Re: NICU Family Support in Louisville!
My son was born at Suburban Hospital three years ago. He was a preemie, six weeks early, and is doing great now. I am almost pregnant now and we plan on having this child at Suburban as well. I was just wondering if there are any March of Dimes events coming up in the Louisville area.
Thanks for any info.

Re: NICU Family Support in Louisville!
Kelly,
Thank you for your interest in upcoming March of Dimes events. We are beginning to gear up for the Louisville WalkAmerica which will be held Saturday, April 7. There are lots of ways to get involved with WalkAmerica, such as helping out on one of our planning committees, forming a Family Team or volunteering the day of. If you would like more information, please feel free to email me at mcamp@marchofdimes.com.
Thanks,
Mary Beth

Hi Everyone!
I am Aimee, mom to a 33 weeker born at Norton Suburban Hospital. He is now 15 months old. I am from Shelbyville which is about 20 minutes from Louisville. I have been on SHARE for almost a year now, but I thought I would post under the KY division in case there are any moms that are local that would like to talk. Email me anytime. I am also a new member of the NICU Family Support team. I look forward to volunteering my time to that. Please don't hesitate to email me with questions or if you just want someone to listen.
Hugs and Love,
Aimee

Hi Amanda!
Congrats on the birth of your three miracles! Sounds like you had a rough time with the 3rd. I actually have some family from that area. I am probably a 2.5 hour drive from you. Do you know an OB with the last name Troyer? We should talk! Email me if you would like. My email is aileigh06@bellsouth.net. That is fantastic that you have been selected as the ambassador family! I am sure you will do the March of Dimes proud! If you ever need anything, let me know!
Hugs and Love,
Aimee

Boy, four months in the NICU! That must have been very difficult. I am very happy that little Peyton is doing so well now, though.
