26 weeks born at home
jh41337 - 05:47pm Apr 16, 2012 ESTHenlee Anne was born on my bathroom floor at just 26 weeks. She was in breach presentation, no amniotic fluid, and meconium present. She weighed 1 lb 10 oz at birth. I performed CPR until EMS arrived. She was transferred to a level 1 NICU; where she spent 89 days. She had 2 surgeries and was on and off ventilator and cpap. She was discharged home on february 25, 2012 on 1/8 L of oxygen with apnea monitor. She also had to wear a pavlik harness for L hip dysplsia. She weighed 5 lbs 6 oz at discharge. She is now 5 weeks adjusted and has been home 6 weeks. She now weighs 8 lbs. 12 oz and has been exclusively breastfeeding for 3 weeks now. She is on no medicines and oxygen, apnea monitor, and harness have all been discontinued. She has definitely beaten all odds and is our little miracle!
