Happy Sunday!
Lauren-Super bowl = commercials, seeing the Steelers aren't playing. Altho, we did have some go into the football hall of fame yesterday. No Jerome Bettis tho, boooo!
Morning sickness...*cringes*...I just remember dry heaving with Tori to the point I'd puke. PS-I loved Coca-cola and milk mixed when preggo with Mikey.
Stacy/Tracy- Hope your babies feel better soon!
Katie-I love books and movies that make me LOL!
Blah here, Potty training is a bust. I ordered this potty princess doll that clearly said online that it drinks and goes potty. Dudes, it doesn't drink or go potty. It has a potty that flushes and talks to you. But doesn't potty. I ordered it because it was the only potty doll that had a sippy cup and not a bottle. Booo.
If my DH tells me one more time it's my fault our kid weighs 19 pounds,, I'm not quite sure what I'll do. EX-last night she starts with "yogurt, yogurt, yogurt" Mind you, she ate 4 whole things of yogurt and a go gurt---that's 5 things of yogurt in one day. I said no, gave her a banana and cheerios instead(she was delighted with the banana/cheerios) "that's why she only weighs 19 pounds, you don't feed her what she wants."blah blah blah"Just give it to her".....Look dude, I'm not giving her 6 things of yogurt in one day. Whole fact of the matter I just bought 20/$10 on Friday and there is 9 left. Ladies, it's the simple things that get under my skin and make horrible thoughts go through my head.
I start classes next week. Should be interesting. I hope I'm not in there with a bunch of teeny boppers.
Thank you and YAY for the shining star!!! Brought a smile to my face.

Okay---so did I really say that Ansley was all better??? Yep, yesterday...going strong all day long and off with her daddy last night. 6:30 this morning she starts with sickness again from top and bottom!! After that hour, she seems to be over it! Just enough to cancel our Superbowl plans..... Lauren~ I don't have a team preference tonight. I have to say that I do hold a grude against Eli Manning for how he acted when he was recruited by the team that wasn't the one that he wanted right out of college. I mean come on---you're getting paid millions---who cares?? Stacy~ Silly tired babies are so fun to watch!! I hope that the boy is still holding off the fever. Liz~ If the man has better options of getting her to gain weight, then tell him to go for it!! That's aggravating no matter how you look at it! Katie~ Have you gotten your cast off already?? I haven't heard you mention it and didn't know. I think I forgot to comment on the phone calls for failure last time too. Isn't it aggravating when you bust your butt to help kids and they blow it off???? I have several doing that right now and it drives me completely insane!!

Mom to Donovyn (32 weeker), Tristyn (34 weeker), and Naethyn (30 weeker born sleeping) |
|
|
Leigh: That's awesome for Tucker! I hope he takes to even more yummy blends that mommy creates:)
Stacy: Hope your little boy gets better for his big celebration. I'm with you. Who's playing again (he he)? Score on the train table!
Liz: Urgh, the blame game. I'm sorry for that. I think it's great that she's eating and congrats on getting her to try other foods. I know a bit about that. Mr. T is a super picky eater. He tried Honey Nut Cheerios yesterday for the first time.
Lauren: No more Fritos, huh? Sorry for the morning sickness. One thing I will never eat again is KFC. I haven't been there since 2007 and everytime I see a commercial, I have to put my hands up to cover my eyes. It was an awful aftermath. I will forget it. Funny, but the things that made me sick with Mr. T are the same foods he refuses to try.
Ooh, I wanted to share something that happened last week or so and not sure I mentioned. Tristyn put on his socks and his shoes all my himself. Life changing! He's been doing it ever since and it's really neat. Big for us, so proud:)

Katie- Enjoy the movie... and awww... can't we all just get along? Liz- Ugh on the foodie dispute. He'll thank you later when she eats a variety of things instead of just yogurt! Enjoy the day, the game and the commercials everyone!! xoxoxo

Lauren: Does it help that I got excited when Encino man came on tv the other day for early 90s knowledge? Eww on morning sickness, I hate it! I promise I won't offer you any fritos for awhile. I'll never eat those rotisserie chickens again Liz: Big big hugs momma! Even if you are there with a bunch of teeny boppers, they'll look at you like you know everything! It's a win! Tracy: Elim and Ansley must be on the same page! His fever was gone for all of yesterday and this morning, but this afternoon it's back up and higher than it originally was! I hope the worst is over for Ansley. Lindsay: Aaah!! Go Tristyn! That's wonderful! I'm making a rainbow balloon wreath for Elim, about halfway done and my thumb feels like it's gonna fall off! It's gonna be super cute though, and I plan on using it as the official birthday wreath in the house so it'll last for awhile!

Wow, can't believe I haven't made it on Share in a couple of days. Things have been crazy around here and I feel like I spend so much time on the computer at night for work, I just can't seem to get to Share! Liz - So sorry things are getting snippy about Tori's weight. It's not your fault!! Stacy - You o know we need lots and lots and lots of pictures right?!? Lauren - sorry about the morning sickness. Maybe this one's going to be a little stinker seeing Micah is so mild mannered. Lindsay - Give Tristyn a big hugs from all of us! Way to go! Leigh - Tucker is so amazing... not that you needed someone to tell you that. I am having such difficultly figuring out the whole work life balance. My kids are getting frustrated that I work in the evenings at home sometimes but the times I don't have to work while they are in school is the time I do my errands. It's much easier to do work in the evenings at home than to drag 2 kids to the store with me. I know I'll get the hang of it, but I hope it happens quick!

Lauren~ I so love me some Curious George!!! Loved the books as kids and the cartoon still makes me giggle. Lindsay~ Yay for new skills at your house! It's the little things that make the biggest smiles for everyone! So far so good with Ansley's crud....I'm not getting too excited though because I've thought we were good with it for 4 days now. Got a question for you football girls..... Do you think that Bill Belecheck has more than one "cut off" sweatshirt or is that the only one and he wears it every weekend??? Just wondering.....

Jackie- I hear ya on balancing the work at home, it's so tough to try to find time for everything and to know when work is "done" when you're at home. Sometimes I wish I could just clock in and clock out.
What a great game! Totally exciting 'til the very end! And we were at our friend's house who has a house very similar to ones in the Decendents... yeah... it's that big. And Micah had a blast running all over with the big kids. Great time had by all!
And... day three of no nursing! He didn't even ask today. Awww and yaaah all at the same time.

I sad, but also okay, knowing the girls will be back in commission in a few months helps. They need a break! He still wants a hand down my shirt a lot... but shooots... what XY type doesn't!? lol! Jessica~ Too funny on not being excited since it affects your family time. I can totally get that! I was talking about the coach of the Patriots. He always wears a sweatshirt with the sleeves cut off...... Lauren~ Fun! Fun!! Love it when the kids enjoy the event too! I'll bet he slept well afterwards too. Yay for being "free", but boo for Micah man growing up so fast. Ansley's fine for today....I say that lightly because who knows what tomorrow will bring for her. Today was haircuts and picking out class Valentine's. Then a few groceries.... We just finished lunch and now I'll be back on the search for articles for my class. I so dislike writing reviews of literature.... Only 11 months to go and I'll be done with grad school.....again.

Happy Monday-after-SuperBowl!!! Ugh. Is it bedtime yet?
Tracy - Ansley still holding up? Poor girl, that does not sound like any kind of fun. As for Belecheck heeheehee. Pretty sure it's the same one. Ick.
Lauren - Total ick on the Fritos doing a reverse. I still gag when I touch raw chicken (courtesy of my pregnancy with Ryley). Sounds like a totally fun time for Micah man. And as for the hand down the shirt, Ethan still to this day will slap his hand up there. Oy. Thankfully, very few and far between. lol
Jessica - That would be a bummer part of the whole Giants winning thing.
Jackie - Hang in there. You'll work it out. I would so much rather go to the store without kids.
Busy, busy, busy weekend. Grace had her first basketball game ever = total entertainment. Got to see and hold the great-niece Danika again. She's a little cutie that one. Also got to run with my brother yesterday which is the best. Now I have to wait until the end of April to see him again. I've been spoiled seeing him three times since Christmas. This month is a serious cluster of sports activities, therapy, physical therapy (for my stupid neck and shoulder), etc. Yes, the craziness is starting again. How am I supposed to get Ryley to baseball practice, Grace to soccer tryouts, and Ethan to therapy all at the same time and one in a completely other city? AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

And Micah is coming with since the sitter is on vacay... we're gonna hit the Honolulu Zoo between appointments... should be fun... or exhausting... hopefully both!

Hey everyone!
Lauren, safe travels! How was your dr. appt?
Jackie, hoping work/kids/life balances out soon!
Tracy, How's Ansley? Haircut? What's that? 11 months can't come soon enough.
Jess, busy day yesterday...yikes! Yay Giant fans!
Donna, that's way to much, I'd be on extreme overload. 1 thing at a time is my only advice.
Katie, did your arm smell weird when you got your cast off?
Things are ok here. Headed to Harrisburg this weekend to visit friends. 4 hours in the car with my dh may give me a stroke along the way. Tori has her yearly eval with early intervention tomorrow. Bringing on an OT, brought on a nutritionist 2 weeks ago(she's gained 8 ounces by simple suggestions) still 19 pounds. Yearly eval also means Miss Tanya(Developmentalist) who's been here over a year a big part of T's life(She's done every m4b walk with us) will be testing Tori. We know Tori is going to test out of her care. I'm hoping we can keep her as an umbrella type of person who keeps track of all of Tori's issues and reports back. We will find out tomorrow. My heart will break if Miss Tanya leaves us. My heart will break for Tori as she stands at the door "Tanya, tanya, tanya, let's play! Wanna play?"
It's CHD awareness week. Tori had an ASD so her heart defect is a big deal in this house. Wow...I just typed HAD. She HAD an ASD. She is blessed.
Keeping Kyle in my prayers, and yes, even Tori can say Kyle...(more like Kie) and we pray extra hard for him and the family when a surgery is coming up.
What the heck is there to do in Harrisburg?
Miss ya guys
bbl...

Katie - What did I miss? Cast? Yay for getting it off, but what happened? Lauren - BOO on the rain!!! How did everything go? Jess - Skinny? Thanks. I guess I don't think of myself as that busy, especially because I don't work. Yay for OT checks!! Liz - I'd push, kick, and scream to hang onto wonderful Tanya as a safety net if nothing else. Once you get rid of a service, it's so hard to get it back. Good luck!! As for Harrisburg, I am no help. DOH!! Ahhhhh.....lunch out with some ladies from church. So nice to just be a girl, ya know? Then I got to shop with a gift card. Double bonus!
