Stacy~ GREAT JOB!!!! Love the party pics and thanks for linking me to the "important" ones. I love the crayon art too! I've seen many on Pinterest, but none with the butterflies stamped in them. Ansley immediately asked if you could make her one!! LOL!

Lauren~ Chocolate covered potato chips I thought Trader Joes was suppose to have healthy alternatives......UGH!! Hope the boys enjoyed the drag races. Ansley always loves that event with her daddy too!

Speaking of......guess who was back up at 5 a.m. with vomitting and diahrea.....again. Um yep---the same kid who was up at 6:30 a.m. last week doing the exact same thing! Thankfully this morning she seems to feel fine, but good grief!

lvazquez - Feb 12, 2012 6:01 pm (#117 Total: 319)

Mom to Donovyn (32 weeker), Tristyn (34 weeker), and Naethyn (30 weeker born sleeping)

Stacy: He's adorable there with his little cake and colorful hands. Num num! The crayon art is really neat and I do remember you mentioning that before. Looks like you ALL had a great time!

Lauren: Go right on ahead and finish the bag! If it will help calm your nerves, go for it. Normally, I would suggest Scotch or something, but yeah, chocolate covered potato chips are way better for you right now:)

Tracy: Sorry your little one was up sick. That doesn't sound good at all. Hope she stays feeling better.

Mountain of laundry almost tackled. So bummed about Whitney Houston. I was just singing one of her songs yesterday- "I get so emotional baby. Everytime I think of you-ou-ou." So weird. I still have the cassette to her singing the Star Spangled Banner. I feel bad for her daughter.

Akeelah's Mommy - Feb 12, 2012 6:25 pm (#118 Total: 319)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Tracy- Ewwwwwy! Hope that stays away!

Lindsay- I'm right with ya on the laundry pile... makes me think nudists are on to something... no laundry!

I gotta say the whole Houston was such an amazing fabulous wonderful person... I dunno... woman had amazing fabulous wonderful talent... and I'll bust out "I waaaannna dance with somebody..." like the best of them... but um... she was also everything ya don't want your kids to grow up to be... drug addict... alcoholic... sad story, and totally sad for her kiddo. Sorry, I'm heartless!

Abigail's Mom (29 weeks, 3/21/05)

Jackie- I hope matt feels better and that Kimmie does not get it. I am sorry but I seemed to have missed which job you decided to take. If you don't mind sharing. I love hearing about what everyone does.

Lindsay- I hope the intake and the job fairs go well. Both are so stressful. As tracy said, at least there are job fairs.

Stacy- WOW. That is a serious first birthday party. Congratulations, you deserve to sleep for a week..I hope everyone had as much fun there as we did looking at the pics.

Donna- I hope the soccer tryouts go well and the coach is nowhere to be found. I never understand why kids sports are a breeding ground for drama but they so are.

Lauren- Good luck with the shots. I hate all kinds of needles so I cannot watch but they are definitely for a good cause. I hope your house guests are lots of fun. Don't feel bad about the chips, I am currently addicted to somekind of popcorn chips from Costco, they are awesome

Liz- How was your trip?

We had snow this weekend and during abigail's ice skating lessons so that was fun. I am just glad that she is upright more often than she is on the ice now. So proud of myself. I am actually doing some of the cooking (basic) lately. Something I have never done before but it is going ok (at least is all edible) I am at work and headed home but wanted to see how everyone was doing. Sounds like you guys are a busy lot...
See you tomorrow.

Awww, that sounds magical to have snow and ice skating! Abigail is brave!

And you go with your cookin' self! Whatcha makin? I'm always lookin' for new recipes. I feel like we cook the same 5 things in different orders every week.

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Why can't I just have a fairy godmother to put all the laundry away? They do it so proficiently.

Angel Love - Feb 13, 2012 12:42 am (#122 Total: 319)

Ellen~ Can you freeze some of what you cook and send it south?? I'm such a slacker when it comes to cooking!!

Lauren~ Hmmm......I've never found that fairy. She must hate that task as much as we do.

Let me just say that a full day of Disney channel will make the calmest person with a full night's sleep go completely crazy so to say the least--------I'm not doing so well with it right now!

stacyat - Feb 13, 2012 4:21 am (#123 Total: 319)

Mom to Emilyn and Hailey (our 20 week angels) and Elim (our 38 week, full term miracle)!

Lauren: His next party will not be as crazy as this one, pinterest sucked me in and made me it's slave! Mmmm, send some my way, those sound interesting! Don't worry, I'm heartless too. Here's a couple recipes I found on pinterest! I loved the cheesy enchilada casserole especially.

http://www.justgetoffyourbuttandbake.com/?p=3352

http://www.chef-in-training.com/2012/01/crock-pot-chicken-parmesan.html

Tracy: Haha!! I've got no idea how to even begin with those! Rosie said it was kinda easy though, so maybe! Aww poor Ansley, I hope the nasties go away soon!

Ellen: It was a blast!! He won't remember it, but we'll have tons of pics to show him at least! Sounds like a ton of fun with the ice skating!!

OMG! So guess what! Elim decided he knows how to walk today!! It's so crazy, yesterday he wouldn't take a step on his own while he was paying attention! Today he just let loose! Still only like five steps max, but he's trying and it's sooooo cool to see him doing it, and without coaxing even!! I love watching him learn new things!

liz loschinskey - Feb 13, 2012 2:38 pm (#124 Total: 319)

I love my kids!

Morning ladies,

Weekend travels were nice. Visiting with friends and having girl time with no husband or kid were fabulous. Coming home and stopping at the Flight 93 Memorial was the best part of the trip. We couldn't get to the actual rock or wall of names, but it was nice. It was so windy and snowy at the tip toppity of the mountains, the park ranger said it was negative number temperatures and about a 300 yard walk to the impact site.

As for classes, I'm taking an Excel and Powerpoint class.

I did read all of the posts but have a 2 year old tugging at my pj pants....bbl

Angel Love - Feb 13, 2012 4:03 pm (#125 Total: 319)

Nasties are gone again for now ...

Waiting at the eye dr now ...with no contacts in. That's just plain mean!

Donna S - Feb 13, 2012 4:55 pm (#126 Total: 319)

Mom to Ryley, 26 weeker, Grace and Ethan, full-termers

Oy - Monday. Ugh. So not feeling it. Rainy, cloudy, cold day which wouldn't be bad except I have PT, work in Ethan's class, and then G's tryouts tonight (yep, they will still go on in the rain). Still no updated info on who our coach will be. I'm terrified we're going to get there and it will still be them. Add to the fact Grace started a cold Saturday which is full force today. Poor child.

Jackie - Did I see on FB that Matthew is feeling better? Strep stinks.

Stacy - Sooooo impressed with the party. And walking? Just in time for his bday = awesomeness.

Lauren - chocolate covered potato chips? You're so allowed right now!

Liz - Glad the travels were safe and good.

Ellen - While you're freezing and sending, will you send some this way? I'm with Lauren - I feel like I cook the same things over and over and over again. BORING!!!

Tracy - Eye doctor? That is mean. I hate wearing my glasses in public.

Anyone find that laundry fairy? Kids' clean clothes are spread all over the couch.

Angel Love - Feb 13, 2012 6:58 pm (#127 Total: 319)

Okay---the mean treatment continues.....they send you out of there with your eyes dialated and those goofy wrap around sunglasses to keep you from dying in the sun! The final verdict....I'm still blind, but just a bit more than before! Thank goodness for contacts!!

Donna~ Poor Grace! I hate dealing with colds when I'm not having to run around and show my skills. Add rain on top of that and UGH!!

Okay---so far so good on Ansley today. She's playing with my nephews at my mom's right now. She didn't want to play the waiting game at the dr's office and is thrilled to be out of the house today! Shhh....me too!!!

Donna S - Feb 13, 2012 7:59 pm (#128 Total: 319)

Mom to Ryley, 26 weeker, Grace and Ethan, full-termers

Ugh - I hate getting my eyes dilated. ICK!!

Good news - we got confirmation from her old coach he is definitely NOT coaching this year. YAY!!!!!! Such a relief. I've been so stressed about this.

esgf - Feb 13, 2012 9:19 pm (#129 Total: 319)

Abigail's Mom (29 weeks, 3/21/05)

Hope the eye doctor went well. Now I go to Panera to get a cookie and wait for my eyes to get back to normal. They probably think I am an addict based on the size of my pupils.

Ladies- When I say basic, I meant it. Turkey meatloaf (Paula Deen has a good one-no butter), pork chops, etc. DH has always done the cooking. He is much more adventuresome but since he took up the laundry when we moved. I was starting to feel a bit bad so I thought I would learn how to cook something besides tortellini (well at least not be terrified in the kitchen). I have always baked so my cooking phobia is a bit weird.

Yay for Elim!

Tomorrow I finish off the root canal. Wish me luck. Bad dentist appt today but good work and an awesome fitness class so it all balances.

Liz- Those classes will be great b/c I know here they are a must for any hire we make. Glad you had a good trip.

Good luck tonight Donna.

Hello Ladies, hope everyone is been doing okay, Im finally overcoming a horrible resp cold that I have had for over 2 weeks and felt as though I was not going to make it through. Last Friday we were given the news that a very dear friend of our family (although he has been more like family) had passed away on his 71st birthday! He was an amazing man and a deacon at one of the Catholic churches in our town, He would come to the hospital and pray over my FIL when he was in the hospital batteling cancer. He was just a very amazing man and Jadon loved him so much! today was the viewing and it was tough Im not sure how I made it through and really just want to go to sleep! Hope everyone has a great Valentines Day!

Love ya ladies!

Oh Samantha - I'm so sorry for your loss of your friend, and to hear you've been so sick. Feel better, my friend.

Soccer tryouts cancelled for tonight. It's been raining since we got home from school. Relieved - last thing I needed was Grace out in cold (low 50's now), wet, windy weather for two hours.

Root canal - yuck!! Hope it goes well tomorrow.

Angel Love - Feb 14, 2012 3:20 am (#132 Total: 319)

Samantha~ I'm so sorry to hear of your family friend's death. Ugh for the yucky respiratory mess! I'm glad you're on the mend!

Donna~ Yay for no nasty coach and even bigger celebration for the fact that rainy try-outs were cancelled!!!

Anyone else watching The Bachelor this season??? I usually enjoy watching this show and laugh most of the way through at the craziness of the girls and guys involved, but this season is a bit disappointing.....

Let me tell you another hilarious thing.....Valentine's Eve at Walmart in a small town!!!!!! You could not fit another person on the aisle and others were waiting for their turn. I swear, sometimes I need a bench in public just to sit and laugh.

stacyat - Feb 14, 2012 3:49 am (#133 Total: 319)

Mom to Emilyn and Hailey (our 20 week angels) and Elim (our 38 week, full term miracle)!

Donna: Woohoo for the old coach not coming back!!

Ellen: Ugh on the root canal, hope it's as pain free as possible for you!

Samantha: Big hugs!!

Tracy: I've been watching an episode here and there, not too exciting.

Lorena: Where ya at? Hope you're doing well!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICAH MAN!!!! Elim's almost, but kinda sorta is birthday buddy!

SO tired! Maybe I'll be caught up tomorrow? HA! Yeah right.

I leave you with one last picture of my baby before he turns a whole one year old!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICAH AND ELIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tracy-I am watching this season, nothing too exciting. We all know he's probably going to pick Courtney.

Donna-So glad the old coach is not back. We just made the league move Alex to her old t-ball team because she was put on a team with a crazy coach. I am not going to have her ruined that little!

Happy Valentine's Day! I hope that everyone has a wonderful day!

KHolley - Feb 14, 2012 4:04 pm (#135 Total: 319)

Best story of the day! I am holding a little, tiny, one month old chihuahua at school. I took it from a student that had it in her bra!!!!! I am puppy sitting for the rest of the day until she heads home with it. I did offer to take it if she was not able to care for it!

Happy Valentine's Day everybody! HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Micah and Elim! I bet you gals are taking lots of pics of your sweeties.

It's so weird. My state turns 100 years old today! I just hope our Governor can learn to keep her fingers out of people's faces:(

Karri - Feb 14, 2012 6:21 pm (#138 Total: 319)

Mom to 4 amazing kiddos!

For the love of all things holy! I forgot how much you ladies can talk. Did we talk this much when I was here?
Wonder how deep my blog is buried. Guess I better go dig it up and clear out the cobwebs.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Nuh-uh....that is NOT Karri I see lurking in the Cafe. Heaven be praised - we have her back ladies!!!!!!!

Happy Valentine's Day my sweet, sweet friends. Love you all! (that does include you too James!)

Lindsay - lol

Happy Birthday Micah and Elim!! What a fun day. Precious picture Stacy. Squish him for me!

Katie - She really brought a dog to school? A little jealous of you getting to puppy sit all day. We came *this* close to convincing my mom to leave her puppy here after we puppy-sat for a week.

Tracy - Just giggling at the mental picture of that aisle in your WalMart.

OMG - Is it bad that I would have loved to kick two kids out of 4th grade reading group this morning? One is just the class clown and thinks he is totally hilarious and cute too. He's neither - just massively annoying. Another girl is smart but so couldn't give a hoot. She never has her books, never finishes her reading, never does her homework and always has some smart-aleck remarks. Gah! I don't know how you teachers do it.

KHolley - Feb 14, 2012 9:05 pm (#140 Total: 319)

Donna-Yep, I "had" to puppy sit until her mom got here to get the puppy! I feel like you did everyday!

Tracy-I can so see you on one of those outdoor patio sits people watching!

Karri-Who's Karri?!!!! We are so glad you are back!!!!!!!!!!

So, after a super exciting day of puppy sitting, I am heading home to take a quiet Valentine's Day nap!!!!!!

Donna S - Feb 14, 2012 9:13 pm (#141 Total: 319)

Mom to Ryley, 26 weeker, Grace and Ethan, full-termers

I am so completely jealous of you getting a nap, Katie. I could so sleep right now but instead I'm headed back to school to help with Ryley's class party. At least Grace isn't going to dance today (still fighting the wonderful cold), and Michael is bringing sushi home for dinner. YUM!!

Arnara - Feb 14, 2012 10:38 pm (#142 Total: 319)

Stacy: Happy Happy Birthday to sweet Elim..... hope he had a great day and a great party..... sending my best wishes to him......

Lindsay: Je vous remercie de vos bons voeux chers ami.... bueno espero qué lo haya escrito bien..... ayer estuve con un diplomático francés aunque nos costó entendernos al final nos entendimos...creo qué tomaré clases de francés........

Lorena: Hey girl! Happy Valentine's Day! Nice to see you in here! It's getting harder and harder to get here. I've been thinking about you and did just today:) Here you are . . .

I had (3) Valentine's parties at three different schools today. I don't want to see another cupcake or cookie for awhile. Barf. I should've just given the teachers Clorox wipes for Valentine's treats:)

Donna: Oooh, fourth grade reading group. You're so nice to volunteer:) I was in my son's 1st grade class today helping out and these young kiddos are so much nicer to work with than the high schoolers. Almost makes me want to go back and get an elementary ed. endorsement . . .

Katie: Hope your nap was good aftet puppy sitting:)

Karri: Hello! From Chicago, right?

Donna S - Feb 14, 2012 10:53 pm (#144 Total: 319)

Mom to Ryley, 26 weeker, Grace and Ethan, full-termers

Lorena!!! Good to see you again friend! Happy Valentine's Day!!

One Valentine's class party was more than enough for me. And our kids don't really get any kind of treats - our district is so strict with the nutritional rules. Nothing homemade at all. They do relax the 200 calorie per item limit twice a year. Gone are the days of birthday cupcakes or cookies. So sad. I get it, but honestly....taking all the fun away.

Angel Love - Feb 14, 2012 11:29 pm (#145 Total: 319)

Donna~ Were you in MY classroom earlier??? I swear you just described a few of my kids in my reading group!!! Sorry I missed ya!!

KARRI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So good to see you!!! The answer is yes, you did talk this much, but it was easy because you visited daily. I was one of the newbies and couldn't keep up!! I just read and read and read......

Lorena~ Hey you!! Glad to see you back too!

Katie~ Puppy sitting!!! Seriously, I hope you hit the Germ-X after taking that puppy out of her bra!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MICAH AND ELIM!!!!!!!!! TWO OF OUR CUTEST CUTIES!!!!!

Stacy~ Love the pic of Elim with his little teeth shining! So feel the need to hug him now!

Thanks for the Valentine's wishes James!

Ansley gave me two great Valentine's gifts today. (1) When I went to get her up this morning, she was completely dressed and ready and yelled, "Happy Valentine's Day!" (2) A HUGE Payday candy bar with a hug to boot!! (Yep...Payday has no chocolate!) Love that little girl bunches!!
