Lost my little Angel

Flowerlily - 03:47pm Feb 17, 2012 EST

Hi All,

As I am writing this I am in tears! I lost my little girl at 21 weeks because of a short cervix. I had a previous pregnancy before with no problems. I am devastated! I don't know how to be strong. It is the hardest thing for a woman to go through. I held her little body for as long as could she was so beautiful. I feel like it was my fault. I don't know what to do.

Welcome to Share. I am so sorry for the loss of your precious little girl. It's the hardest thing a parent can endure. I am sorry for the reason that brought you to Share, but I hope that this site can offer more words of comfort and support to you. I'm an angel mom to a 30-weeker almost three years ago now. Some days are still very much a struggle, but with each day, I gain more perspective and hope.

Wishing you strength,

Lindsay

Hello and welcome to share, I am so sorry that the loss of your sweet girl is what brought you...

Hi Stacyat,

My little girl's name was Adilene wich means Angel's sight. She was 13oz and had my nose she was the most beautiful little person! Doctors told me it was because of my short cervix don't really understand, but I am feeling as if I am in a nightmare. It was just so recent. I pray to God to help me everyday!

Mom to Emilyn and Hailey (our 20 week angels) and Elim (our 38 week, full term miracle)!

What a beautiful name! So sweet! My girls were both 13 oz as well, so tiny but so perfect! I'm so sorry, that must be so confusing to have things go fine with your first pregnancy and then so drastically wrong with the second. You've definitely found the place to come to for support to carry you through, it sure did that for me and still does it. Hugs!
Stacy
