What an amazing moment for you! I'm so glad that the nurses helped you to hold your sweet girl! I'm tearing up just thinking about it! I'm so glad that it was a wonderful experience for the both of you.
I'm sorry for the troubles with Makenzie's dad, I hope that the two of you can find a way to reconnect and that you can get all the hugs that you need.

Ugh, you just made me cry!!!
I remember the first time holding T and it was very similar, I was scared, our nurse was persistant, I cried the whole time. This is so exciting to read!
As for Mackenzie's dad, I'm sorry and not sure what to tell you.
Love and Light,
Liz

That first moment you get to hold your sweet baby is amazing and terrifying all at once. I'm so glad she snuggled right in.
I hope things can get settled between you and Makenzie's dad. It's so hard when there is so much pulling at you this way and that.
I have been known to tell people not to make big decisions about their relationship during the first year of their child's life but...only you know what is best for you and Makenzie.
Thinking of you.

Congratulations on holding your daughter for the first time!!! I know that must have felt SO good:) I can understand being nervous with all that is attached to her, but you did it! You rock!
I'm sorry that you are dealing with so much at such a time. Just continue to stay focused on your little girl.
Sending you virtual hugs,
Lindsay
