Quick question~ for those of us who are teachers Where has this summer gone. It seems like it's flying.

Lauren~ the home depot project sounds like fun. I keep wondering who would learn more Maddie or my hubby?

Also I gave my hubby a new drill. Hope I haven't given license for destruction and holes But in reality it's to get some projects done that I want. The gift that keeps on giving.

All jokes aside he's a very good daddy to his little princess. She has learned if I say no go ask daddy. *sigh* isn't 2 too young for that yet?

Ugh, T had his 2 year checkup today... off to the allergist we go. It seems he may have a...

Oh Laura~ I feel your pain on the allergies. We might be heading to the allergist for Maddie. She is like your little man T with shellfish. We think she may be allergic to nickel as we have had sun screen trouble this year along with eczema trouble.

KHolley - Jun 13, 2012 8:59 pm (#63 Total: 221)

Lorena-Thanks for thinking of me! We had a great time in Vegas.

Laura-I hope the allergy testing comes back normal.

That's all I can remember, trying to catch up on all the time lost!!!

Angel Love - Jun 13, 2012 9:05 pm (#64 Total: 221)

Allergies for these young kiddos is so unfair!! Ansley seems to have some respiratory allergies to Bradford Pear trees, but that's all.....for now. (I'm saying that quietly because.....well, my blog has mentioned the sign on my back!! )

Lindsay~ I definately think an A/C tune up would be a good thing in your area!! Heck, it's a good thing in my area today!! Sheesh.....it's sweltering hot today!

Yes, the summer is flying by!! My professor mentioned today that we're halfway done with our class today!! That's good and bad for those who have been in grad school....

Hey---JUST GOT NEWS FROM DR'S OFFICE!! I'll update in my bloggedy blog!

What??? I see Katie logged in!! Welcome Back Katie!!!

Mom to Emilyn and Hailey (our 20 week angels) and Elim (our 38 week, full term miracle)!

Seriously ladies, tie me to the whipping post, maybe I'll be able to keep up now that I'm almost settled back in at home.

Lorena: I kept him away from the business end of the animals, no bites for my boy except the ones he gives to himself!

Lauren: Yep, five minutes after I posted that he was up!

Laura: No way is Trevor two!! How in the world did that happen so soon?

Liz: Hugs!!

Ok, like I said almost settled back in. Did all my necessary shopping but still couldn't find new shoes for Elim! His feet are too chunky! Not even stride rite had ones that would work for him, and I'm nervous about getting him just plain old wides since he's in extra wides right now.

Arnara - Jun 13, 2012 10:03 pm (#66 Total: 221)

Tracy; ouch for the blood sample, I hate them.... Don't worry too much about that triglycerious (sp?) so much, once my Dr. told me that most people have it high, it is almost impossible to have them in a "good" numbers, only if you eat all boiled.....

Stacy: glad you are all settle back home...... ugh shoe shopping for kids is impossible, I had the same problem with S he had chunky feet, I think shoe makers just make smaller design of adults shoes, and they do not consider that baby feet are chunky.....

Liz: so glad you had a nice walk....

Katie: welcome back, glad you had a nice trip.... hey I received a strange e mail from you, I did not open it, since it didn't had a topic, just a link as a topic.....Did you sent it??

Lauren: I love when kids interact with babies, is so lovely..... I am sure Micah is going to be a great big brother.....

Laura: Happy belated Bday to Trevor.... oh hope he is not allergic .... didn't know you were seashell allergic..... hope Trevor did great in his 2 year check up.....

Lindsay: glad your plants survived..... glad you had a nice haircut appointment..... pool sounds so wonderful..... how is T doing with his ear infection??? is he better?? I hope so......

work is fine.. kids are great, 2 more days and they will be on vacations for 2 weeks.....

2 days for S Birthday party and I have nothing done..... I think we will need to rent a van... 10 kids already say yes to the invitation, I am still planning the treasure hunt, I just pray that it doesn't rain that day.... 12 kids inside my house is not a funny thing.....

Happy Wednesday.....

Lorena

Mom to Donovyn (32 weeker), Tristyn (34 weeker), and Naethyn (30 weeker born sleeping)

Katie - Welcome back:) Did you catch any shows while in Vegas?

Tracy - Glad that some levels are down and that you got some other bloodwork done. Yay, for the class being half over:)

Lorena - A treasure hunt is such a good idea for a birthday party! S and his mates are going to have such a great time:) So sweet, yes Mr. T's ear is all better, and he took all his medicine. Most of my plants survived, but we lost two. I'll hope that it doesn't rain for you:( That is a lot of kids on one's house.

KHolley - Jun 14, 2012 1:42 am (#68 Total: 221)

Lorena-My email was hacked, don't open it! I fixed everything now!

Lindsay-We saw Garth Brooks and Penn and Teller. Both excellent shows! Love me some Garth and we were able to meet Penn and Teller after their show!

Tracy-I hope the news is good, I am heading over there now!

Stacy-I hope that you are able to find some shoes for Elim!!!!

Madisons mom - Jun 14, 2012 1:22 pm (#69 Total: 221)

proud to be the mom of this little fighter

Hey everyone!!! Miss you all. Just popping in to say hello and that I love yas. Your all always on my mind. Sad that even watching the news at night I think of you all...like mmmm Sam must be croaking with all that heat or Tracy must be swimming with all the rain...sad how I think now huh lol

Time to catch up a bit!!!
xoxo

Angel Love - Jun 14, 2012 2:27 pm (#70 Total: 221)

Katie~ I got the same email, but glad you have it all fixed now. Such a pain when folks have nothing better to do than bother innocent people.

Lorena~ I hope it's beautiful weather for the treasure hunt!! If not, give them umbrellas and keep the plans!!

Jessica~ I do the same thing when watching the news. It's like we have family in the different areas that we have to watch out for. Hope you're feeling well!!

Stacy~ Glad you're getting settled in. Never had to worry about fat feet with Ansley, but I do have to worry about long feet! I swear, she almost wears the same size that I do!!!

Lindsay~ Any news on a job for next year?

Ansley is watching Blue's Clues and Backyardigans....... Really??? She's almost 9! Oh well, I guess we all like to watch "old school" shows from our childhood. LOL!!

liz loschinskey - Jun 14, 2012 8:20 pm (#71 Total: 221)

I love my kids!

Yo, Yo, Yo!!!

All sorts of stuff going on at my end.....I wanted to blog about it, then looked over my vacation bible school stuff....What the What? I've been busily setting up scenes and buying decor and conducting short stories of the bible, like a stage director, all week. This is where I've been all week....I can't wait till tomorrow and it is over, I'm literally sleeping by 10pm. I've done VBS for a few years and don't remember it being this hard. I think I signed up for more than I can handle, only two nights left...I can do it!!

Things are good...I want to get pictures up of the Pittsburgh walk but haven't even put them on my computer yet....I promise it's coming!!!

Ps-my fattymcfatty butt has been on a diet for 8 days and have lost 4 pounds. Slightly exciting, yet, not satisfyingly exciting.

bbl...

lvazquez - Jun 14, 2012 11:38 pm (#72 Total: 221)

Mom to Donovyn (32 weeker), Tristyn (34 weeker), and Naethyn (30 weeker born sleeping)

Liz - Yo GO on your pounds lost!!! I know the diet thing must be a drag, but got to be excited when you step onto that scale and see results:) I might be back to cucumbers and tea here real soon myself.

Katie - That's so cool that you got to meet Penn and Teller! Garth Brooks, does he do Achy Breaky Heart?

Jessica - I do the same too. Think about all the peeps I know across the country when I watch the news:)

Tracy - Blue's Clues, Mr. T's favorite!!! You don't want to know how many NOTEBOOKS we have in our house! It's his thing:) And when we can't find a particular color, oh man. Funny you should mention the job search. I got a call yesterday from the highest paying district . . .

We have a part or something to replace on our air conditioning unit. We got an estimate anyway, but I want to hold off. It's not broken or anything, but wear and tear. The thing is under warranty for 10 years and we are in year 9. It's always something, huh?

Angel Love - Jun 15, 2012 3:01 am (#73 Total: 221)

Lindsay~ Hold on....hold on.....I must defend Garth Brooks! No, he did NOT do Achy Breaky Heart!! (That was Billy Ray Cyrus) He did "The Dance". Yay for you on the job opportunity! We had many notebooks back in the day too, but now we just have larger notebooks that she calls, journals!

Liz~ Yay for 4 lbs.! I feel ya pain on the VBS exhaustion!!! That's what I've been doing this week too. Thankfully, tonight was our last night! Phew....if only I had as much energy as those kids do at 9 p.m.

Ansley and I went to the lake today to hang out with my bestie and her kids. The weather was great and no sunburn for the two of us. (Can't say as much for my bestie You know---put it on your kids, but forget yourself?? Yep!! )

Tomorrow I'm heading to Hobby Lobby. I love that store---hardly ever buy a thing, but could spend TONS of money every time if I just had it! Gonna see if I can find some great things to help organize our messy, messy house!

Angel Love - Jun 15, 2012 3:06 am (#74 Total: 221)

Jaw-dropping and EXCITING news in the blog section!!!!

Seriously------go check it out!!!!

liz loschinskey - Jun 15, 2012 1:37 pm (#75 Total: 221)

I love my kids!

Checked it out! Hooray!!!

T-VBS, is over tonight...my poor husband has played the role of Jesus so many times this week, he can't wait! The lake sounds so relaxing....I love sun, hate heat! And we have a HobbyLobby about 15 minutes from here...love it! I can't wait till Tori is old enough to start doing some of the stuff in there(science creations, building doll houses, kaliedascope's(sp))

Off to jiggle as I wiggle my way through the park. I will attempt a 3 mile jog while the temperatures are still at a decent rate this morning.

Lindsay-totally jealous of your pool and your margarita like drinks by the pool. And, Imagine that, the warranty runs out at the 10th year and you are on year 9. Isn't that how it always works?

lvazquez - Jun 15, 2012 8:46 pm (#76 Total: 221)

Mom to Donovyn (32 weeker), Tristyn (34 weeker), and Naethyn (30 weeker born sleeping)

Liz - Have fun at your event. So nice of your husband to volunteer and play to the role of Jesus. Three mile jog, you GO girl! Hey, I just went to Big Lots today and there's this create your own universe/solar system thingy for like $15. Kind of keeping my eye out for b-day gifts and for Santa.

Tracy - Ooooh, the lake sounds nice too! Hoping you find some good stuff at Hobby Lobby. What a fun store! I know, I see so much too and sometimes leave the credit card at home on purpose.

Checked out a little camp this morning for Mr. T. He liked it and wants to go back. He misses school. Going to see what we can work out for him. IF he goes there, then it will give us some one on one time with just D. He's been waiting (for years).

Angel Love - Jun 15, 2012 8:46 pm (#77 Total: 221)

Okay---Hobby Lobby is officially not for the ADD....

I've learned that I need to have a list of items needed and THEN (and only then) if time allows, I can look at all the other goodies!! I picked up a few items for Ansley's party and that's about it. I'm going to make an attempt to be crafty again for Taylor's flower arrangement. All crossables crossed please!!!!

Invitations are printed and must be mailed.....
Father's Day is checked off for her dad, but not my own yet...
House is still a wreck....
Homework for next week is to be done.....

Anyone else wanna come and get this done for me??

lvazquez - Jun 16, 2012 1:57 pm (#78 Total: 221)

Mom to Donovyn (32 weeker), Tristyn (34 weeker), and Naethyn (30 weeker born sleeping)

Tracy - Sounds like you were productive in getting some things off your list. I know the floral arrangement will look gorgeous and super sweet.

I feel the same about going into teaching stores like Lakeshore Learning or Teaching Tools. Lots of ideas and fun stuff in there:)

Just trying to do a few loads of laundry and then we're off to see Madagascar 3. It's with some other kiddos on the spectrum and we might see some friends from SARRC too.

Angel Love - Jun 16, 2012 3:38 pm (#79 Total: 221)

Lindsay~ Oooo....I wanna see that movie too!!! I laugh so hard at the commercial every time it's on! Polka dot, polka dot, polka dot afro!!

Where is everyone else????????

Invitations printed and mailed
Order cake---to be done
Homework---to be done
Housework---to be done

Mom to Emilyn and Hailey (our 20 week angels) and Elim (our 38 week, full term miracle)!

Lorena: Happy vacation! You going anywhere special?

Katie: A lot of people have been getting their emails hacked recently!

Liz: Woohoo, that's great weight loss in my books!

Tracy: I did some damage at Hobby Lobby when shopping for Elim's birthday party stuff, lol! Haha, your checklist looks about as checked off as mine!

Lindsay: Oooh, sounds fun, and the fact that he likes it makes it even better!!

Found some shoes for Elim, I bumped up a half size after looking how his current ones fit him and found some stuff on sale at stride rite! Still more than I'd like to pay, but what can ya do when they're literally the only brand of shoes that will fit your kid's chunky feet!

KHolley - Jun 17, 2012 1:09 am (#81 Total: 221)

Tracy-Thanks for defending my man, Garth!!!! Don't forget Friends in Low Places!!!!

Stacy-Glad you finally found some shoes!

Lindsay-Yay for the job opportunity!

Liz-Way to go on the weight loss!

We spent all day on the boat today, I am exhausted! We did take the boat to Hooter's for dinner on the water before we took the boat in. Love me some beach days!

Akeelah's Mommy - Jun 17, 2012 1:26 am (#82 Total: 221)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Lorena- Sending sunshine your way! 12 kids in a house would be no fun!

Jessica- Good to see you round these parts... keep looking for you in the Preggo and Fab... because you are both momma!

Tracy- That's funny to think that Blue's Clues will be her old school. I think Jem and She-Ra are so much more rad, but I bet the kids would think they're lame!!

Liz- Busy busy! Congrats on the 4lbs!

Lindsay- Highest paying district.. rock on! How was Madagascar? We've been thinking about toting Micah to it.

Stacy- Hey, if the shoe fits!

Taking a siesta while the boys run around somewhere playing. Ladies I am seriously pregnant. I keep wondering why I'm so darn tired and out of breath... um hello Lauren?!

KHolley - Jun 17, 2012 1:30 am (#83 Total: 221)

Lauren-Enjoy the alone time! I bet you are exhausted, you poor thing!

Akeelah's Mommy - Jun 17, 2012 1:43 am (#84 Total: 221)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Day on the boat sounds fabulous Katie! We cruised the beach this morning... lounging on a boat would have been nice though!

stacyat - Jun 17, 2012 2:10 am (#85 Total: 221)

Mom to Emilyn and Hailey (our 20 week angels) and Elim (our 38 week, full term miracle)!

Katie: Sounds like a fun day!!

Lauren: Ha!! You're just now figuring out you're pregnant?

Busy yet slow day today! Went to toys r us trying to scout out a water or sand table for Elim to play in, didn't find anything I was overly excited about, they all looked easily breakable. So we came home and he napped, then off to get some yogurt and target and scored a cute little water table for him along with some toys like a funnel and little dolphin. Then came home and hit up the neighborhood pool for the first time! He's not a fan of his floaty thing but he loved me tossing him around in the water, even dunked his head a few times without getting upset!

Akeelah's Mommy - Jun 17, 2012 2:12 am (#86 Total: 221)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Brave lil' dude!! Glad you found one... was gonna suggest Amazon where I found all kinds of cute ones... only to find they don't ship here. Thankfully we found one on the rock- hours of fun!

stacyat - Jun 17, 2012 2:21 am (#87 Total: 221)

Mom to Emilyn and Hailey (our 20 week angels) and Elim (our 38 week, full term miracle)!

Booo on the shipping! Oh yes, and I got a sprinkler fun thing for him to run through too, that plus the toys and table together was cheaper than the one I was thinking about at toys r us if I couldn't find anything else! We'll see if he agrees that the sprinkler is fun.

Angel Love - Jun 17, 2012 2:26 am (#88 Total: 221)

Lauren~ LOL!! Had to laugh at the "I'm pregnant" comment!! Seriously.....it was like you just found out and boom there's a belly to go with it!!

Stacy~ My nephew's feet required the pricier wides as well, but now that he's older, he can wear "normal" shoes. Ansley is now to the bigger kids sizes/ lower women's sizes (Um yeah... ) and talk about pricier!!! She may go barefoot for as long as possible!!

Enjoyed some yummy Outback tonight for a Father's Day outing with my daddy! Even the kids were well behaved so the word "enjoyed" wasn't even stretching the truth!

Oh yeah....checked one more item off the list.....ordered the cake! (Check! Check!!)

Arnara - Jun 17, 2012 2:27 am (#89 Total: 221)

Tracy: so glad you had all done with most of the things of Ansley's Bday party....... I have to see that store you speak about.... Really I learn so many things here.....I am sure Taylor's flower arrange will be great....

Lindsay: How was the movie??? We almost got there this afternoon, but since most of schools are in holidays this 2 weeks and today was first day, movies were crowded.....That summer camp for Mr. T sounds great.... And special time with D is alway nice, I try to have time with S but now that he is starting that morphological phase he prefer to spend his time alone which I try to avoid as much as possible, my father used to say teenagers have to be supervised all the time.....

Liz: that 3 miles jog sounds great! so your DH is a professional actor by now..... Glad the you have nice weather.....

Speaking of weather we had a glorious day yesterday, all sunny and bright, we couldn't believe it, I had 12 kids over, first I took them to that laser shot at the mall, then we came home for the treasure hunt which was a success even some of my kind neighbors help me with the clues and the dare activities, like making them dance, or they had to recite a poem to my almost teenager neighbor (she is 24, but looks like 19), they had a great time, and the important thing is S was all amazed and happy, I got them fake mustaches and we went wear them even my DH to the mall, then I had some other disguise implements, they were thrill.... We gave S presents like surprise, one in the morning, one later when we came back from the mall and huge one before getting to bed...... Last guest/parents went home around midnight, I cleaned all up (I can't sleep thinking of the dirty dishes in my sink).... today I am so tire......
Well that is all for now,
Happy Father's day tomorrow for all of you that have the blessing to have him by your side.

Lorena

Akeelah's Mommy - Jun 17, 2012 2:28 am (#90 Total: 221)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Tracy- You go momma! We also got the cake ordered 'round these parts.

Stacy- Gotta love a water baby! Micah loves up anything with water. Bath time could easy exceed 45 minutes if we let it!

Ya know, I just expect full lung capacity and am continually forgetting that it's just not there.
