A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Jessica- Sorry you're not feeling well! Booo on missing a nap!

Stacy- That is some special Mac n Cheese! We were thinkin' the Gymboree type classes for next session, but I think we'll stick with music. No strange looks... they were so busy I don't think anyone noticed!

Liz- Aww that's so cute. I hear ya on the low motivation.

Going to attempt to wade through my to do list.

Donna S - Mar 29, 2012 9:20 pm (#218 Total: 253)

Mom to Ryley, 26 weeker, Grace and Ethan, full-termers

Jessica - Grrrrrrr. Feel better!

Lauren - Yeah, what looks did you get in Vickie's? Good luck with that to-do list.

Stacy - I can just see him banging on the glass to get to the older kids having more fun. Bummer on the mac n cheese though.

Liz - Feeling that pain today too.

Somehow got through 40 minutes on the elliptical, a March for Babies meeting, Costco, Target, and the unload. So tired. I hate PMS. Takes everything out of me, leaving only mean, yelling, b***chy mommy behind. Thankful we're going out to dinner tonight (epilepsy fundraiser a friend is holding). I'm toast.

Akeelah's Mommy - Mar 29, 2012 9:43 pm (#219 Total: 253)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Sheeeesh Donna! You just packed like four of my days in one! You're a rock star! Just a Racerback bra... nothin' too fancy just a needed item.... can't see my underwear these days so no sense to fancy that up... as long as the old ones aren't on backwards I figure I'm having a good day and they must look great.

KHolley - Mar 29, 2012 10:21 pm (#220 Total: 253)

Hey ladies, too tired to even function. I had an awful case of strep, the doctor was surprised at how bad it was. So, I guess I am starting my Spring Break early, not by choice!

Katie

BecauseofAlaina - Mar 29, 2012 10:26 pm (#221 Total: 253)

mom to Emily (36 weeker)- 8 yo, Alaina (33 weeker)- 5 yo, Matthew (37 weeker)- 3 yo

Hey all,
Jess--sorry you aren't feeling well. See you tomorrow at Zumba!!!!!

Donna--your days sound like mine. I fell like I am always running and it just does not stop

Stacy-- booo for the mac n cheese. I never did music together but did gymboree and LOVED it but that was with Emily about 7 plus years ago.

Well I miss you all, always busy and these days I am not sleeping that much. Matthew is waking up about 3 or more times a night crying that he wants to play. I tell him it is sleepy time and he says in his crying voice "ok mommy, night night. " I mean it is soooo cute but mommy needs sleep lol. Everyone getting ready for the holidays. Passover and easter are around the corner. I have sooo mucgh to do to get ready for passover and my kids are soooo excited since they are learning about the holiday at school. They cant wait to go to my cousins to celebrate.
Welll hope everyone has a good night!!!!

Geri

stacyat - Mar 29, 2012 10:48 pm (#222 Total: 253)

Mom to Emilyn and Hailey (our 20 week angels) and Elim (our 38 week, full term miracle)!

Lauren: Haha, no, not special, I just bought a lot of it! It's my uh oh, I don't have anything to feed Elim for lunch food. Today he got cucumbers, sweet potatoes, turkey and bologna. Of that he ate a few sweet potatoes....he was not impressed, lol.

Donna: Wow! Busy woman! No idea if I could get that all done in one day myself!

Geri: Aww, poor Matthew (and you!)! I hope he figures out the whole night time equals sleepy time not playtime.

Looks like I'm going back to Target tonight! Found out my apple corer/slicer thing from pampered chef is in fact very sharp even though it feels dull. Said goodbye to a bit of my thumb slicing up a pear for Elim! Silly kiddo wouldn't even eat the pears after all that! Anyway, I need some more bandaids so might as well get the mac 'n cheese back tonight.

Akeelah's Mommy - Mar 29, 2012 11:32 pm (#223 Total: 253)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Ooooooh I'm so dense. I was thinking it was like a bowl of mac n cheese that he was eating! Duh.

Ouch on the finger! I reeeeaaalllly want to take a nap... why is work in my way?

Donna S - Mar 30, 2012 12:27 am (#224 Total: 253)

Mom to Ryley, 26 weeker, Grace and Ethan, full-termers

Lauren - Giggling. That's all I got.

Stacy - OUCH!!!! Yeah, I have one of the pampered chef corer/slicer. They are seriously sharp!!

Geri - Ugh. Cute, yes, but not when Momma is deliriously tired!!

We are getting ready for Easter. I am in countdown mode...taking the kids to my parents' in Phoenix next Wednesday. Yahoo!!!

They tell you it gets easier as your kids get older. It doesn't...it just gets different busy. So while I'm doing a lot of running around, it's not much different busy-wise than dealing with toddlers.

Ally_Alex_Alivia's_mom - Mar 30, 2012 2:28 am (#225 Total: 253)

Donna -kudos to you, need to dust off my elliptical and get back at it!

Katie - hope you feel better soon. Hugs your way!

Stacy - ouch!!! That's no fun. I feel for ya. I went to the dermatologist today and left with a few stitches in my arm. I'm not a very good patient at waiting for things to heal.

So, it's going to be Easter before we know it. Anyone have any neat ideas of things they are putting in their kids Easter baskets? So far I have gotten sea monkeys, whoopie cushions, and bubbles.

lvazquez - Mar 30, 2012 9:52 pm (#226 Total: 253)

Mom to Donovyn (32 weeker), Tristyn (34 weeker), and Naethyn (30 weeker born sleeping)

Liz - You're not a failure. Stop it. Stop it now.

Lauren - I'm so glad that your appt. went well. Wow, two appointments in one day! Way to work it! That's what I do especially when I'm paying an hourly rate for care. Get 'em handled.

Donna - I know your poker tournament is going to be a hit and I'm sure your video is going to rock!

Jess - Hope your appt. went well:)

Geri - One of my kiddos wakes up frequently during the night too. It's gotten a bit better. Haven't tried the 1 mg melatonin suggestion just yet.

Stacy - Glad that it went well. Sometimes those places can be so scary for them.

Lorena - Oh, big girl bed! That's a big milestone. Are you okay? What's happening to the crib?

Tracy/Katie - Happy Spring Breaks to you!

Chris - I put money in the green Easter eggs. My older son loves it and can't wait to find the "green" ones this year. We're making that a li'l tradition. I'm laughing because he's 6 and this week at school, he checked out a book on money!

Got something nasty on Wednesday. I was in bed the whole day and I saw my lunch and dinner from the previous day. Yuck! It was horrible. I got to thinking . . . I'm sure that I've thrown up more in my late 20s and early 30s than I ever did as an infant! Better now and sticking with "real" food for awhile. It's making a huge difference.

Happy Friday!

Donna S - Mar 30, 2012 10:35 pm (#227 Total: 253)

Mom to Ryley, 26 weeker, Grace and Ethan, full-termers

Chris - we put a bunch of candy in the kids' baskets. I know..horrible, right? That and they each get three sleeves of Peeps. The boys are getting DS accessories. Grace - I haven't decided on yet. Probably nail polishes and stuff. Was contemplating some clothes or stuff for her American Girl doll, especially with free shipping right now.

Lindsay - ICK!! Glad you're feeling better. Food poisoning is awful, awful. BTW - are you around next week? Kids and I will arrive in Chandler Wednesday, staying until Tuesday.

Ahhhhhhhh....we are officially on Spring Break for two weeks. Yes, two weeks.

KHolley - Mar 31, 2012 1:30 am (#228 Total: 253)

Donna-I am so jealous that you get two weeks off!

Lindsay-I hope you are feeling better!

I am officially on Spring Break. I have been for two day though because I had to take two days off due to strep. Not the way I wanted to start my vacation!

stacyat - Mar 31, 2012 2:39 am (#229 Total: 253)

Mom to Emilyn and Hailey (our 20 week angels) and Elim (our 38 week, full term miracle)!

Lauren: HAHA!!! Yeah, I totally walk around with a bowl of mac 'n cheese in target all the time

Donna: WOOHOO for a trip!! Wow, two weeks?! That's one heck of a spring break!

Chris: Elim is getting a bouncy ball, some air shape toys from gymboree that were on sale, and a lamb stuffed animal and a few other little things. Not that he'll care yet!

Lindsay: Ugh, tummy bugs are the worst!! I'm glad to hear you're feeling better now.

Katie: Are you at least feeling better now?

Charles was in there patting Elim's butt to get him to go to sleep (ha!) and then Elim put his hand on his leg and started patting right along with him and then busted out laughing!! Silly kid! Think we're gonna have a zoo day tomorrow, it's gorgeous out here!

Akeelah's Mommy - Mar 31, 2012 5:14 pm (#230 Total: 253)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Stacy- That's too funny! These kids I tell ya.

Lindsay- Feel better! Love the green egg idea.

Katie- Hope the strep goes away so you can enjoy your break.

Chris- Yeah, we're just doin' lil things.

Geri- Good to see ya! Passover was my favorite holiday when I was a kiddo... got to stay up late and pretend to be all grown up drinking grape juice as wine. And the grown ups got super fun because they actually were drinking lots of wine!

One of our friends is at a fancy hotel today and invited us to come cruise with them. Woo Hoo!

Angel Love - Mar 31, 2012 9:29 pm (#231 Total: 253)

Oh girls....I feel like I've been out of the loop for a few days, but boy life has been so busy!! (Even without classes at night)

I'm on SPRING BREAK now!!! Woohoo!!!!

Donna~ I'm super jealous of 2 weeks of Spring Break! I know where to come apply for a job if I don't get a contract here!

Lauren~ That comment about not seeing your underwear is hilarious!!!

Lorena~ They need chaperones for 3rd-5th graders to keep them from mowing each other down and pushing and shoving!!! That age group gets excited and get rowdy!!

Katie and all the Stomach but girls~ I hope you're all feeling much better now!

I can't remember anything else except that someone was looking for that darn cleaning fairy again..... I'm hoping for a "fly by" too!!

KHolley - Mar 31, 2012 11:32 pm (#232 Total: 253)

Back to starting to feel human again! I ate for the first time in four days today. Kids had a karate tournament, Alex took three gold and Landen, who is too young to compete, took a silver and a bronze! We had to get special permission for him to compete, so proud of both of them!

Lauren-I hope that you had so much fun on the cruise!

Tracy-Happy Spring Break!

I am watching the Kids Choice Awards with Alex, while John and Landen are hunting. Didn't realize how much fun the kid's award shows are!!!

Donna S - Apr 1, 2012 5:26 pm (#233 Total: 253)

Mom to Ryley, 26 weeker, Grace and Ethan, full-termers

Katie - Glad you're feeling better!! And a big congrats to Alex and Landen. That's awesome!!

Tracy - Sadly, our school district isn't much better than yours. Tons of pink slips every year. We haven't gone to furlough days yet, nor have they closed any of our schools, but all of our classrooms are maxed out. If you find that cleaning fairy, let me know.

Lauren - Ooooooooohhhhhhh...enjoy the fancy hotel day!

Stacy - Elim is such a little ham. Too cute.

Day two of Spring Break and four of the five of us are sick. So not happy. On top of that, it's cold, windy, and keeps "misting" off and on. We did get out to see Hunger Games yesterday. Loved it. And Ryley's team won their baseball game too. Yippee!! Mother of the year - ran out of both boys' ADHD meds. Makes for interesting days. First time in the 3 1/2 years since Ryley's diagnosis that's happened. Grrrrrrrr

stacyat - Apr 1, 2012 6:08 pm (#234 Total: 253)

Mom to Emilyn and Hailey (our 20 week angels) and Elim (our 38 week, full term miracle)!

Lauren: Oooh, fancy fancy! How was the cruise!

Tracy: Woohoo! Got any big plans for spring break? Get a few extra naps in?

Katie: Glad to hear you're feeling better, go Alex and Landen, that's awesome!!

Donna: Ugh, sounds like a bad start to spring break! Ouch, bet those were some tough days in your household!

Elim calls, better go get him! He gets more upset on Sundays when I'm not right there after a traumatic day of being left at the church nursery.

lvazquez - Apr 1, 2012 7:27 pm (#235 Total: 253)

Mom to Donovyn (32 weeker), Tristyn (34 weeker), and Naethyn (30 weeker born sleeping)

Lauren - Ohhhh . . . enjoy that fancy hotel. Hope you charged a yummy cocktail to their room:)

Tracy - Hope you are enjoying and taking some time for you.

Stacy - What a sweetie:) They so know when they're left with someone who isn't mom, but oh the look on their faces at pick-up time:)

Donna - Ooh, sorry for the sickness. Hopefully some AZ weather will clear that right up:) We'll definitely be around. Maybe shoot me an e-mail and we can check in with each other:)

Angel Love - Apr 2, 2012 12:24 am (#236 Total: 253)

Donna~ Really??? Sick at spring break?? Not good, but then again.....no missing school Hope all are better sooner than later, and hope the pharmacy stays open late for refills!!

My plans are to REST!! My only plans are to get my hair cut one day and other than that.....as little as possible! I do hope to get motivated to clean out my car and house, but if it doesn't happen then....oh well!

    Abigail's Mom (29 weeks, 3/21/05)

I have missed so much. I thought being on sabbatical meant less craziness but all it means is no schedule so more variety and less regiment, which I don't like.

    Jess- Is everything ok?

Donna- I hope the kids are feeling better.

My MfB team is so slow this year and you guys are doing great. We switched sites b/c we are going to England for six weeks for work and our normal one is in June. I guess I'll have to be one of those people raising money after... How was the poker tournament?

Had Abigail's birthday party at our house Sat. 10- 7-year old girls and a my little pony pinata. they were so happy. I am not sure who got more stuff her American Girl Doll or her.

I am glad everyone is enjoying their Spring Breaks. How are all of the pregnant moms doing? Ready for the Easter Bunny? Have a great day.

    liz loschinskey - Apr 2, 2012 2:31 pm (#242 Total: 253)

    I love my kids!

    Hey everyone!

Ellen, hahah about the american girl doll. England? What's in England? I volunteered for the Family tent in Pittsburgh as my walk is in Beaver. I thought, Yay!! I'll see Ellen and Erin!! Bah.

Donna, so sorry about the kids and running out of meds.

    Lauren, cruise? Oooh lalaaaa!

I'm not sure who else said what except something about the cleaing fairy, and that woman needs to come here!

Tori had a sleepover last night and a bonus was to hang out with Mermie and Pap all day! Gym! Cleaning!! Day for me!!

M4B's fundraiser was a bust. The more I think about it was a bust. Whatev...blogged about it. Got rid of Tori's nutritionist...blogged about it. Fantastic Easter egg hunt after church yesterday...totally cool.

    bbl....

Lauren: Wow go on that fancy hotel.....

Tracy: I know kids need to be watch out, I was just teasing you.... glad you have more time for your naps..... an a haircut

Katie: Glad you are feeling human again.... hope you are better to enjoy your spring break days.... Congratulations for Alex and Landen... I want to watch that movie Hunger Games too..

Donna: ooh so bad that in your house are sick, so you are the only healthy one??? And so bad for the weather, that is nasty, bad weather and sickness in your vacation time.... I forget all the time S ADHD medicine, on my defense, I have to take Drs. prescription to a horrible gov place to get signed, I feel like a junky with a prescription really there is no parking, and I left all my belongings I feel like I will get rob.....I want to watch that movie and read the books.....

Stacy: Poor dear Elim hope his nursery church scare will pass soon....

Lindsay: ugh stomach bug is awful..... hope you are better now.... the crib belongs to my sister.... she gave me a good advice, why spent so much money in something that you will not know where to put it in your house??? so she borrowed hers to me.... and I returned it back..... so I don't have to look for a space for it in my house....

Jessica: what news are you going to tell???

Ellen: Happy Birthday Abby, I truly hope she had a great day, sounds like she did, I met Sandy, the past Saturday, thanks for your hello.....

That American Doll, I have seen many girls here with that, I am suffering knowing V will want that one.... to tell the truth I don't like it.....

Liz: Already a egg hunt at the church??? Sorry about the fundraiser.....

James: thanks for the link, I watched the video, to tell the truth I don't know ho he is, but it is great all the money he donated and that he is working to help .... he should tell his story of his preemie kids....

Well we are in the Holy Week vacation..... Poor miss V is bored to be home, though we hardly have been in, Saturday we went to my sister's house, and Sunday we went for lunch and see the religious processions which are a huge and magnificent thing to watch here, we waited like 2 hours in the street but the kids had a blast for all the street vendors and even helped to make a street flower carpet..... It was our first time, and even S told me next year he wants to carry the procession, which is a huge (140 carriers on each side).... Tomorrow I plan to take the kids to the Children's museum, and Wednesday we will go to the beach, to my sister's house......

I have a terrible neck pain, I know it is muscular thing, but even when I swallow it hurts.... I can't turn my head around.....

So happy Spring Break & Easter to everyone.....

    Lorena
