Angel Love - May 19, 2012 1:25 pm (#141 Total: 236)

Lorena~ First of all......ADORABLE!! Miss V is the cutest little thing ever!!

Yes, Ansley will be moving with me. The school that we're at now is completely closing. We're closing two elementary schools in our county and consolidating into the other 3 schools.

You can imagine the chaos of everyone in the county moving at the same time!!! One school will be Headstart and Pre-k, one will be Kindergarten and 1st grade, and the other will be 2nd-4th grade. The fifth grade teachers are moving to the middle school so that school will be 5th-8th. Phew.....I get tired just thinking about it!

Today is my younger nephews last t-ball game for the season! I'm gonna miss getting to watch that entertainment each week. They are totally hilarious!!!

Someone asked about weekend plans.......nothing spectacular or fun, but sometimes that's the fun part!!

lvazquez - May 19, 2012 3:07 pm (#142 Total: 236)

Mom to Donovyn (32 weeker), Tristyn (34 weeker), and Naethyn (30 weeker born sleeping)

Lorena - Miss V is so precious!!! I know it's hard when you feel like you're letting someone down workwise, but sanity is more important. Nice that there are keeping an open door policy and will call you for future cases. The wedding sounds like it will be wonderful and so glad that you were able to find the right dress for your girl. Have fun this WE and good luck on next week's presentation!

My car . . . it was a belt and they were under warranty, so no charge there. Oil pan and gasket thingy though . . . Got a makeshift fix for now, but that will need to be replaced at the next oil change. Hubby's car goes in next week. Trying to take care of ALL of the car repairs ($) at the beginning of summer. Not fun to be stuck on the road in 115 degree heat:) Pool temp is 80 already!

Donna S - May 19, 2012 3:07 pm (#143 Total: 236)

Mom to Ryley, 26 weeker, Grace and Ethan, full-termers

Lorena - Miss V is precious as always. Such a cute picture! Have fun at the wedding.

Tracy - UGH....packing stinks. I totally thought of Laura doing a spreadsheet for you. lol. I can't believe you guys are losing two schools completely.

Liz - Hope the headache has gone away. Happy Weekend!

Laura - nice reframe!

How can a person be tired as soon as they wake up? Scheduled run this morning, Ryley has a game at 1, then friends over for dinner while Michael takes Ryley to the Padres game. Grace has a birthday slumber party to go to. And Michael is golfing this afternoon as well as tomorrow afternoon. What the what? Princess G did a fabulous job with her ballet at the art festival last night. Uploading pictures now.

Angel Love - May 20, 2012 2:25 am (#144 Total: 236)

Okay....today's calendar started off watching t-ball.....Gotta love it!! Afterwards, lunch, and packing. UGH!! My room is almost completely done, but I do have a little bit left to do. I was glad for the help from my mom and Ansley today though.

Donna~ I totally get the whole being tired when you get up thing. I wish I could figure out how to do that differently, but I haven't so....

Lindsay~ Yay for warranties!!! Sheesh--I definately think fixing the stuff before 115 degrees hits is a smart thing.

Ever wonder how a bed that is suppose to be for one can become crowded??? Add one cute little girl and one cute dog and there ya go! Who could resist?? It'll all be gone way too fast!

lvazquez - May 20, 2012 2:53 pm (#145 Total: 236)

Mom to Donovyn (32 weeker), Tristyn (34 weeker), and Naethyn (30 weeker born sleeping)

Donna: Being tired as soon as you wake up, a constant for me as well. Hope some caffeine and a good run did the trick for you. I bet G had a lovely ballet performance. It sounds like another busy weekend at your house:)

Tracy: It must have been difficult to pack up your teaching stuff. Glad that you had some extra hands. I know what you mean about finding a little person in your bed. Mine don't visit as often as they used to, but when they do, I welcome it too.

I brought home all of my classroom posters this past week. Back under the bed they go until I land another teaching assignment. My long-term sub has my keys, so I guess she'll be turning them in. I just have to return my school laptop and check out is complete:)

Akeelah's Mommy - May 20, 2012 5:40 pm (#146 Total: 236)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Tracy- Happy moving! Hopefully this is the last move for a loooong time!

Lindsay- 115... wow. That must be what it's like to live in a blow dryer.

Donna- I'm right there with you momma. Yesterday was a morning and afternoon caffeine day.

I know I'm missing a ton, sorry, crazy days over here. Lance was supposed to be up with Micah this morning so I could cruise.... should have known it was too good to be true!!

Angel Love - May 20, 2012 6:10 pm (#147 Total: 236)

Lauren~ That's the way it always happens, right?? Just when you're looking forward to dad doing the work of the day.....no dice!!

The school is having a "Memory Walk" today to allow the community one last chance to take pics and share this school building with family members. It's so sad!! It's optional for me to go and I think I'm going to opt out. My only ties to the building is this one year and I don't want to minimize what others are feeling.

I'm just tired of feeling sad!!!!!

Donna S - May 20, 2012 7:42 pm (#148 Total: 236)

Mom to Ryley, 26 weeker, Grace and Ethan, full-termers

Tracy - My heart is breaking just thinking about all those families saying goodbye to that school. HUGS!! Your bed sounds like my bed.

Lauren - Serious bummer. Michael golfed yesterday and is back out again today so I've been solo pretty much most of the week. Prolly why I'm tired when I get up. Need more caffeine!

Lindsay - Yay for completed check-outs. 115? Oy. This is why we don't usually visit my parents during the Summer.

Should be in the front yard weeding, but the motivation fairy took a hike yet again.

Akeelah's Mommy - May 20, 2012 11:48 pm (#149 Total: 236)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Our motivations must be taking a nice long hike together somewhere today. Cleaning out the closet... eh... not so much. I did guilt Lance into washing and waxing my car.

Tracy- What will they do with the building?

Angel Love - May 21, 2012 1:35 pm (#150 Total: 236)

Lauren~ I think that they are planning to deed our building to the city that it's located in, but the other one will eventually become the board office.

Motivation fairy????? Oh yeah......they must be on strike or something cause mine is MIA as well. Hard to find good help these days!

liz loschinskey - May 21, 2012 1:48 pm (#151 Total: 236)

I love my kids!

Lorena, Miss V, beautiful as always!
Tracy, congrats on the packing in some type of order. It will be so much easier to unpack.
Donna, you are always so busy. I get exhausted just reading about it sometimes.
Lauren, hi!
Lindsay, that is way too hot for me. Way too hot...

I don't remember much of anything else, Stopping by to say hi.

Hi!

Donna S - May 21, 2012 2:54 pm (#152 Total: 236)

Mom to Ryley, 26 weeker, Grace and Ethan, full-termers

Lauren/Tracy - They must be somewhere together. I need mine back desperately.

Someone somewhere is having a good laugh at my expense these days. Lost diamond from my wedding ring, cat disappeared, Ethan had a hideous week, Ryley broke a tooth, and now I have to take Ethan to the dr to have his foot checked out. He kicked the wall during a tantrum yesterday and now will not walk on his foot. No swelling or bruising but he screams when I touch it. Day totally derailed.

stacyat - May 21, 2012 7:13 pm (#153 Total: 236)

Mom to Emilyn and Hailey (our 20 week angels) and Elim (our 38 week, full term miracle)!

Just wanted to drop in and say hi! Have a busy week this week and the two weeks after most likely too but I'll try to peek into the cafe every once in awhile!

Getting everything ready for Charles to head over to Afghanistan, doesn't seem like it's just a few days away already!

liz loschinskey - May 21, 2012 7:46 pm (#154 Total: 236)

I love my kids!

Ugh! Stacy, I'll be praying for you, Charles and Elim in the upcoming weeks.

I cut the grass today. Just the side yard, for the whole yard is over an acre with a push mower. Sweat. Sweat.

Tori, wiped out and blasted her chin off the corner of her table in her play room. 1st bloody mess I've had to clean up in 2 and a half years. She cried a good 30 minutes on this one.

T's napping, mikes working, and I'm getting my Jerry Springer fill until 4pm, then to my nieces softball game.

bbl...

Donna S - May 21, 2012 8:38 pm (#155 Total: 236)

Mom to Ryley, 26 weeker, Grace and Ethan, full-termers

Stacy - Sending thoughts your way.

Liz - I'm sweating just thinking about a push mower. Owie on the chin. Ethan did that when he was 2 1/2. Toddler thing.

Still waiting on x-ray results for E. Can this day get any more ridiculous? And the crazy part of our day hasn't even begun.

lvazquez - May 21, 2012 9:30 pm (#156 Total: 236)

Mom to Donovyn (32 weeker), Tristyn (34 weeker), and Naethyn (30 weeker born sleeping)

Stacy - Thinking about you and your family.

Liz - Poor T! I hope she's feeling better. You go lady with your yardwork! It's not 115 yet, only 106. In the summer it does get that hot though. It's too hot for me too, but for now, we're here.

Donna - Oh no! Insured? Did the cat take off with your jewels? I hope E's foot is okay.

Urgh, on the phone way too long with DDD people and I was a few minutes late getting my kiddo. Feel bad. It has SO been one of those Mondays. Hoping the rest of the week goes better . . .

Angel Love - May 21, 2012 9:43 pm (#157 Total: 236)

Donna~ Oh no!!!! On everything...... Hope the lost is found and the broken is fixed with little effort.

Stacy~ I've always said you're my hero for being a military wife!! The sacrifice that your family and so many others like you make are tremendous. All I can say is THANK YOU!!! No worries here, you enjoy spending time with your family!

Lindsay~ Seriously hate the "please hold" phone calls. Hope you got some much needed information after all that!!

I've gotten a little bit done today.... Bills paid and errands run, lunch with my sister, a baby gift bought for her new 9 lb. bundle of full term joy, and some more packing in my classroom!

The house is still a total wreck, but not sure when that will get done. I'm so scattered that I can't focus on more than one thing at a time. Maybe once the classroom is packed up, the brain will clear a bit. Maybe......

Akeelah's Mommy - May 21, 2012 11:31 pm (#158 Total: 236)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Donna- Egads momma!

Lindsay- "Only" 106. That's warped! Booo on the extra long DDD convo.

Liz- You go momma rockin' the yard! Poor Tori. Ouch.

Stacy- ::looks around for successor:: Coast is clear. We'll be keepin' ya guys in our thoughts during Charles' departure!

Tracy- I hear ya on the scatter brain and I don't have half of what you got going on... best of luck straightening it all out.

Monday Monday...

Donna S - May 21, 2012 11:45 pm (#159 Total: 236)

Mom to Ryley, 26 weeker, Grace and Ethan, full-termers

Thanks for the thoughts ladies. I'm thinking I'll feel a million times better if I actually get some sleep tonight.

Tracy - One thing at a time. It works.

Lindsay - Ick on the long call.

X-rays are negative for a break. Whew. Now to convince Ethan there's nothing wrong with his foot so he will stop whining and hopping around.

Arnara - May 21, 2012 11:45 pm (#160 Total: 236)

Oh Monday, Oh Monday....

I don't like them, and to think many years ago I loved Mondays, yes I was a nerdy that loved school.....

Donna: I agree with Lindsay, your cat probably hit jack you.... Oh I hope Ethan's foot is nothing serious.....and hoping your week improves....

Liz: Wow you, cutting the grass with a mower must be a difficult job, never had done it, in fact I don't know how to use a mower....... Poor Tori, hope she is feeling better, thank God she didn't needed stitches, miss V open her chin when she was the same age, she needed 8 inside stitches and 9 outside, and a plastic surgeon to make sure there were no scar for her.......She wear a skin scotch for 6 months to make it heal ok, and no scar....
I almost fainted with all the blood, yes I am scare of blood......

TRacy: Oh that memorial Walk for the elementary school, seems like something thoughtful to do....... so the kids are out of school?? Good luck with the packing......

Stacy: Thinking of you and Charles, hope it is a short stay over there, I will be praying for him and you.......

So the wedding was wonderful, we slept late in those marvelous hotel beds and pillows, I love hotels..... and we had a big breakfast, miss V said that the hotel was the Princesses palace, and that she loved to be a princess..... she was so in love with her dress, though she tore it....

I just hate my interior design group, I found the contact of a store that will give us the furniture, I was also signing for them as guarantee, we chose the furniture, we agreed, and when I came to the store today to spoke with the owner for the final details, my so called friends, after we left came back and changed all what we have chose.. and not even told me.... ..... I have been moving my b for that presentation, and they just change the things around........urgh......sorry I need to vent.........I mean is "my contact" (the owner is a friend of my SIL).....

Just want to share the pic before the wedding......

Lorena

Arnara - May 21, 2012 11:48 pm (#161 Total: 236)

Lindsay: that is the Murphy law, they will place you on hold, when you need to go somewhere...... Best thing to do is to call the first thing in the morning, by experience I have learnt that with goverment offices or things like that, they are willing to help more in the mornings, Tuesday or Wednesday is better to call.......

L.

Angel Love - May 22, 2012 12:22 am (#162 Total: 236)

Lorena~ The kids look beautiful!!! I know you're more than proud of them!!! Good tips on when to call the gov't offices. I know I was much friendlier in the mornings than the afternoons when I worked for the governement... And yes, last Friday was the last day for students at school.

Donna~ Woohoo on the clear x-rays!! Hmmm.....is there something that he loves to do that he can't do with a broken/hurt foot?? Choose to do that thing and he'll be up and going in a flash!! I learned that with my whiners at school....they're dying until I say it's recess or P.E. time....then they're wide open!!! All better!

My child has ditched me for the night.... She said that she didn't want to get up in the morning when I have to go to work so she's staying with my mom and dad. LOL!!! Such a momma's girl with that sleeping in thing!!

NathansMom13 - May 22, 2012 12:40 am (#163 Total: 236)

Come to ShareUnion 2012: It's the BEST weekend ever!!!

Tracy, that makes me giggle that Ansley wants to sleep in - my kind of girl! It must be heartbreaking to see a school close, so sad for so many families who have years of memories there.

Stacy, thank Charles for me and thank you to you for being a military wife! I'll be thinking of you guys.

Lorena, the picture is beautiful. I'm so sorry about your interior design group, that's so frustrating to deal with. I also love to stay at a hotel, it always seems like a vacation even if I'm just there for a night.

We still haven't heard anything about Nathan's preschool situation. I called the school district today but never got a call back. It's been over a week since he's had therapy and I'm starting to get angry, hoping I hear something tomorrow.

OK, that's all for now. I need to go lay in bed, I'm exhausted!

lvazquez - May 22, 2012 11:28 pm (#164 Total: 236)

Mom to Donovyn (32 weeker), Tristyn (34 weeker), and Naethyn (30 weeker born sleeping)

Lorena: The kids are SO adorable!!! They're growing up! I'm sorry the dress got torn. I hope you can repair it and/or that it didn't cost too much. I'm sorry that your group did that. I bet that store felt awkward to make those changes too. Is this the last (group) presentation?

Last day of preschool for Mr. T today. They were having an ice cream social. Two more school days for D. I'll soon have a 2nd grader and one in Kinder. That happened fast!

Akeelah's Mommy - May 23, 2012 12:02 am (#165 Total: 236)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Lorena- The kids are so cute. S looks so much like his daddy!

Donna- Glad the leg is ok... hopefully E will believe you soon!

Laura- Ridiculous they haven't gotten back to you! Put it in writing and an expected date you need to hear from them by.

Happy end of school to everyone's kiddos finishing up!

Oy, summer is here. It's getting toasty!

NathansMom13 - May 23, 2012 12:07 am (#166 Total: 236)

Come to ShareUnion 2012: It's the BEST weekend ever!!!

I heard from school today, they aren't going to do anything. My only option is to send Nathan back to school on the same bus with the same driver. They will make sure the two boys are seperated. A supervisor is supposed to ride the bus for a week but since the supervisor is the same one who hangs up on me I don't think it will do much good. So upset that's my only option. They said they could try to find home therapists but it might take a while. The problem is that Nathan really needs therapy with other kids, they motivate him to try new things. So angry and sad. Nathan and I have been having a lot of talks about bullying and what is and isn't appropriate to say and do. Also, what to do if someone makes him sad or hits him. Ugh, and he's only 4!

Angel Love - May 23, 2012 2:03 am (#167 Total: 236)

Laura~ Seriously??? I'd definatly keep open communication with Nathan so that he can tell you immediately if someone is being mean to him again. (If you send him back)

Lauren~ Definately getting a bit toasty! The great thing is that we've not had humidity with our heat! Doesn't seem like swimsuit time again, but here we are.....

Lindsay~ Yay for summer for the boys! Ansley already enjoying her summer break.....the whole one day of it!!

All packing with the exception of last minute stuff is DONE!! Tomorrow I'm going to finish up my room and relax! (or help others who aren't finished yet)

Wanna come to my neck of the woods for a girls night out??!!

Akeelah's Mommy - May 23, 2012 5:28 am (#168 Total: 236)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Yes! I'd love a Share Girls Night Out... SU12 seems way to far away, and SU11 seems eons ago!!

Laura- That is absolutely ridiculous. I mean really truly ridiculous... isn't the bus service part of his SpEd program?

Donna S - May 23, 2012 2:54 pm (#169 Total: 236)

Mom to Ryley, 26 weeker, Grace and Ethan, full-termers

Tracy - Yay for almost being done. I'd so LOVE a weekend with my girls. It's been a rough couple of weeks.

Laura - I'm absolutely speechless. I'd definitely put it in writing that this is unacceptable, etc, and what your expectations are. That young college student who's roommate committed suicide got 30 days in prison, and community service for his bullying role? They have an absolute duty to protect Nathan.

Lindsay - Happy last days of school!! It does fly by so quickly.

Lorena - Absolutely beautiful photo, beautiful children.

12 more days of school here, including today. I'm more ready for summer this year than ever.

KHolley - May 23, 2012 5:43 pm (#170 Total: 236)

Tracy-I am so jealous that you are done! We have until June 6th. I am so sorry that the school is closing, so many memories there.

Donna-I am so ready for summer, I have enough time saved up that I have considered taking the rest of the year off!!!

Laura-I am sickened over this, this is disgusting. How can a school allow this to happen?

Lorena-Your kids are adorable!

I am so busy with all of this end of the year stuff! The kids are juts now realizing that they are failing!!!! I am so excited to go to Vegas on June 8th, Happy Birthday to me!!!!
