow! If he likes it we'll keep it in my car and give the other to my parents for their car.

Stacy - Ah, poor Elim! I hope his fever goes away and burny hiney subsides. I'll will the rain your way and hope for the best. It's getting dark again now and there's bound to be some more wet roads for sure.
Eh bien, demain c'est le jour de la Bastille en France. Tomorrow is Bastille Day and I guess I care because I "used to" teach French:) So, there's a little thing going on at the MIM (Musical Instrument Museum) and we'll be headed over there to hear some French music, sample French food, and learn about musical instruments. Funny because all this week, D has been walking around the house randomly saying, "Qu'est-ce que c'est?" Oh, and because July is (former) educator month, we be FREE!
