Every Baby has a Story Bus
McTriplet Mommy - 07:21pm Oct 25, 2007 ESTLorne (23 wk), Isaac (26 wk) and Sullivan (26 wk) - my four-year miracles!!We have the privilege of having the MOD Every Baby Has a Story Bus come here to Kansas City in November - so they are centering their PAM events around that. I don't think we have anything planned specifically on PAD (the bus is coming November 5th) so I'm not sure about that.
Not sure what else we're doing but I plan on "spreading the word" myself and sending out a few e-mails, note on my blog, etc.
Can't wait to see the other ideas!

Re: Every Baby has a Story Bus
Karen~ I did mean Farmer's Insurance!! (A friend owns Farmer's Furniture---sorry!) Thanks for the info. about how to get the donations made....I was hoping it was from anywhere since I was 2 hours away from the bus when it was here.

Kara -
You know I'll be there! I can help you and Scott with the kids - as mine will be at home!
I'm excited to see how it all turns out - I'm not sure what else is planned for that day either. I know at our house - we got pink nightlights to plug in the outlights outside of our house! They have blue, too - but Leighton insisted on pink.
I've written a letter to the paper - hopefully something will come of that!
Can't believe PAD is here already. Seems like we just did this yesterday.

We "got on the bus" this past weekend here in Houston. It was oodles and oodles of fun! Billy and I both recorded a story so without doing much essentially donated $40 to our fav MOD! The kids enjoyed themselves as well.
Great idea about the nightlights outside for outside the house, Denise.
I'll ask my staff at school to wear pink and blue on PAD. Also, our student body will jump start our MOD Reading Champions program this Thursday. It will run the entire month to raise money. We are hoping to beat our $12,000+ raised from last year. Wish us luck!
