Proud Mom to Ryan 33 Weeker Now 7, Nick 37 weeker now 4, and Eligh born 01/25/13 full term

Okay you know you have been away from Share too long when you miss the news of Lauren being pregnant!!! Holy cow how did I miss this??? Congrats girl!!! Gotta go figure out how far you are now... Lol!!! I am a horrible friend to my non-facebooking peeps!!!

I guess I will head over to the pregnant and fab section... Tracy you sound like one busy momma these days!

Everyone have a fantabulous father's day!! Love you girls!!!

NathansMom13 - Jun 17, 2012 4:58 pm (#102 Total: 221)

Come to ShareUnion 2012: It's the BEST weekend ever!!!

Augh, I've been so busy lately. Haven't had time to post in forever. Well I have to reschedule T's allergy testing, just found out that N has family picnic day at preschool at the same time as T's allergy testing so I'm rescheduling.

Lauren, I giggled a little at your preggo comment. Can't believe you are already so pregnant. I feel like I just found out!

Jess, how far along are you - how many weeks? So glad you ended up having a fun bbq.

OK, I need to take a nap. Going to a bbq with my in-laws later today inclding the SIL so I need to be on my best, most rested behavior.

Hope all the Share Daddy's are having a great fathers day!

Angel Love - Jun 17, 2012 6:05 pm (#103 Total: 221)

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO OUR SHARE MEN!!

My heart is with those of you who celebrate with kiddos in your heart and not your arms.

Aimee~ Yes, you have been missing for a while! She's getting super close to introducing this little one to the world!! We're glad to have you back though!!

Laura~ I like your napping idea, and yes...you must be at your best for a cookout with inlaws!

Ansley and her dad are off having a great time today. Who knows where they ended up because the list of possibilities continued to grow!! I know that they're going to enjoy a BBQ with friends later this afternoon so...

My plans include homework.......baby steps! Maybe I'll catch a nap in the afternoon hours too. We'll see how the day goes.

Akeelah's Mommy - Jun 17, 2012 11:08 pm (#104 Total: 221)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Jessica- Maybe I should share my centipede story with you.

Laura- Good luck with the SIL, and can I say I laughed out loud at your comment on my blog. You funny honey, I live on a rock.. no a pebble- we have one of everything.. one hospital... one Costco...

Lorena- Ugh, facebook drama... no fun! I cringe to think the bugs in the jungle!

Tracy- Enjoying your nap? I'm assuming you prioritized it.

Lindsay- We might just have to check out the movie. Gonna stalk your blog.

Aimee- You've been missed and seriously momma, I'm still in shock!! That'll be two twin expectin' mommas on Share now! (Liam's Mommy also expecting twins!)

Everyone napping, sans moi, I wish I was a better napper. I'm an awesome vegger... but junky napper. We're going to the outdoor part of the Maui Film Festival tonight... love watching movies under the stars. Should be a good relaxing time.

Angel Love - Jun 18, 2012 12:20 am (#105 Total: 221)

Lauren~ Of course, I prioritized the napping and homework schedule!! I'd have it no other way!

Now is when that "priority" bites me in the butt because Ansley is home and I still haven't finished my homework. Oops!!

Do ya'll ever do things that drive you crazy!? I know that sounds crazy, but seriously....I do things that absolutely drive me insane, but yet, I'm too lazy to fix it. What is wrong with me??

Jackie G - Jun 18, 2012 1:41 pm (#106 Total: 221)

Mom to a 25 weeker who is now 8 years old and a 38.5 weeker who is now 6

Hey Ladies!
How did I possibly miss every post in the cafe so far?!? I know I've read some but guessing I wasn't logged in.

Things here have been crazy but I'm looking forward to life slowing down over the summer. (and finally getting more SYS time!)
Seems like every time I turn around something breaks in our house. Been limping our computer along for a while, had to get a new a/c system last week, and now our drier is broken! I think I'm going to scream!

Hey Ladies! How did I possibly miss every post in the cafe so far?!? I know I've...

Jackie~ I'm pretty sure you need to pack and bag and come stay with me for a while until Brian gets all of that broken stuff fixed!! Mini-vacay!!! It's great to see you here though...I've missed you!!!

Okay---I feel like I might explode! I realized this morning that next week is our last classes for the summer semester. Great huh?? Yeah---except for the fact that I have to finish ALL assignments this week before Sunday because of Ansley's birthday party and birthday next week!!!

I see no naps in my future......

    Akeelah's Mommy - Jun 19, 2012 12:20 am (#108 Total: 221)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Jackie- Howdy momma! Doesn't it just always seem if it's not one thing it's another?!

Tracy- I'm right there with you... this is also I feel my last week to get everything done before there's no more time! I'm actually glad it's still Monday!

Yes, that's right. I'm glad it's still Monday! There is too much to get done this week for it to go by quickly!

    Angel Love - Jun 19, 2012 1:29 am (#109 Total: 221)

Lauren~ Maybe it's because we "check out" of life for part of next week......

"I can't think about that today, I'll think about that tomorrow....tomorrow is another day." (Insert MAJOR accent!!)

Tomorrow is going to be a NO NAP day Gotta get things done and done well. Ugh......I'm gonna miss that nap!

Anyone watching "The Bachelorette"? I liked this dude (Ryan) when he first got there....you know cheering for my GA boy, but he's shown his true colors and I'm so happy for her decision!!! (Sorry if I just ruined it for those of you who TiVo! )

I need a dog sitter while we're on vacation. Anyone want to keep my sweet boy for the week?? The friend who kept him last summer can't because her house is listed with a realtor and she doesn't want to run the risk of having to show the house and it not being spotless. (Yeah--polar opposite of me! )

    Akeelah's Mommy - Jun 19, 2012 1:45 pm (#110 Total: 221)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Tracy- Totally, we're checking out and checking in to the Hyatt! Thank you baby girl!

Seriously, why at 2:30 in the morning did the dog decide to come in an puke on the floor right next to me. Run of the whole house... has to puke on the floor riiiiiiight next to me. I'm evicted out of my own room to the living room couch because while the smell has been replaced by Resolve and cleaning supplies... it's still gross!

    Angel Love - Jun 19, 2012 4:14 pm (#111 Total: 221)

Lauren~ Ugh.....I feel your pain. That's the time that Tibbles like to get sick too. Really??? All day and nothing until 2 a.m.??

Okay---so slept later than I meant to. Not all together bad because hey--I must have needed the rest. Anyway, nothing is getting done. I have been reading a book that I have to complete for a presentation for next week so that's good, but....you know how that feels.

Also got news from another professor that he's good with my "double dipping" and using resources from my research to complete his assignment! Yes!!!!!!

Ansley has cheer camp this afternoon so hopefully I can get some things accomplished while there are no interruptions.

    Donna??? Where are you???????

Lauren-Double ick! I can't clean up that stuff without gagging and puking myself! I feel your pain...

Tracy-Yay for the good news!!! Hoping you can get things accomplished while Ansley is at camp! A nap sounds sooooo good right about now! Too bad I still have 4.5 hours of work!

    Well Happy belated birthday Donna!

Tracy- I'm right there with you... should be leaving for work now....

Lauren - Checking into a hotel sounds good:) Sorry the dog got sick in the wee hours of the morning. Bummer for hubby (clean-up).

Aimee - How are you doing?

    Donna - Happy Belated Birthday!

Tracy - Yay that you get to use some of the same resources! Hey, why not, right? Your good to get permission though just in case.

We are in Day 2 of summer camp for Mr. T and it's going well:) Took him to his FIRST baseball game last night and he did GREAT! So, did the D-backs, they WON! He was happy eating his R's (Rasinets) and of course I was sure to make them last. He was happy clapping along and looking at the big screen. We were upper level nose bleeds section ($2 tickets for teachers), but right behind home plate. Last night was a big deal for us:)

Sweet picture Lindsay! I hope you're keeping a journal to capture these wonderful days- especially for T.

Came home to someone's BBQ chicken crock pot recipe... and I had forgotten I started it, so it was a doubly special surprise! Smells delicious!

    stacyat - Jun 20, 2012 3:51 am (#117 Total: 221)

Mom to Emilyn and Hailey (our 20 week angels) and Elim (our 38 week, full term miracle)!

Lauren: Lol, it's as if these kiddos were brought up on islands with all the water love! Oh wait....

Jackie: Ugh on all the stuff breaking! Makes me kinda glad that we're renting. Though my dryer did smell kinda funky last night, think some lint was trapped somewhere and went away when I vacuumed part of it up.

Lindsay: Aww, looks like a fun family trip, love it!!

So stinkin' excited! Our new pastor's wife invited me to this "single parents" retreat this weekend at the campground, it includes deployed military spouses too. They have people to watch the kids while the moms or dads hang out and do our own thing. Even people to watch the babies at night and make sure they're sleeping. Ha, like Elim's gonna go down for anyone but me, he'd scream bloody murder if anyone else picked him up in the middle of the night!

    NathansMom13 - Jun 20, 2012 5:49 am (#118 Total: 221)

Come to ShareUnion 2012: It's the BEST weekend ever!!!

Stacy, that retreat sounds like so much fun. Maybe Elim will surprise you!

Tracy, want me to come get you organized? You know I love to label things and don't get me started on spreadsheets

I'm at work, it's 1:30am and I'm falling asleep... It's going to be a loooooong night

    KHolley - Jun 20, 2012 11:54 am (#119 Total: 221)

Stacy-I hope you have a great time at the retreat!

    Laura-Wake up!!!!

Lauren-Dogs have the worst timing! I think I would have thrown up right next to the dog!

Lindsay-Great picture, glad everything went well at the game!

Alex is at Sea Turtle Camp this week at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, yep, the home of the famous Winter the Dolphin! I have never seen her happier, she even gets to go snorkeling all week during camp! I told my husband that we feed into her obsession with animals! I'm okay with it, it makes her happy!!!!

    Akeelah's Mommy - Jun 20, 2012 6:12 pm (#120 Total: 221)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Laura- Oy, I don't think I could ever do an overnight shift.. unless they were paying me to sleep on the job.

Stacy- Retreat sounds nice- how are you doin' sans Charles? I can't even imagine.

Katie- We've got an animal lover over here too... I can think of worse things for them to be into.

    I can't believe it's already Wednesday!

    Angel Love - Jun 20, 2012 7:55 pm (#121 Total: 221)

Lauren~ Me either.....! Wasn't it just a few minutes ago that we were posting that we were happy it was Monday because of our long to-do lists???

Stacy~ That sounds fun!! They'll probably be like the baby whisperer or something.... My luck, they'd be able to get all of the kids to do better than I get them to do!

Laura~ I'm not envying you at all! Can't keep my eyes open on regular work schedule, much less a night shift!

Lindsay~ Fun!!! I love baseball games!!

Katie~ I'm sure marine biologists get paid pretty nicely too. You're looking at a good nursing home when you're older!!!

Today's Ansley's last day of cheer camp and they do a mini exhibition of their "skills" at the end of the session. She's super excited for me to see what she's been working on, and Yay--I'm done with the dentist in plenty of time to do just that!!

    liz loschinskey - Jun 20, 2012 8:27 pm (#122 Total: 221)

    I love my kids!

    I didn't read anything, I'm sorry. I will.

    Just know.

    It's. So. Hot.

98 according to the news, 104 according to the car. Blah.

    bbl...

    KHolley - Jun 20, 2012 9:33 pm (#123 Total: 221)

Tracy-I was at the dentist on Monday and all I could think of was our discussion every year between which yearly appointment is better!!! I bet Ansley looks so cute cheering!

Liz-Holy hot!!! It is rainy here, so it is staying in the 80's.

Lauren-This week is flying for some reason! We leave Monday for our annual RV trip!

Just got news that 98 degrees is reuniting and will be performing at the big concert that I am going to in August! Boy band mania, I am going to be in heaven!!!!

    lvazquez - Jun 20, 2012 11:07 pm (#124 Total: 221)

Mom to Donovyn (32 weeker), Tristyn (34 weeker), and Naethyn (30 weeker born sleeping)

Katie - Have fun on your RV trip! That movie has been on a lot recently too:) The boy bands concert sounds like fun!

Liz - Although we don't have a lot of humidity, just know that I UNDERSTAND:) Nothing like an ice pack in your lap while driving around!

Tracy - I bet she had a good time at cheer camp:)

Stacy - That could be an interesting time out. Is it far from your place? I know about those repairs. Our A/C unit needs some repairs to avoid replacing the whole thing. Just waiting for the cc statement to close to space this stuff out:)

    Angel Love - Jun 21, 2012 2:19 am (#125 Total: 221)

Liz~ Boo for mega heat!! It's hot down here too and super humid, but it's par for the course!

Katie~ You and your boy bands!!! Where is the RV heading this summer?? I'm sure you're coming near me when I'm out of town. Text me and I'll tell you about another Share momma that will be moving to the ATL soon.

Ansley had a great time at cheer camp and did well with her exhibition!! Love watching all of the little uncoordinated girls out there!! She also started a thing for the summer at our church called W.O.W. (Wild On Wednesday). The best way I can describe it is Field Day on Crack!! It's crazy, but super fun for anyone who participates!

Finished my three tests that are due tomorrow at midnight!! Yep--you heard right, I DID SOMETHING AHEAD OF TIME!! Only 7 more assignments to finish between now and Sunday!

    stacyat - Jun 21, 2012 2:30 am (#126 Total: 221)

Mom to Emilyn and Hailey (our 20 week angels) and Elim (our 38 week, full term miracle)!

Katie: Love that Alex is having such a blast at camp, can you adopt me so I can go?

Lauren: I'm doing ok! It's hard keeping up with the house and stuff without the extra help at night and with dinner but eh, whatever, it'll be clean eventually.

Tracy: Aww, yay, I bet that was fun seeing all that she's learned! Look at you doing stuff all ahead of time!

Lindsay: It's about two and a half hours or so from here!

Ugh, so Elim's had another molar pop through today. Since the 13th he's had three pop through, two molars and a front and a third molar is still working it's way through. I'm hoping the way he went to bed isn't an indication of how the night is going to go, if so it's not gonna be pretty.

    Angel Love - Jun 21, 2012 3:13 pm (#127 Total: 221)

Stacy~ Lots of teeth at the same time!! Reframe: He'll have his in soon if they all come in at the same time!! Ansley always cut at least two teeth at a time. The only downside to that was that she also lost two at a time....hee,hee!!

Okay---someone tell me what fun thing is going on that I'm missing!! There's usually a ton of chatter going on in the cafe, but it's been quiet since I'm able to be on more. (I usually only have one post to catch up on...)

Back to my to-do list! (Maybe that's where everyone is... )

    NathansMom13 - Jun 21, 2012 7:49 pm (#128 Total: 221)

Come to ShareUnion 2012: It's the BEST weekend ever!!!

Katie, I can't believe 98 degrees is going to be at that concert and I can't go! Ugh... I miss all the good concerts.

Sorry, I am completley distracted by missing out on 98 degrees and can't remember anything anyone else said.

Nathan just asked me if I'm having a bad day... it's 98 and we have no a/c, I've worked nights the last 2 nights in a row (that means I've gotten about 6 hours of sleep total over the last two days) and I have to work again tonight... he's pretty observant. But I did tell him Mommy would try to take a nap and then have a better day, we're all now in our rooms napping.

    Arnara - Jun 21, 2012 9:52 pm (#129 Total: 221)

Stacy: Poor dear Elim, hope he had a good night..... that parent retirement sounds great, but I am not so sure about leaving kids over night.... it is good to listen that you are doing fine.....

Tracy: Wow! you impressed me already done with all that....

Lauren: ugh! I can't stand puke, glad your hubby was there to clean up the mess

Jackie; Glad to see you here, so sorry to read all the things broken in your house, when it rains it pours doesn't it..... tell me about it, I can't find someone to come fix my stove, the one that came said he will be back and I had been waiting for him for months......

Katie: Glad Alex is enjoying her summer camp....

Laura; hope your shifts change soon, so sweet of Nathan and Trevor to nap with you.....

Lindsay: great picture! So glad you had a great time spending so little, that is smart.... Hopefully we hit the movies tonight for Madagascar 3, I must confess I am not huge fan of cartoons.....

Liz; well you should enjoy the nice weather.....

So regular 6 months visit to the dentist with the kids was awful.... S had a molar that from some days now I had seen it had a different color, so I asked to move the appointment for this week, yep he had broken it, don't ask me how, a big piece of it, so Dr. said that he could not do anything with it, and since it was already little loose it was best to take it off... I almost fainted there, I am so scare of dentist..... S started crying, Dr. cheered him up, he said it was a piece of cake, so I grab his hand and he put some pain reliever, and took it off.....ugh! awful! after that S was laughing and saying it was easy... I need a glass of vine right there, then it was miss V turn..... she had some molars sealed.... and dentist assistant must have had day off or something since I was there helping the dentist.... And I felt like I was in the torture chamber......

    Happy Thursday....

    Lorena

Lorena-I am so sorry for the horrible dentist visit. Glad it's over!

Laura-I am still sad you can't go, my heart is broken!

Tracy-I am busy down at the beach with Alex's camp. It is a 30 minute drive, so I have to spend the day down there. I know...tough life!

    Angel Love - Jun 22, 2012 3:38 pm (#132 Total: 221)

Oh Katie....I'm feeling sorry for you..... Really, I would be feeling sorry for you if you're like me and have 100 other things to do.

Lorena~ Ugh!! Sorry for the dentist visit! Yuck on having issues with S.'s teeth, but I'm glad he thought it was easy and the dentist was able to put him at ease.

Laura~ No A/C??? Want me to ship you one?? I had to do that with some friends who moved from GA to Ohio a few years back. They couldn't find one anywhere so we shipped one from down south cause you KNOW we have A/C!!!!

Okay---4 things marked off my list of homework to-dos and only 3 big things to do.

Mom to Donovyn (32 weeker), Tristyn (34 weeker), and Naethyn (30 weeker born sleeping)

Tracy - So awesome that you are movin' and groovin' on your assignments. More time to PLAY:)

Lorena - I've definitely seen more cartoon/animated movies as an adult than I ever did as a kid. I think you'll like Madagascar 3 though:) Sorry about the molars and dental stuff. I hope they gave you extra candies for helping out. I would need a drink after all of that too:)

Katie - I bet you are having such a good time down there:)

Laura - Sorry for the no A/C. Hoping that you are finding ways to stay cool.

Therapies . . . OT and PT are working out, ST is a different story. I had hubby sit in on this last session and I vacated with D. Long story short, we're on the hunt for a new provider and may have found one who can do early Saturday mornings. We're early risers, so that will work. With full-day Kinder, I think weekly 2-hour hab is going to be enough and maybe pushing it at that.

    Jackie G - Jun 22, 2012 7:44 pm (#134 Total: 221)

Mom to a 25 weeker who is now 8 years old and a 38.5 weeker who is now 6

Lorena - Matt had a tooth pulled about a year ago. It was MUCH harder on me than it was on him. In fact the next visit he asked if he could get another one pulled so the toothfairy would come again.

Tracy - In the grand scheme of things, this is a blip on the radar. You'll get it all done and show Ansley how hard you work!

    Katie - So jealous....

Laura - Having no A/C stinks! Hope you can get it fixed soon.

Having a decent day today. Kids haven't been fighting as much which is good. My nephew's birthday party is later today so they are excited about that. I just wish I could take a nap beforehand!

    stacyat - Jun 22, 2012 7:57 pm (#135 Total: 221)

Mom to Emilyn and Hailey (our 20 week angels) and Elim (our 38 week, full term miracle)!

Tracy: Yep, I'd much rather them come in all at once for him than one at a time, less time that he's in pain that way.

Lorena: Oh, they'll be in the room with us, just someone is supposed to come around to get them back to sleep if they wake up. But yeah, I never slept even when Charles was trying to get him back down so might as well do it myself. Ugh, bummer on the involved dental appointment, glad that S thought it wasn't so bad!

Liz: Wishing you some cooler weather!

Lindsay: Ugh on the ST not really working out, I'm sure it's hard to find a good provider! If you lived in Oklahoma I could give you a really good recommendation, my cousin does it and LOVES what she does so I'm sure she's amazing!

Jackie: Ugh, wish I could've had a nap here too, but no dice!

Poor bubba is just gnawing away at his hands even with motrin in his system. I hope they poke all the way through soon! We're all packed up and ready to go! I'm still debating when we're gonna leave. It's an hour and a half drive to where I'm planning on stopping for dinner, problem is it's about another 45 minutes to hour past that to camp and we gotta be there about 6:30. 5:30 is a really early dinner for us and we'll be starving by bedtime! Good thing I've got granola bars packed....

    Angel Love - Jun 22, 2012 8:50 pm (#136 Total: 221)

Stacy~ On the road again..... Good luck on the timing issue. It's always a game when you're on the road with little ones.

Lindsay~ Early risers??? Definately not an adjective to describe us. We enjoy our sleep!! Today Ansley slept in until 11:35!! And I let her!!!

Jackie~ Yay for kids not fighting so much. That always makes a difference!

Today, I felt like I'd knocked out several items on the homework list so I took Ansley swimming for a couple of hours this afternoon. Um....never make a deal with a 9 year old about swimming and getting out the first time.....it never works! Anyway, we're back home in the A/C now with showers all done!

    Now back to work!

Tracy - Sometimes kiddos just need their zzz's. D sleeps in another half hour or so on summer break. He'd probably sleep longer if his younger bro wasn't up. Coffee pot is still programmed for 5:30 a.m. The coffee is for us, not T:)
Yay you for just two more courses!

Jackie - Hope you guys have a nice time at the party! Lots of parties happening in your neighborhood. My kids haven't lost any or had any teeth pulled yet. I have a feeling the pulling might be coming at the next visit in July:(

Stacy - Drive safe and have a great time! Yeah, I've left out the reason(s) for our new search for a new ST provider. I'm hoping I've found a good replacement. She's close by and can do in-home.

Hey, gas prices are coming down! Thank goodness!

Stacy - Good luck with the trip!

Lindsay - You are off for the summer right? Why are you getting up at 5:30 - That's crazy!

We are trying to work out a way to get me a new car (ok a new used car or a new lease) and I feel like everytime we get close, it slips away. So frustrating. I'm trying not to get too excited but now that we are really considering doing it, I'm anxious!

Liz - Thanks for the heads up:)

The kids are ready for the pool, but I'm trying to hold off until 9 a.m. for the neighbors' sake. Ah, they're mostly retired anyway and probably up at 4 a.m. I shouldn't worry.

Lindsay~ LOL!!! You're so right....retirees like to get up early don't they!? My neighbors are retirees and they enjoying cutting their grass bright and early. Usually it's only once every now and again, but since it's so hot, they're doing it in sections and it's been several days!

Picked up Ansley's cake today....super cute!!

Only one more paper to complete and a few tweaks until I'm done with school assignments!! Whoop! Whoop!!

Tracy - Hoping your stack of TO DO assignments is dwindling and you and Ansley are having a relaxing day.

Stacy - Hope everything is going well for you at your stay away.

I have been going through more piles of papers. I'm recycling and reminding myself to keep just (1) copy of the worksheets I discover. It's not that it's hard to make a quiz, it's just that when it's crunch time, you wish you had that one quiz on a half sheet ready to go. Anyways, I can see the carpet again in my bedroom:)

    Aahhhhhhh.....!!!!

Party is over, most of school work is done and I'm EXHAUSTED!!!

I have no idea how many people were there, but a great number of my friends, Ansley's friends, and her dad's friends, along with family members were in attendance today to celebrate this sweet little girl's birthday. (Which might I mention is NOT even here yet!!)

The weather was beautiful and a quick rain shower and a few claps of thunder ended the party like it does every year!! I'll blog about it tomorrow----if I have a moment to breathe.

We had a blast! I went climbing a rock wall and swinging on a four story up swing while Elim played with one of the ladies assigned to him! We also went to the lake and played around, had a church service at a beautiful spot overlooking the lake, made s'mores and I went to a couple of breakout sessions with the pastor that was helping lead the retreat. SO much fun! I may go next year but as one of the people who watch the kids, and enlist my mom's help as well to watch Elim unless I'm stashing a basketball under my shirt......

Stacy - that sounds like fun! It's so nice to make sure the families left behind when a parent is deployed don't get forgotten.

Tracy - Glad the party went well. Does that mean you have nap time available again?

Lauren - I want another Town and Country Minivan. I love the one I have now (8 years old) but I'd love a newer one now that they've made it even nicer. But we'll see what happens.

Lots to do today. I'm supposed to be cleaning but obviously, I'm not. Then I have a drs appt, errands, laundry, etc. At least the kids are at Grandma's so I'll get a lot done (if I can get off the computer!)

Jackie: I should be cleaning too, I've got people coming over tomorrow night! But yeah, here I am catching up on share. Priorities, right?

Lindsay: Just touchup? Better than having to pain the whole room I guess but still, blah!

I'm so exhausted! After the long weekend and Elim not sleeping well again last night (stupid molars) I had to get up early to go drop my car off to get the hail damage fixed, hoping they throw in the door dings for not too much extra.

Yeah, just some touch ups to give it that fresh feel. There was a deal at Sherwin-Williams awhile ago and we stocked up on some flat paint. It's one of the items on our summer do list.

Hope the new ST is what you are looking for!
And may I highly recommend the Chrysler Town and Country over the Sienna? Living in Detroit, I've learned so much about how important it is to buy American when our economy is struggling so much! (Ok, off my soapbox )

I also love my Town & Country, I especially love that I can open both side doors and the back from my keys. Makes it easy to get both boys in the car in the rain!

Happy 4th birthday to Akeelah! (Just to make sure you see it!) Hope you have a wonderful week honoring her memory.

Lindsay - Resale is probably not as good as a Toyota because everyone has the mindset that Toyota is the best out there. However, the Big 3 have improved quality *immensely* and are almost neck and neck with them now. Besides the power doors, I also love the stow-n-go in my T&C. We're do it yourselfers and We can fit an 8 ft sheet of plywood in the back when the seats are down. The base Town and Country has many of the same options as the top levels of the Sienna (from what I understand). For example in 2012 all Town and Countries have leather and DVD standard. My kids are pysched about having a DVD player in the car!

I can't seem to remember much these days, my brain is over exhausted, I keep dreaming of those work papers, and I just arrive home exhausted..... almost dragging my briefcase.....

mmm..... seems like Laura & Jackie are doing free publicity for Chrysler, I hope you girls get pay for that, or at least a little card for Mother's day......wow Jackie how many cylinders and horsepower does this mini van has??? my kids are also crazy for the DVD and I love my hands free Parrot of my car.......

Tracy: Happy Birthday for Taylor and Ansley, glad to hear that Ansley had a great Bday party......well done girl, you are almost over with school.....

Lauren; Happy Happy Heaven Birthday for Akaleah.... I truly hope you are enjoying your family mini vacation, hugs to you.... and I am keeping my eyes for you here... 34 weeks now ugh? I had to laugh about the drunk calls, and remembered an embarrassing moment years ago..... I had little over cups and I called my best friend...... in Canada!

    Liz: How are you doing??

    Donna: Where are you??

Katie: hope you are enjoying your trip......

Lindsay: Glad to hear you found a good ST for Mr. T, how is summer camp going??? mmm... painting my house is not in my vacation/summer list, I prefer to do that when kids are in school.....

Stacy: so glad to hear you and Mr. Elim had a great time at that religious event, and you are back safe and sound. Hope Elim is feeling much better with his molars..... what are your plans for the summer????

work is little over, and I have not seen any pay check..... ..... I know I was going to be pay little, but at least I was hoping to work for something.....

My kids are on their 2 weeks vacation time, not much done here, just that we have been playing that wii resort game, the 4 of us, is so funny to watch miss V, she just grab the remote control even if it is not working and she swears she is doing the things, and she laughs so hard.... so funny.....it has been impossible to go to the movies, seems like everyone is on vacation..... I hope to take miss V to the zoo if there is a nice weather......

    Happy Tuesday everyone....

Lauren: sorry for the misspelling... I mean Akeelah.... so sorry....

I forgot to comment I read an article in The New York's Time, this Sunday. The title was "Would you give drugs to your kids? " so it got my eye..... my hair stand up, and I have now several doubts and questions on my mind..... it states that ADHD medicines, are category 2 of drugs, in the same groups as morphine and cocaine, an as addictive, and the study talked about how much "prescribe drugs" are in school these days, and even some kids that don't need them are receiving them..... an some kids are using them intentionally to get better grades to enter a college..... not a good reading it seems.....

I didn't see that article, but I had heard of high school/college students taking ADHD meds to stay awake in order to study. Sounds like some fun family time playing the Wii. Hope you get some decent weather your way to take Miss V to the Zoo:)

Some folks sure are passionate about their vehicles. I just need something that will take me from A to B. That's about as far as I'm traveling right now. However, I do dream often of that new car smell . . . aaaahhhh . . . Summer camp is going well. Mr. T is learning more songs and is happy to go:) That definitely makes it easier to drop him off in the morning. They are doing different countries each week in prep for the Olympics and right now it's Deutschland:) Too cute!

Stacy - way to go with the water heater! Seems like everything that breaks around here is not an easy fix.

Jackie - Yay! I bet it's really cool inside and smells new car fresh!

    Tracy - HUGS!

Katie - Lots of water down there. Glad to hear your place is dry.

Stacy - Good that you had some hot water for that shower and got some better sleep.

Plumber didn't find anything major yesterday. I'm relieved! I guess we got a good water heater nine years ago. We're not using as much hot water in the summer months obviously. Keeping it cheap people, keeping it cheap.

Oh...Jackie!!! A new car!!! I love a new car!!! (not so much the payments, but a new car)

I'll speak for Katie---the flooding was in FL...NOT where she is now..... I can say that, cause she's not far from me right now!!

Stacy~ Cold showers!! Not fun!!! Well....unless you're on the beach and just rinsing sand away! Yay for better sleep too!

Can ya'll see me doing the happy dance??? I'm done with school!!! I'm done with school!!!! I'm done with school!!!!! Technically, one of my professors could pull that rug out from under me by making me take a final due by midnight, but he said that if we had an overall average of 97 or higher that he wouldn't make us take the final. Last week we did.....no word from him today so I think we're clear!!!

Okay--house is a wreck, laundry to be done, and decisions, decisions on an upcoming vacation. Okay---let's get real, I'm more worried about my dog behaving for his sitter than what I'm going to pack!

Come to ShareUnion 2012: It's the BEST weekend ever!!!

Augh - it's been a busy few days for us. Yesterday Matt's dad had major surgery, it went really well but we were all at the hospital for 10 hours by the time we were finally leaving. I came home and convinced nathan to put his pajamas on (it wasn't even 5pm yet) and watch cartoons from bed with me: Mother of the Year!!! At one point I feel asleep and he woke me up by opening my eye and asking why I had my eyes closed

Katie, so glad you escaped the flooding!

Jackie, I'm a little jealous that all the T&C now come with DVD standard, we bought one year too early for that. We had one put in though and the boys LOVE it for long car rides. I also love the stow&go - it's a good place to store kid stuff.

Stacy, so glad you're all caught up on sleep. It's always nice when they let us sleep in.

Ugh, I had more but the boys are resting and I now hear little feet upstairs. Better go check it out....

Hi people!! How I've missed you guys!! Why did I ever think summer would settle life down? Ugh!! I won't even try to promise I'll be here more. Dance isn't ending this year, and neither is soccer. And we leave next Friday for Yellowstone, BUT I have been able to hang out with Mrs. Lesh the past couple days. Loving it!

What's going on with everyone? What have I missed? Are ya'll still speaking to me? lol

Update from Lauren: At her NST today her uterus was all sorts of showing out and having contractions and her BP was high too so she's won at least an overnight stay over on Oahu for monitoring. Her cervix is unchanged even with the contractions. She can't update herself because her phone is about dead and doesn't have her charger since she wasn't planning on staying! Give her some good no June baby whammies!

We went out to dinner tonight, it was a disaster! Took forever for her to take our order, and to bring us our drinks. Four of us ordered the same thing, and the last something different. When she brought it out there were for of that different thing Katie ordered and none of what the four of us actually ordered. They finally put a rush on it and got the food out to us but by the end of the meal it was two hours after we arrived!! They cut the bill in half for us at least.

Ugh, Over 50 posts since the last time I was here....*hangs head in shame*

Tori, Tori, Tori....You know, when you get discharged from pulmonary, I ASSumed all was well. Until, the last week of Ozone action days, where the heat and humidity finally did Tori in. Suprisingly, after saying I want a pulse ox done on my kid, the ER took her immediatly. "She's not breathing right, she can't get enough air", I repeatidly told the nurse. A breathing treatment later, she was fine. Another script of albuterol for her nebulizer, and she's still coughing, wheezing, snot-face.

It's very hard to explain to a 2.5yr old why she can't go outside.

I hope you guys are doing good/great. I hope all the pregnant bellies are still on target for 39+ weeks. I love and miss yinz'!

Donna, you made me laugh. Braving it camping--IN AN RV! 3 days in a tent will do you some good....At least that's what I tell myself when camping.

Lauren, what did I miss? Why are you twiddling and is baby belly okay? Ugh, I need to go catch up on you.

Lindsay, as embarrassing as it is to say, this belly fat is what repulsed me to start doing something about it. I can't stand being fat! I can't stand my granny arms! I'm halfway to my first goal. I have to do this for me and my lovely child that I can barely keep up with. Dude, that is embarrassing.

DH has been home, due to work and he literally cleaned the whole middle floor of the house. WOWSA'S! And stayed home with T while I went to the gym.

I have a question for you...If you knew you didn't have the money to get your family to Disney for SU, would you as the individual, still go? Seriously think about that. It's Disney! I want my dh and Miss. T to meet Mickey. I think I would feel horrible leaving them home and going to SU. Input, Please.

An RV is roughing it in my world. Have I mentioned how much I hate/detest bugs and dirt? I do not sleep....at all...when we are in the tent. You know that saying "happy wife, happy life"? Well, when we tent camp, I am so not happy. I will suck it up for my kiddos and hubby.

Liz - I'd totally go without the DH and Miss T. We rarely see the outside of the hotel during SU anyways, so they'd be at the park without you, truth be told.

Lorena - I'm a huge fan of iced coffees as well.

Laura - With all the heat you guys are getting, I'd be camped out in the a/c house too. I can't believe houses come without central heat and air anymore. Must be a CA thing that you really have to look to find one without that. Get some rest!
