Hi there,
I'm sorry you are so frustrated right now with these fertility questions. I know how the desire to have a child can consume -- I've been there. I hope that through your thorough recordkeeping -- and your husband's tests -- that you get some answers.

I've been meaning to ask this but what kind of testing has your OB done on you? When we first tried conceiving and were unsuccessful after a year -- my OB did an HSG, ran bloodwork to check FSH and LH levels and checked ferning patterns on CM around ovulation time. After all those tests turned up nothing suspect -- she referred us to a reproductive endocrinologist, who ran even more tests. Might be worth asking your OB about these tests for you -- unless you've already had them.

I know in your last post -- you were having a hard time with your hubby's suggestion of adoption. I would have gone that route in a heartbeat if we hadn't been able to conceive again after losing our sons. But I know not everyone feels that way. My husband told me he could never raise someone else's child, which really hurt.

I hope that with time, everything falls into place for you. Keep us posted.

Good luck with the appointment. There are so many things that can be "wrong." Like Erin said, the first thing my doctor did was order an HSG, even before having the semenalysis. I hope having the charts helps provide some answers.

I know what you mean about taking control. It helps to feel like you're doing SOMETHING! Maybe we should start a thread for infertility somewhere...
