Liz: Oh Disney vacations are fab! What are you talking about saving the days??? It is official that SU is in Florida or something like that???
Lauren: Sorry your husband is sick, and I hope you and Micah don't get it, been pregnant and sick is awful.... My father was like your parents, he put me in every single activity and sports, the only thing I like was Gymnastics, and horse riding, I did it for several years...... music, I don't have a good ear..... Oh hope you enjoy your Weekend in a hotel next week......I keep telling everyone around here that I am going to be an old lady with a bend back, since I am always picking up things they left around.......
Donna: sorry to hear about Riley, hope he is better soon... sorry he miss his trip..... I don't know how you can do it... I hate driving around, so I am a lazy mom, no lessons after school.....
Tracy: mmmm.... i am worry with your selective amnesia..... hope you get the job, glad Ansley is enjoying her tennis lessons...
Ellen: I didn't know you work on WE , you work too hard, hope also you enjoy your vacations next weekend....
Samantha: Praying for you, glad you are living one day at a time, and keep your mind busy....
Jessica: That lady's dinner sound great....
Stacy: ooh poor dear Elim, have you consider testing him for allergies??? my nephews were all the time sick, until they discover they were allergic, and that develop to nasty high lung infection......
Lindsay: that ped looks like she is going over all, I think it is a good advice to do genetic testing..... we did with our DH since Dr. suspected something was going on with us, with all the miscarriages, but nothing, we were fine.....
We had today the family day in V school, there are competitions parent/kids and games, food, and a sunny hot day. Valentina was soo happy, my DH forgot he had a dentist appointment in the morning, so he went and arrived later, so I had to do all the competitions with Valentina, all were dads, I was the only mom, but we had a great time..... Even Stefano was so happy with the huge sliders and minigolf.... we eat all the junky food we could.... and then I met another mom of V classmate, we started chatting and somehow I ended telling her whole Antonella story, she seemed akward, and I just kept repeating in my mind stupid, stupid, she must think now I am crazy, I don't usually tell my story, but she started asking how much time gap were in my kids ages, and so on.....well V is also having stuffy nose.....
Happy weekend everyone

Sam~ Tell it like it is....with pregnancy hormones, you were probably crying while you were typing about walking into that office!! Lorena~ I worry about my amnesia too!!! Seriously....is that a sign of old age or what??? Glad you enjoyed the festivities at V.'s school. Liz~ Fun! I love going on vacation, but not so much the planning. I could just let someone else plan it and tell me what to do. Donna~ How's the boy?? Hopefully he'll be back to full strength just in time for school. How's the recliner doing today??? Teehee..... Lauren~ I hope you enjoyed your quiet time while the boys were out. I'm convinced that others come into my house and mess it up too. If I could just catch those darn folks, I'd take care of this problem!!! Lindsay~ How'd the appt. for the boy go?? My appts. this week are only hair cuts which I totally don't mind! Love getting to relax while someone "plays" with my hair!! Okay---off to walk. Gotta earn some points for the team so they don't call me a slacker and kick me off!

Samantha - I have to agree with Tracy on the crying just writing about walking into that dr's office. HUGS!!!
Lorena - Sounds like a fun event at school.
Well, Ryley is better. Not one single cough today that I've heard. BUT Grace has the fever now. Already re-thinking my week.

Oh no Donna!!! I was so hoping that this would skip the other kids. I think mom's with multiple children in the house should be able to get antibiotics for every child when one gets sick....just as preventative maintenance! We're back into cold temperatures again.... It's not freezing, but colder than I enjoy. If it's going to be cold...I want to see snow!!

|
|
Lauren: How's the man with "just bronchitis" feeling today? No such luck, he's had a low grade fever last night and today, at least he's a happy sickie though.
Liz: Woohoo! Yay for an awesome meeting about share!
Lorena: That sounds like a fun day with Miss V's school! Ah the always awkward conversations about our angels. Hugs!
Samantha: Hugs! We'll all be "with" you at that appointment, you can do this!
Donna: Ugh, bummer! Poor Grace.
Elim is hilarious! He is a total pro at walking now, and now that he can, he does, EVERYWHERE! He just walks and walks all over the place with no purpose other than to just walk! Always gotta have something in his hands or in his mouth too, jammies, paci wipes, my shoes, etc Kid's acting like he's trying to lose some weight with as much walking as he's doing!

Samantha- Cry if you gotsta... it's your pregnancy! I think Trinity will be keepin' close to her momma that day. Donna- Aw bummer. Purell for everyone. Lorena- I'm sorry the other mom was awkward with you... Our angels' stories are ones of love, I wish that is all people would see instead of giving those weird looks. Tracy- Stay warm! Stacy- When Micah started walking is about when he stopped puttin' on the lbs... those kids burn those calories fast! Cute how their lil' leg muscles start to look different and more kid like too! Meds workin' for the "just" bronchitis... gonna be a crazy busy week before our trip!

Tracy, want some of our snow? Read your blog, still prayin' for you and your county!
Stacy, Good for Elim, being so Graceful and all while walking. Been thinking of you and your friend.
Lauren, Glad Lance is on the mend, and I agree about the calorie burn. When T was in the hospital they would sedate her so she'd stop burning calories, for she wasn't gaining....
---lightbulbjustwentoff---
No wonder she doesn't gain.
Donna, Yea! for Ryley feeling better, boo on the rest of the fam getting it! Lysol everything! I thought of you last night while watching the news, Pittsburgh Pirates in training. I don't follow baseball well, but thought of you. Also, word on the street, SU is in Disney World at the Dolphins Hotel. I'm so confident, that I'm calling to book my room this week. AND-YOU ALL GET TO MEET TORI! (Oct 19-21, 2012)
Do you guys think I'm weird that I'm so excited about this and that you all get to meet her?
Sam-It's ok to cry. I remember the first time I walked back into the hospital that Mikey passed away in, I got physically sick and threw up all over my shirt and cancelled my appointment because I didn't have another shirt in my car. I also switched OBGYN's so I didn't have to go back. Cry it out, girl!
Lorena, pencil tree. It's a decorative tree that you decorate for every holiday of the year. Right now, it is obnoxious for St. Patrick's Day(my bday). Tori loves helping me, so I love doing it!
That's all I got, bbl...

Love when they just start to walk and are all shaky and stuff. Love watching their faces as they explore...they always look like they are on a mission and gotta get to wherever they are going fast. Hugs Sam...cry away. Noones gonna judge ya and who cares if they did. I can imagine how hard that must be for you...praying so hard for you. Want you to have everything. xoxo

Tracy - Get any snow yet? I haven't even turned on the tv to see what's going on in the world (beyond here and FB) this morning. How was your Sunday?
Stacy - So cute!!! Yeah, the chunkiness kinda takes a hike once they start walking. E and G were both pretty round (rolls upon rolls) but once they were mobile, that changed. Enjoy! And takes lots of videos. They change and grow so quickly!
Lauren - Yippee on meds working!!
Liz - Just got the scoop on SU. Oh my....is it October yet?
Yep, Grace is home. No gym time for me, again. Boo! Poor girl was a hot mess yesterday - cranky and she just wanted to sleep.

Lauren: Where ya going? I must've missed the news about your trip! Or is this your mini-vaca over to Oahu?
Liz: Totally not weird!! I was excited for everyone to meet Elim, we all love meeting our Share miracles! Don't book your room yet though, not sure how rooms will work, might have to book through the registration for SU.
Jessica: Ha! Yeah, Elim is always on a mission! He knows all the closed doors and finds them within 2 seconds if I've forgotten to close em!
Donna: I've got TONS of videos, I just can't help myself!
I was THAT mom today, I brought Elim to the gymboree class even though he's sick, gave him some benadryl and motrin before going. I'm usually very good and don't bring him out if he has so much as a runny nose, but constant sickies and cabin fever kinda got me today. We signed up for a month of classes, we'll go from there to see if I like them enough to keep bringing him.

Stacy~ (GASP!!!) A sick kid out and about??? No seriously, I completely understand and have been there done that!! My favorite time of kids learning to walk is when they hold their arms in the air and look like little chimps walking..... Too cute!! No snow for us.....the first day of spring is 2 weeks away and nothing even mentioned. Oh well! I'm loving the blooms on the trees and flowers already.

Stacy - I have done that very same thing. Shhhh....don't tell. Tracy - The blooms are beautiful. We're supposed to get more rain tomorrow, but then nice once again. I would really love to find a reliable thermometer (that doesn't cost $50+). Driving me insane....a different reading every single time, which is not a good thing when you're a mom who NEEDS TO KNOW!

Donna, just think, you only need to spend the 50 bucks once, and you will have it forever. May I suggest the Exergen Temporal Scanner.($49.99@babiesrus) NICU and home nursing told us to get it and it is well worth the money, accurate every time!
Stacy, I won't lie,I give parents of green snot nosed kids looks. I don't want my kid getting sick, but, you did already pay and it is only a month. I enrolled T at a place called tumble tots, she missed one of the 6 sessions due to her green drippage.
So tomorrow's the big day. -GULP- The 'ol dentist. I've been mentally preparing and started my valium for morning's procedure. -whimper-

Donna: We're still using the one the hospital gave us when Elim has a fever......he doesn't fully appreciate where I stick it but it's a lot more accurate than our 50 dollar forehead thermometer. Could you just get a cheapie oral thermometer and take it 30 minutes after they've eaten anything? Liz: Funny thing about that thermometer, if I take my own temp going to the right it's always a degree lower than going to the left, wonder if it's because my hair is parted and hangs over on the left side? LOL! His was at least only clear stuff coming down, no pretty colors running down his nose, just when I suction first thing in the morning or middle of the night and that gunk has been sitting there for awhile. I got a pedicure today, had a gift certificate for it, a friend though I deserved a gift on Elim's birthday. I won't be going back. She started off asking me if I chewed my toenails off..... Um....no, they just break easily, always have. Then she told me how last night she coughed and all this gunk came out of one nostril out of the blue. Um, gee, thanks.

Stacy - Yeah, I'd write that place off as far as pedicures go. That's kinda disgusting. Nice thought on the part of your friend though. As for the thermometer....I have three oral thermometers. And I use them all...and they all get different readings. DRIVES ME INSANE!! Oh and I completely agree...if there isn't a junky cough and no green snot, you're good to go.
Liz - My husband would really think I've lost my mind if I tried to justify a $50 thermometer (read about the three oral thermometers above). :-0
Good luck with the dentist.

Liz - I'll have to check out that thermometer. I'm so glad that a friend got me one back in the day. It's been pretty reliable, but yours sounds good:)
Lauren - Sorry to hear that your man is ill. Hopefully he'll get better soon with those meds. Hmm, there was some talk of a vacation, one night or more away, take it!
Donna - Sorry your kiddo isn't feeling well. I'm waiting for another round of it here too. Crossing my fingers, medicine cabinet fully stocked, co-pays holding steady, let's reach that deductible people:)
Stacy - I've had to do it. Don't feel too bad. Being home it hasn't been too much of a problem, but when I was working full-time and out of sick leave, yes, I doped 'em and sent 'em and just waited for the director to call. Never did though. The class sounds fun and it's good for you and Elim to get out.
Tracy - Yay for Ainsley and tennis! I always wanted to learn. I watch the various OPENS on tv.
Lorena - Sounds like a nice time of games and JUNK FOOD!!! Oh, yes, I KNOW that awkwardness you speak of and I hate it. Angel moms take a risk in sharing and I hope this classmate's mom was polite and didn't run away mid-sentence. I usually get the, "Are you going to try for a third, hmm, maybe a girl?" Urgh.
This morning I popped by one of my grocery stores and bought a few items we forgot on the weekend. This grocery store is a MOD supporter and at check out, I was asked if I wanted to donate. I went ahead and just did a $1 for the card. The cashier handed me the card and asked me if I wanted to fill it out in honor of a baby. That's when "my brick fell out of my pocket." I felt those tears start to form and I quickly wrote out a message. Safely back in my car, let 'em out. Felt good, but it's just such a sad time.

Lindsay: When I was in US I went to a shoe store and they also asked me if I wanted to donate and that card, I felt the knot in my throat and of course I donate..... no this mom didn't said a word, I think that is more awkward she just started looking to the sides like finding a way to run away from me..... Stacy: I have that microlife digital forehead thermometer, our ped said it was the best, so I bought it..... I had before that ear thermometer but now they said it is not accurate, and I am sure my kids have no patience with the mouth one.......and I am so scare to use the one the hospital gave us.... ugh what gross thing that pedi story..... I would have give you the "bad look" in baby class...... Lauren: glad your husband is taking the medicine and hope he is feeling better, my DH is in bed, with a bad flu......not so sure..... last night he had bad cough and fever....... I don't like to tell my story.... I don't like people feeling pity for me...... I can't stand that look.....but this mom was also telling me her hard time getting pregnant for a second time...... Liz: thanks for the tip..... Orlando..... so I will start saving my pennies........ Tracy_seems like your amnesia is contagious...... I went blank here.......... It felt so good to do some legal work back....pro bonus.....my neighbors must think I am a free lawyer, now I am doing some works for them, for free, 3 in fact but I think they are abusing...... but it felt good to do some legal papers, so I don't get so rusty....and to know that I still remember how it is done..... ok, ok, I called 2 of my colleagues just to double check that I was right .......Since I have been unemployed for 3 and half years, the Bar called me to make a revision of my notary work, since I have not done any legal work..... so I am gathering my papers.... it is like an audience were I have to state why I have not been working.....or my license can be revoke....... Miss V has a zoo visit tomorrow with her school, but parents have to come, yes Tuesday it has to be..... I have my decoration class, I can't miss one class since it is little time and we have to cover a lot of things...... but I promise her I will take her Saturday...... S will start test in 10 days......ugh! I have to mentally prepare for that....... Happy start of the week..... Lorena

hi girls,
just a quick hello from sunny florida. i'll check in more another day. i will say though that traveling with two small kids -- exhausting. Carseats, stroller, pump bag, backpack, my sister's cpl things ... ugh. A toddler who had to use the bathroom at least six times on the flight ... and a squirmy baby. I think my kids might be birth control for her.

Donna~ $50 for a thermomether??? Hmmm.....I'd have a hard time getting myself to spend that kind of money much less convincing anyone else that I needed to spend that kind of money!! Yikes!!! Stacy~ Too funny on the hair part causing a temp increase!! LOL!! Never thought about it, but let's go with it! Maybe we can be on Dr. Oz one day or something!! Gross on the chick sharing about her post nasal drip while you try to relax!!!! UGH! Lindsay~ Ansley participates with the Lifetime Tennis program and the age groups (meet a different times) go all the way to adults. Maybe you can learn! Liz~ Hope the dentist appt. didn't cause too much trauma! Lorena~ Start charging those people for your services!! Makes some money on the side! Sorry for my amnesia rubbing off.... New class started tonight and I'm seriously going to have to stay on top of this to get everything done. I've had this professor during my Master's program and I enjoy her classes, but she's definately has the work laid out for us!! No news is still good news on the work front. I had to speak to my principal about something today though and it was really nothing that was pressing or required him to do anything, but I could tell he was/is really near the breaking point. I can't imagine the stress that they're under knowing that they're making decisions regarding someone's job.....life as they know it. Please keep them in your thoughts as they're having to go through this again.

Lindsay: Hugs!!! You got a good pair of Hollywood glasses?
Lorena: Lol! No one was any the wiser, I kept his nose wiped as soon as his nose started running!
Jackie: Hey!! Hope all is going great with the new job!
Donna: Hope you get some great sleep tonight so you can recuperate from the kids being sick!
Liz: Glad that you survived the dental trip!!
Erin: Hope you enjoy the rest of your trip!!
Tracy: That must be a heartbreaking decision for him to have to make on who goes and who stays especially when I'm sure he thinks everyone deserves to stay.
After yesterday I was pretty sure Elim had another ear infection, and sure enough he did, his dang right ear keeps causing all this trouble. We're going to try him on some zyrtec to see if that helps with preventing ear infections any, this time we only lasted two weeks since stopping the antibiotics before he got another one.
Tomorrow I think I'm going to take him to an art class in the morning depending on what time he gets up! I think it'll be fun, no idea what we'll be doing but they said there's some age appropriate stuff for him.

Stacy, cool on the art class, I wish we had something like that around here.
Donna, I say, Gray gives me character...Enjoy the hair appointment!!
Where is everyone? I hope you are all well.
Busy day today. Nutrition at 9am, OT at 10, then developmentalist at 11. Ate lunch then Tori, Mike and I walked our whole neighborhood with the wagon and Raskal. Then we ditched Daddy and Tori and I went to the park and had so much fun. I stuffed her, Elmo, Dolly, baby,(her baby dolls) and her zoe/abby purse(can't forget her purse!) in the radioflyer wagon and off we went. I pulled for 2 miles, then on mile 3 we went exploring...leaves, sticks, puddles, the creek, rocks, blooming daffodils and admiring herself on the ground from her shadow. It was FANTASTIC. I always forget, how smart she really is.
I won't lie, my face hurts. It hurts less than it did before I went to the dentist, but it aches and I'm hungry.

Liz - I wish I could look at my gray hair that way. I'm not going down without a fight as far as looking anything close to my (old) age. Sounds like a fabulous day (once the appts were done)!!!
So Ethan's birthday is in two weeks+. For months he was saying he wanted an Angry Birds birthday party. I was so on it. Now he wants a dragon party. Grrrrrr......Trying to come up with ideas. Would you believe Cricut (die-cut machine) does not have a cartridge with any kid-friendly dragons? Sheesh. Any ideas?
