I have never had a blog before. Somehow I felt like no one would ever read it but I guess that is not really the only point of a blog. In fact, I can't count the number of times I have encouraged other women on this site to start a blog and yet, I never have. Abigail is already 6.5. I can't believe it. She is my baby. She will be my only baby, which is also somedays hard for me to believe. I often wonder why her prematurity will never leave me. I feel like I dwell on it too much but...The other day we were at tennis lessons. The teacher was saying that she was "her little two hander" b/c she is so weak and tiny she needs two hands for her forehand still while the others definitely don't. The teacher was saying it was so nice the other kids didn't make fun of her (she takes lessons with three of her friends). Really, is she that small and different. She grew five inches in the last six months. I thought she was really starting to look better. The teacher didn't mean anything by it. In fact she was being v. positive but I took it so hard and when I saw the look on her dad's face, I could tell he was hurt too. I guess we still have a few miles to go before we rest.
