HEllo

Hi I am from Evansville Inidana but very close to Ky ...Henderson KY that is! I really was looking or some mothers in the area. I have three children, One that was a month early weighed 5 lbs 1 oz and spent 12 days in St marys nicu of evansville In. Bryliegh was term...Samuel is my newest...born at 26 weeks weighed 2 lbs spent 78 days in nicu 43 days at Rileys Chilren hospital in Indianapolis and threst at Methodist Hospital in Henderson Ky. I would love to meet other mothers in the area. I am just begginging to get involved with March of Dimes ...I have recently been ask to be an ambassodor family for 08 and am very excited and can't wait to speak!!! Thanks

    Hi Amanda!

    Congrats on the birth of your three miracles! Sounds like you had a rough time with the 3rd. I actually have some family from that area. I am probably a 2.5 hour drive from you. Do you know an OB with the last name Troyer? We should talk! Email me if you would like. My email is aileigh06@bellsouth.net. That is fantastic that you have been selected as the ambassador family!     I am the March of Dimes NICU Family Support Specialist in Kentucky. I am so glad to hear that your 3 little ones are doing well. I am also happy that you are getting involved with the March of Dimes. Our organization is so very fortunate to have such wonderful, dedicated volunteers.     Hello Amanda and welcome to Share!! Congratulations on your three little miracles. Also congrats on being the ambassador family. I am friends with Aimee (from Shelbyville) and also on the NICU Family Support Board with Mary Beth (above). I'm so glad you found Share and thanks for getting involved with the March of Dimes. I hope you find it as fun getting involved as I do.

    HELLO
    MY NAME IS HANNAH.
    MY SON WAS BORN ON NOV. 14TH 05 AT U OF L HOSPITAL.
    HE WEIGHED 1 LB 13 OZ. HE WAS BORN AT 24 WKS GESTATION.
    WE SPENT FOUR MONTHS AT U OF L. i AM HAPPY TO REPORT THAT HE IS DOING WONDERFUL. HE DOES HAVE CHRONIC LUNG DESEASE, AND IS A LITTLE BEHIND IN HIS SPEECH DEVELOPMENT, BUT OTHER THAN THAT HE IS A HEALTHY AVERAGE TWO YEAR OLD.

    Welcome to Share! So glad that you found us. Hopefully you will get some great support here and make some new friends too! It is a wonderful community.
    Boy, four months in the NICU! That must have been very difficult. I am very happy that little Peyton is doing so well now, though.
