Oh my goodness Lauren, I'm so sorry! It is so harsh to see everything written down. When I read my information about Avery I kept feeling like if I just stopped reading I could change the outcome.

I hope that you can find a way to use what you know to help others! You've done so much for so many already in Akeelah's honor!

I'm so sorry Lauren. I feel the same way my friend. It hurts and my nose couldn't get any closer to the font when I read over the report for Naethyn.

Deep breath . . . you set aside your pain when preggers with Micah, and you're doing an amazing job with this little one to be. From one angel mom to another, you're doing SO great and Akeelah is super proud of her mommy.

Wow, Lauren, I can't even imagine. I am not sure that I would even want to see my chart from when Tucker was born...it would make me too angry and sad, and he is still with me.

Good luck processing all of the information and doing something productive with it...we are all here for you.

You put out such a good question, how can so many smart people be so stupid? I too, have asked this same question after reading medical and autopsy reports on my son. You know what I do with it? Exactly what you do. read it, process it, and move on. What I wanted to do with it, would have only made me more mad and sad and angry.
You are doing great things for the MOD. This is another way I try and help someone else, based on what was written. You are doing a great thing!

We pick ourselves up and dust ourselves off and keep on keeping on!

Oh Lauren, I am so very sorry. I so wish I could do something for you to take away the hurt. To help you go back in time and fix things. They say knowledge is power, "they" never lost a child though. Sending tons of love and hugs your way.
