Stacy: Sorry about your open house. I hope that you have a safe drive and a good trip out to see your grandma's house. I know that's not an easy thing to do. Memories . . .
Jackie: That's really neat! Glad hubby is home safely. Yay, t-ball. Yeah, three practices is a lot. I know, the kids had never seen snow before, so it was fun for them. You don't expect to hit snow driving home from sunny San Diego.
Tracy: Hope you get your paper typed w/out too many distractions. What is this degree/certification you're working on again? I would so come and help you if I lived closer. I kind of like to clean. Ha, I could be the "French Maid!"
Liz: How's your Monday going?
Lauren: Does Micah know what's going on inside your belly?

Howdy all!! I'm back safely from NOLA, although I think it's going to take a month to recover. There was not much sleep, and too much of everything else, but oh boy, how fun!!
Stacy - Safe travels to you guys. Teething? Seriously? And boo on people not showing up to your open house.
Lauren - lol on the Dog the Bounty Hunter. I can just picture it.
Lindsay - two ships that passed. Bummed I wasn't here in SD while you guys were, but I'll be out your way in a couple of weeks visiting my parents. They were calling the storm we had over the weekend the "storm of the century".
Jackie - CRAZINESS!! Glad Brian is home safely, but whew. Rough one for you.
Tracy - Happy paper-writing! Sounds like you took lessons from me for your weekend. BUSY!
Sorry...I've forgotten everything else. Where's Lorena?
In full dragon-birthday-party-prep mode. Little man turns 8 this coming Sunday. I think I'm kinda going a little overboard with this party, but I can't seem to help myself.

Donna~ Glad you had a great time on your vacation!! I felt like you were "close" to me while you were there....only 3 states away instead of all of them!!! Lauren~ I forgot to shout out to you about the yard sale!! Lindsay~ Any time you want another vacation....come on over and clean girl!!! You'd laugh at me if you ever saw this place. It's mostly clutter anyway....not dirty. I'm just too lazy to put stuff away, and don't necessarily make Ansley do it either. The degree that I'm currently working on is my Specialist Degree in Teacher Leadership. I'll be done in December and will definately be CELEBRATING!!!! Papers are typed for tomorrow and I have one more due by Thursday. Hopefully that one won't be too challenging.....we'll see. Those seem to be the ones that catch me every time! Anyone heard from Katie lately??? I was wondering how her tan is looking......

So who watched American Chopper tonight? What a beautiful bike to benefit babies! If anyone wants tickets for the raffle email me, I can sell them to you - finally a benefit to being from Michigan! LOL
And any tickets I sell get credited to my MFB team. Plus, if you win, I'll come to your place for a ride... I can't win it, but nobody said I can't ride it!

Jackie - Didn't see AC but heard all about it. Very cool!!!

Donna: I know you probably do the drive often, so yeah, it was crazy weather in S.D. I guess on Saturday, people couldn't get through unless they had chains! We didn't have 'em and left Sunday and just hoped all would be okay. At least my kiddos got to see real snow:)
It sounds like you had a good time in NOLA and are catching up on some shut eye.
Jackie: Darn, I missed it:( That's awesome though. I wondered if and when they'd do a bike for babies.
Liz: Seems like a lot of gals are having unseasonably strange/hot weather in their neck of the woods too. Crazy!
Shannon: Wow, 80 degrees? That should be the temp here in Phx. I was expecting more rain, but it didn't happen. I should probably turn my watering system back on.
Tracy: There's so much to do and see in Atlanta, I just might have to:)
Stacy: Glad that you made it safely there.
Jumpstart program this morning, FTC meeting tonight, school fundraiser tonight (Chik Fil-A - not really a fan), Jumpstart Thursday, two parent/teacher conferences on Thursday . . . why didn't I pick up any alcohol at the grocery store yesterday? Got to go back . . . Cheaper to medicate the parents:)

Though since I won't be climbing any mountains (literal ones anyway) soon... probably not gonna run into them. Unless they power shop like I do when I'm there. Donna- No nap. Bummer. Maybe next year. Jackie- Yeah... I mean seriously, I have no idea how we compete. We're like um... I dunno.. lil' birth mark shapes or something... Redamax is down in New Buffalo I think... deeeelish. Okay then Lauren - this one's easy...
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/4 cup of buffalo wing sauce (I used Franks)
2/3 cup of water
blue cheese dressing
dinner rolls (or regular buns)
Put the breasts in the crockpot. Mix the 1/4 cup wing sauce and 2/3 cup of water and add that. Low for 8 hours or high for 6 hours. Shred up the chicken. Put it on the buns and top with more sauce and the dressing. Super duper yum.
So jealous...love that aquarium!!!

not sure Lauren....dont think they said...it was incredibly beautiful wherever they were. There was like nothing around them but green mountains...unreal how beautiful.
I dont know Donna...think I am the only one in the world who stinks at crock pot cooking. I could whip up a huge dinner in the oven but give me a crockpot recipe and I totally flop....you know I cant NOT lift the lid....its like telling a kid not to touch something....my curiosity always gets the best of me.
I was thinkng of you the other day...did you see the picture of the girl on pinterest who put a months worth of crockpot recipes together and froze them? TOtally up your ally. She got gallon size freezer zip locks and put all the incregients, veggies and meats all together in one bag...froze it and when ready just popped it in the pot....awesome time saver.

Hi girls,
Just a quick check in. I think I've been MIA way too long -- life is crazy busy right now with work, MOD walk stuff, other professional volunteer stuff, etc. So -- please forgive me that I don't remember one iota of what i've read.
Had a nice trip to sunny florida -- celebrating Kaelin's 3rd birthday ... and Kelsey's foray into her six months. Tough coming home though -- Kaelin is having a rough time missing her daddy. She sobbed and sobbed the first night home. And since then -- I've dealt with meltdowns, mouthiness and bad listening skills. ugh. Eleven more days till Dan comes home -- can't come soon enough! Then again -- i'm sure a whole host of other issues will come back into play since she has him wrapped around her finger.
Kaelin told me I was mean last night. Stabbed me in the heart, you know, to hear that. I had raised my voice with her pretty loudly while I was trying to get Kelsey to bed. Kaelin is so disruptive and won't stay in the living room while I take the baby back to nurse and put down. This is EVERY night since we got home -- meaning the bedtime process for both girls last about 2+ hours. Ugh. After i cuddled with her and explained why I yelled at her ... she then told me i wasn't mean. Such drama.
hope everyone's well. lovin' our 80 degree weather -- just the same as we had down south!

Beautiful pictures Erin!! Ugh.....bedtime routines. Makes me tired just thinking about it. Maybe a special book or toy for Kaelin for just that time? I struggled with this with Ry and G when I would be putting E to bed. Hang in there!!
Laura - I so wish I could be that organized, and have the freezer space, and a second crock pot. And I do lift the lid....gotta stir stuff up. I think the trick I've learned is to put the chicken in there frozen. The juices and water help keep it moist then.
Lauren - totally lol on the "kinda crummy weather" clarification. Could apply here as well. Sigh....I need me some Maui time right now.
Survived another field trip, this one with fourth grade. Went to see Mainly Mozart. I loved it. The kids...some were good, some were not.

Jessica: I think you are not the only one..... you can add me in the category.... but it is because I am scare to leave an electric thing on while I am gone...... But that woman with the great freezer must have an awful day cooking ALL that stuff....So how is the moving going.....
Donna: I also thought of you today, while I was cooking my MIL Italian red sauce..... you can freeze it and use it with lasagne, pasta, pizza..... all you want...... it can be easily done in a crock pot......
Lauren: I love the aquariums, and don't know why my children also...... We don't have one here, just big decorative fish bowls at the malls .... V loves them.... specially Nemo.....
Erin: Poor dear Kaelin.... it happens the same here, I am always the bad one.... miss V always cries for her daddy when I have to wash teeth, take to doctor, dress up, wake up, bed time..... Lovely pictures.....
So I went to dr. yesterday, because of miss V sporadic rash, and the diagnosis: atopic dermatitis....... or extremely sensitive skin..... so he gave me a list of all the things she can not use..... I have to change everything here from her bath soap to the detergent, and all the "no" list I have to memorize....... hopefully she will outgrow it when she is 12 or 13........ So another thing to my list.........
So today S has no homework.......wooohoooo.... free afternoon, I think I am going to watch some TV...... and rest my feet..... I have soooo many things to do but I am not in the mood.........
Good afternoon.....

Lorena: Looks like you had a nice WE too:) Your kiddos sure are getting taller:) I guess that's what happens. Still trying to wrap my head around that . . . sorry that your hubby forgot his license. Hmm, I almost got a speeding ticket on our drive home. I saw the police car though in the median and had slowed probably just a few seconds before he pressed the button on the radar gun. I pulled over to the slower lane as I saw his police car turning around in my direction. My husband had our car insurance info. ready to go too. There was another car going my speed or faster and he had slowed too, changed lines, and was right behind me! We were both waiting to find out who it was going to be, but the cop pulled up right along side the other car and signaled for him to pull over. Yeah, super lucky. It's the last hour of the trip home when it gets crazy in the car, so I tend to have a lead foot. Sorry about Miss V's rash. Ouch?
Lauren: Ooh, a beach day! How fun!!! We didn't get to do our beach outing this time, but hopefully next visit. Hope it was a nice time and that you got your nap. Wow, July is right around the corner:)
Donna: Thanks for sharing crock pot secrets:) I'll have to try.
Jessica: Congrats on your new home! Hope you close soon.
Liz: Hope your b-day was a good one:) I know, after awhile, it's just another year.
Erin: Looks like you ALL had such a nice time in Florida. You are beaming!!!!
P/T conferences went well. My 1st grader is doing well and his teacher loves his honesty. I guess he's generally the leader of his group keeping his peers on task:) Love those leadership skills. My soon to be Kinder kiddo might need an aide. I'm told that there doesn't seem to be 1:1 available (?), so I'm just waiting for the transition meeting. This program T and I are in is going well, intense, but learning a lot. Trying to clean the house on Thursday evenings as I can, so that I can actually enjoy the weekend. I'm making things very easy for my long-term sub. All she has to do is show up and I take care of the rest.

Eeak that rash Lorena sounds like no fun...hate rashes...never kn
ow what they are from can be scary. Maddies school calls me to puck her up for the slightest red spot on her...and she's so sensitive to. At least a trip a month to the Dr for a note saying its nothin and she can return to school.
I so would never have the patience for that mass cooking either. Way to much work.

Hi! Lorena and Erin, love the pics!!!
I haven't been to the cafe in nearly a week, haven't really been on FB either.
I started weight watchers, restarted school, and have been outside all week due to this abnormally sunny and warm(80's) week. Have been trying to figure out a presentation for SYS to give to Pittsburgh's monthly MOD/M4B team meeting which is tomorrow...wait, Monday. The Pittsburgh/West Penn division is way bigger than our puny county walk, but I am extremely excited to go and talk about it.
I'll be back, the child has taken her infested diaper off, and is staring at me saying "Stinky"

Liz~ Never a dull moment huh?? Chris~ T-ball is so much fun to watch!! My nephew is playing this year (age 4) and I love watching them!!! Donna~ Hope the party goes well! I can't wait to see pics of the big event....even though I'm not a FB'er! Will that crockpot idea work with frozen strips?? Our little league did a fundraiser with 10lb. boxes of chicken strips. Those would be great for sliders! Just wondering.....you know I'm "challenged" in the cooking department. Stacy~ Glad ya'll are home safe and sound! I'm sure Elim had a good time. I hope he was feeling much better for the trip! Lauren~ Nap??! That's my girl!!! Lorena~ The pics are great!! The kids are getting so tall!!! I'm with whoever suggested to tell Miss V to slow down with her growing!!! Lindsay~ I'm glad that the meetings went well. Sounds you're on a fresh start with several things right now. I hope that all goes well with the starts (and restarts!) Our weather continues to be beautiful! Not quite as hot today which is helpful!! My day started at the tennis courts and moved to the baseball fields for another oh so entertaining t-ball game!!! Ansley went to play with a friend afterwards so I'm getting some SYS time!!! Last night I chaperoned a 3rd-5th grade dance at our school. We had SO MUCH FUN!!!! Ansley was a bit leary of going because she didn't know "how to dance", but I told her that nobody would make her dance at all. After seeing some of the wacky moves of her friends (and her mom), she decided to jump in a give it a try! She loved it!!! After 2 1/2 hours of dancing....we both went to bed and slept VERY WELL all night long! Love spending some fun time with my girl!

Tracy - That was so nice of you to chaperone the dance! I'm so glad that you gals had a good time and that your girl danced too:)
Donna - I'm glad your kiddo is excited! Speaking of summer stuff/social group, have you checked out the YMCA? When I was in San Diego, I stopped at a place called Small Talk Speech Therapy curious to know if families from out-of-town could stop in and keep up with therapies while on vaca. The receptionist told me about a program with the YMCA for kids with ASD. Maybe that could be something?
Stacy - Good to know that you got home safe. Only been to that Chicago airport once. Busy, busy, busy.
Liz - Good luck with your presentation Monday! You are one busy lady!
Urgh, laundry almost done. I'm staring at the fridge trying to figure out what to do for eats dinner. We drained our pool last night. It's been 9 years. Almost filled up. It's getting warm again here and I want to jump in, but have to wait for the chemicals to be right. The pool is the only way we make it through the summer months.

Tracy- Did you make sure all those kiddos stood a balloon's width apart Chris- Nice to see ya 'round the cafe! Donna- Sweet squeezin' a ladies lunch in... otherwise I don't know how you could have made it through that day! Got up super early this morning... went hiking... ate at a new restaurant and now am going to totally veg with the Cappuccino Cream Puff that we got to go and a book I picked up at our garage sale. Aaaaahhh.

Lorena: Aww, poor Miss V! I have pretty sensitive skin too, I've got to use free and clear detergents and unless it's bath and body works soap, scent free. I hope you enjoyed your free afternoon!
Lindsay: Yay for good parent teacher conferences, and a very informative class!
Donna: How did the party go?
Chris: Aww, t-ball! That definitely sounds exhausting!
Tracy: He's acting fine, but still has a fever averaging 100, 24 days and counting now for that, ugh. He's gnawing on his fingers but I see no signs of a tooth popping through and it seems like an awfully long time for a fever. Aww, little kids dancing, so cute!! Sounds like so much fun!
Lauren: But it is also one of the coolest airports I've been to! They had an airplane on display there, and the lights in the walkway to the gates in C along with all the art was neat! Sounds like a nice Saturday!
So we had our Zumbathon today and it was huge! We raised almost $1,400 for our team with very little work to put into it, so crazy and awesome! My muscles are sore now, I only lasted about half the time then their moves got too complicated for me. Gotta say though, the girl with a prosthetic leg was shaking it, way better than me!
Almost caught up I think...

Stacy, prosthetic leg? Go her! I'm glad your zumbathon went fantastically!
Lindsay, birthday was good thanks for asking, and glad your trip went well.
Lorena, we just went to the pediatrition on Friday due to a skin rash. He said it was some kind of virus that will run it's course in about a week and it's not contagious.
Tracy, Hooray for tennis and tball! And 3rd&5th graders, sounds fun!
Lauren, Any kind of creampuff sounds good to me. I would love the opportunity to go hiking in Hawaii....Ooooh la la, the smells, sights, and sounds ae awesome I'm sure.
Donna, how'd your party go? I saw some pics on FB, looked awesome!
Well I've been tying to get business to support teamtoriandmikey and so far I got nothin. I haven't made me personal goal yet and it seems as tho my family...husband included has given up on my team...my memories...my kids. I'm a little bummed about that. I'm doing a fundraiser at my local mall on Saturday, I've got a table for 5 hours, and enough things on my table to last me at least that long. We will see how that works, I suppose.
Weather's rainy and groggy...boo.

Liz- It can be disheartening to not make your goals... we're strugglin' this year too. Every lil' bit counts tho! I'm excited to hear how the mall thingie goes! Got to read book for about 5 minutes before goobie woke up. It was a great 5 minutes. Off to get some work done and make the most of the time that I've stuck Micah in front of a movie.

Good morning!!
Party went very well. Yay!! Cupcakes were a hit, as were the swords and shields.
Stacy - Congrats on an awesome fundraiser!!! Fabulous!!
Tracy - What a fun night! Five more wake-ups for us too.
Liz - We're struggling a bit with the fundraising this year too. But most of my friends know our poker tournament is coming up, and will wait until then. You know, only one person in my immediate family ever donates to our team? So frustrating especially because they lived it with us. You'd think they could throw ten bucks in the pot, but no.
Lauren - Five minutes is better than nothing!
Now that the birthday party is over, I need to get Easter together. We're going to be at my Dad's in AZ, and with the kids out after this week, it has to all get done by Friday. YIKERS!! BTW...little man's official birthday is today, so Happy Birthday Ethan!!
Lindsay - I'll have to check at our YMCA. Thanks for suggesting that. We're members, and our Y is fantastic. I just hadn't looked for anything there yet. Never even thought of it.

Stacy - Awesome job on the Zumbathon! Those are some impressive totals:)
Lauren - Yummy, cream puff! Hope it was delicious and got some stuff done:)
Liz - I'm sorry that folks aren't rallying around your team right now. If it helps, my husband leaves all the fundraising stuff to me and my parents don't walk at all. Our team is just the four of us. We might not make our goal this year and that's a bit disappointing, but again, it's okay. ANY funds raised are meaningful and helpful. Good luck at your event at the mall:) We're having a little garage sale next Saturday to hopefully bring in a few more bucks and get rid of some unwanted items.
Only nine more weeks of school in our parts . . . lovin that!

Lindsay- Wow, I can't believe school is winding down already! Tracy- I'm joinin' ya next week for Spring Break... faculty are just as stoked as students! Though I foresee myself working through some of it.... booo. Ok seriously, why bring your kids to the park if all you're going to do is yell at them "Stop running! You'll be on time out." Isn't the park where you WANT your kids to run?! It was the craziest request because of course the kids got put on time out like 4 times (at least she was consistent!)... because kids can't NOT run at park.. it's in their DNA. Rant over.

Starting to work on our poker tournament. It's on Cinco de Mayo this year, so of course, going with the theme. I'm panicking already though, and we have almost six weeks to pull it together. SCARED! The plan is to put together a new video, but since when Ryley was born, digital cameras were super new, most of his pictures are from 35mm and I have to individually scan them, or take the time to find the negatives and take those to the camera shop to have them put on a disc.

Morning...Afternoon ladies,
When I think April, I think, April showers bring May flowers!!
4 months in, can't back out now!!
Tori hasn't had a bottle in 22 days. She hasn't taken a nap in 22 days. Her hair looks like a dang cockatoo today. I've finally broken down to make her an appointment at CHP for Gastroenterology. Just another big FAIL in the book of motherhood, for me.
Tracy, Yikes!!! on the lice.
Lindsay, I wish I took advantage of the daycare at the Y more often.
Donna, I've definately had coffee in the afternoon before. Embrace the Poker Tournament, don't be scared!!
Stacy, how was the trip? How's Elim feeling? Haircut!? Such a big boy!!
Lauren, boo on the wind. I'm still jealous...it's 40 degree's out. How it goes from 85down to 40 in under a week amazes me.

Michael and I were just commenting last night how a quarter of the year is almost gone already. Our "Winter" is about to start. Honestly, April, May and June are typically our ugliest, coldest, foggiest months.
Lauren - Boo hiss on no beach.
I now the poker tournament will come together. I don't know why I'm feeling so much pressure. This is our seventh year. You'd think I'd have it so don't I wouldn't stress at all. But we've had a rough few years with it, and I really want to come out swinging this year. Brain was going full force last night and I think I have a good idea for our new video. Fingers crossed!

Liz~ I laughed out loud (and I'm all by myself) at the cockatoo comment!! Only because my own hair looks like that in the mornings!! One day down....3 more to go and then I'm going to enjoy my time off!!! (Be prepared....I'm sure it'll be rainy and cold the whole week off, but at least I don't have to get my tail outta bed!!!) You girls have been chatty.... Tracy: Why you should chaperone 3rd and 5th graders ??? As I recall boys usually avoid girls at this age.... lice, I read it last night and I dreamt about it.... how awful..... hope you get rid of it..... Lindsay: So you are preparing for the hot months..... great to have a pool..... Every night I wonder what to do for dinner, since I cook lunch and dinner..... I wish my family would just grab a sandwich but food is a real issue.... Stacy: Congratulations on your fundraising activity, seems like you are moving.... Donna: You never stop! Happy Belated Birthday to Ethan, hope he enjoyed it so much... Cinco de Mayo, mexican food, wooh that is wonderful idea, seems like CA is similar, May, June and July are rainy foggy months here...... Liz: don't give up..... I am sure you are going to do it this Sunday at the mall KAtie: Go girl, seems like you are enjoying the gym, and great you have a great tan.... that tan room must be great! Lauren: Hiking ??? in my mind is like climbing from ropes and pulling yourself up with the stones..... I laughed about your comment of the mother and the park..... probably the habit of telling the kids to stop running around, probably a thing I would do...... So what book you picked up at the garage sale??? and that new restaurant, I imagine it of Hawaian food??? Nothing here, just working with S HW, last Friday I had 6 kids at my home, I didn't know they were invited until a mom called me that Friday morning to thank me to "invite the kids over"..... I don't know these crazy parents, so eager to someone else take they kids, I would have never left S go to another house if the other mom did not call me first..... well they were here to work for a class project, and as usual I ended sitting the kids working with them, doing the posters and looking for information, but they had a great time (I did, listening to their talk and watching S with his peers) and I was exhausted. We had a very busy WE, social appointments (baby shower, lunch, a party at night big hotel) and Sunday I had some friends over for lunch and BBQ..... yesterday I was so tired I went to bed at 8 pm...... We finally moved out miss V crib, now she is a big girl in a big girl's bed and she totally loved it.... in fact these past few days she went alone to bed ..... and she repeats constantly how much she loves her new bed......I have to confess I dropped some tears, thinking there are no babies in my house, and there will not be, I feel my house like an empty nest...... Well, I go now, to prepare dinner...... Good night everyone Lorena

Oy vey Lorena- 6 kids?! Egads! That sounds like a zoo. Congrats to Miss V! I can't believe how fast she's growing up! The hiking was WAY more mild... just a lil' gander through a lil' forest. The book is The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, it's about a woman whose cells were taken after she passed away without her consent and they were the first to regenerate and have been instrumental in almost all human science since, including the Polio Vaccine. It's ridiculously interesting. I can't wait to read more of it!

Lauren - I'm actually giggling that you have the dentist and cervical check on the same day. Double-whammy!!! Jelly beans - YUM! I have that book on my stack. Have heard such good things about it. Trying to forge my way through Les Miserables at the moment.
Liz - cockatoo hair - lol
Tracy - Rainy and cold is fine since you don't *have* to go anywhere. I like Hoppy Easter Cafe. Cute.
Lorena - How did you end up with all those kids at your house? Congratulations to Miss V on the move to the big girl bed.
Video is done. I think I need a couple of tweaks this morning. Is 9.5 minutes too long? Grrrrrrrrrr

Hope every one is doing well. I really need to be getting ready to go to a meeting, but the house is quite (girls are at dance) and its the first chance I have had to sit down at the computer in a couple of days. Thought you ladies could appreciate my story from this morning....
I was running behind as usual and trying to get the kids out the door and in the truck (I drive a four door truck). I layed my phone on the edge of the bed as I put Alivia in and buckled her and then left it there as I got in and drove out the drive way. Needless to say I happened to see it fly off in my mirror as I was driving down the road and realized what I had done. I live on a very busy state highway. Somehow I managed to find all five pieces of it that were scattered in the side ditch and put it back together. Apparently it was my lucky day cause it still works (knock on wood), with the exception of a little road rash

Lauren: HAHA!! Do we have a woohoo yet?
Chris: Wow! That's some luck for sure! I'm impressed that it's still in working order, lol!

Chris: You wouldn't be saying that if you saw my laundry mountain this weekend! It was out of control! In my defense, I was gone for the entire week before!
Lauren: So tell me, what kinda looks did ya get walking into Victoria's secret with your baby belly?
Jessica: Ugh, being sick by itself is miserable, let alone not being able to take anything for it! Hugs! I hope you feel better soon!
Liz: Adorable!!
So we went to music class today at gymboree, kinda useless as Elim just wanted to go bang on the glass doors where he could see the big kids were. He'd much rather be hanging out with them! Then went to target, and left Elim's mac 'n cheese there!! So no mac 'n cheese for lunch, I had to scrounge around. Of course, it's the one that's way far away so I'm not going back today. She said I could pick it up tomorrow though, so I'm gonna go to music class for older kids tomorrow so it's not a totally wasted trip.

Liz - Feeling that pain today too.
Somehow got through 40 minutes on the elliptical, a March for Babies meeting, Costco, Target, and the unload. So tired. I hate PMS. Takes everything out of me, leaving only mean, yelling, b***chy mommy behind. Thankful we're going out to dinner tonight (epilepsy fundraiser a friend is holding). I'm toast.

Hey all,
Jess--sorry you aren't feeling well. See you tomorrow at Zumba!!!!!
Donna--your days sound like mine. I fell like I am always running and it just does not stop
Stacy-- booo for the mac n cheese. I never did music together but did gymboree and LOVED it but that was with Emily about 7 plus years ago.
Well I miss you all, always busy and these days I am not sleeping that much. Matthew is waking up about 3 or more times a night crying that he wants to play. I tell him it is sleepy time and he says in his crying voice "ok mommy, night night. " I mean it is soooo cute but mommy needs sleep lol. Everyone getting ready for the holidays. Passover and easter are around the corner. I have sooo mucgh to do to get ready for passover and my kids are soooo excited since they are learning about the holiday at school. They cant wait to go to my cousins to celebrate.
Welll hope everyone has a good night!!!!

Donna: Wow! Busy woman! No idea if I could get that all done in one day myself!
Geri: Aww, poor Matthew (and you!)! I hope he figures out the whole night time equals sleepy time not playtime.
Looks like I'm going back to Target tonight! Found out my apple corer/slicer thing from pampered chef is in fact very sharp even though it feels dull. Said goodbye to a bit of my thumb slicing up a pear for Elim! Silly kiddo wouldn't even eat the pears after all that! Anyway, I need some more bandaids so might as well get the mac 'n cheese back tonight.

We are getting ready for Easter. I am in countdown mode...taking the kids to my parents' in Phoenix next Wednesday. Yahoo!!! They tell you it gets easier as your kids get older. It doesn't...it just gets different busy. So while I'm doing a lot of running around, it's not much different busy-wise than dealing with toddlers.

Donna - I know your poker tournament is going to be a hit and I'm sure your video is going to rock!
Jess - Hope your appt. went well:)
Geri - One of my kiddos wakes up frequently during the night too. It's gotten a bit better. Haven't tried the 1 mg melatonin suggestion just yet.
Stacy - Glad that it went well. Sometimes those places can be so scary for them.
Lorena - Oh, big girl bed! That's a big milestone. Are you okay? What's happening to the crib?
Tracy/Katie - Happy Spring Breaks to you!
Chris - I put money in the green Easter eggs. My older son loves it and can't wait to find the "green" ones this year. We're making that a li'l tradition. I'm laughing because he's 6 and this week at school, he checked out a book on money!
Got something nasty on Wednesday. I was in bed the whole day and I saw my lunch and dinner from the previous day. Yuck! It was horrible. I got to thinking . . . I'm sure that I've thrown up more in my late 20s and early 30s than I ever did as an infant! Better now and sticking with "real" food for awhile. It's making a huge difference.
Happy Friday!

Donna~ I'm super jealous of 2 weeks of Spring Break! I know where to come apply for a job if I don't get a contract here! Lauren~ That comment about not seeing your underwear is hilarious!!! Lorena~ They need chaperones for 3rd-5th graders to keep them from mowing each other down and pushing and shoving!!! That age group gets excited and get rowdy!! Katie and all the Stomach but girls~ I hope you're all feeling much better now! I can't remember anything else except that someone was looking for that darn cleaning fairy again..... Lauren-I hope that you had so much fun on the cruise!
Tracy-Happy Spring Break!

Lauren - Ooooooooohhhhhhh...enjoy the fancy hotel day!
Stacy - Elim is such a little ham. Too cute.
Day two of Spring Break and four of the five of us are sick. So not happy. On top of that, it's cold, windy, and keeps "misting" off and on. We did get out to see Hunger Games yesterday. Loved it. And Ryley's team won their baseball game too. Yippee!! Mother of the year - ran out of both boys' ADHD meds. Makes for interesting days. First time in the 3 1/2 years since Ryley's diagnosis that's happened. Grrrrrrrr

I have missed so much. I thought being on sabbatical meant less craziness but all it means is no schedule so more variety and less regiment, which I don't like.
Jess- Is everything ok?
Donna- I hope the kids are feeling better.
My MfB team is so slow this year and you guys are doing great. We switched sites b/c we are going to England for six weeks for work and our normal one is in June. I guess I'll have to be one of those people raising money after... How was the poker tournament?
Had Abigail's birthday party at our house Sat. 10- 7-year old girls and a my little pony pinata. they were so happy. I am not sure who got more stuff her American Girl Doll or her.
I am glad everyone is enjoying their Spring Breaks. How are all of the pregnant moms doing? Ready for the Easter Bunny? Have a great day.

Hey everyone!
Ellen, hahah about the american girl doll. England? What's in England? I volunteered for the Family tent in Pittsburgh as my walk is in Beaver. I thought, Yay!! I'll see Ellen and Erin!! Bah.
Donna, so sorry about the kids and running out of meds.
Lauren, cruise? Oooh lalaaaa!
I'm not sure who else said what except something about the cleaing fairy, and that woman needs to come here!
Tori had a sleepover last night and a bonus was to hang out with Mermie and Pap all day! Gym! Cleaning!! Day for me!!
M4B's fundraiser was a bust. The more I think about it was a bust. Whatev...blogged about it. Got rid of Tori's nutritionist...blogged about it. Fantastic Easter egg hunt after church yesterday...totally cool.

Lauren: Wow go on that fancy hotel..... Tracy: I know kids need to be watch out, I was just teasing you.... glad you have more time for your naps..... an a haircut Katie: Glad you are feeling human again.... hope you are better to enjoy your spring break days.... Congratulations for Alex and Landen... I want to watch that movie Hunger Games too.. Donna: ooh so bad that in your house are sick, so you are the only healthy one??? And so bad for the weather, that is nasty, bad weather and sickness in your vacation time.... I forget all the time S ADHD medicine, on my defense, I have to take Drs. prescription to a horrible gov place to get signed, I feel like a junky with a prescription really there is no parking, and I left all my belongings I feel like I will get rob.....I want to watch that movie and read the books..... Stacy: Poor dear Elim hope his nursery church scare will pass soon.... Lindsay: ugh stomach bug is awful..... hope you are better now.... the crib belongs to my sister.... she gave me a good advice, why spent so much money in something that you will not know where to put it in your house??? so she borrowed hers to me.... and I returned it back..... so I don't have to look for a space for it in my house.... Jessica: what news are you going to tell??? Ellen: Happy Birthday Abby, I truly hope she had a great day, sounds like she did, I met Sandy, the past Saturday, thanks for your hello..... That American Doll, I have seen many girls here with that, I am suffering knowing V will want that one.... to tell the truth I don't like it..... Liz: Already a egg hunt at the church??? Sorry about the fundraiser..... James: thanks for the link, I watched the video, to tell the truth I don't know ho he is, but it is great all the money he donated and that he is working to help .... he should tell his story of his preemie kids.... Well we are in the Holy Week vacation..... Poor miss V is bored to be home, though we hardly have been in, Saturday we went to my sister's house, and Sunday we went for lunch and see the religious processions which are a huge and magnificent thing to watch here, we waited like 2 hours in the street but the kids had a blast for all the street vendors and even helped to make a street flower carpet..... It was our first time, and even S told me next year he wants to carry the procession, which is a huge (140 carriers on each side).... Tomorrow I plan to take the kids to the Children's museum, and Wednesday we will go to the beach, to my sister's house...... I have a terrible neck pain, I know it is muscular thing, but even when I swallow it hurts.... I can't turn my head around..... So happy Spring Break & Easter to everyone..... Lorena

Tracy- I am sure you are the favorite aunt and the tickets will just be the topper.
Wow- Katie and Tracy so productive on Day 1 of Spring Break. Congratulations.
Lorena- The procession looks beautiful. Is S really big enough to join in?
It was back to school here. The first day was "great". It is nice to be back on schedule. Although she was fighting the tutor announcement this morning...we shall see. Back to work.
Have a great day

Ugh Ellen....back to work doesn't even sound pleasant! When I go back to work it's steady review for the state standardized testing! UGH!!!!!! I'm seriously hating those things. Today's productive activity is hair cuts and cleaning the house. Yeah.....never found that darn fairy!

Fly by hi... literally flying by. Poppin' over to Oahu... again. This probably isn't the place to complain about having to make so many trips over there...

Complain away.....we love it that you're "getting" to go AGAIN!!!! Okay, so day 2 wasn't as productive, but this was one of the days to just relax!! A haircut this morning and lunch with my sister. Oh.....and a nap this afternoon. Who knows....my productiveness might kick in before bedtime....

James/Jessica - That's wonderful news! I haven't tuned into The Apprentice for a few seasons. Yay, Dee! He's from Twisted Sister, right? I'm starting to get my 80s bands confused.
Lauren - Hope it's a pleasant flight for you. Do tell if you have anymore celebrity sightings:) Good luck and uneventful appt!
Lorena - Yeah, it was weird although I woke up with a migraine, so it's hard to know if it was food poisoning or the headache that did me in. Don't really want to check my BPs right now. I'm sure they're high - lots going on. What a beautiful procession and statue carving! Yeah, I'd have plastic over that too being from 1700s. Cool! Hmm, maybe Miss V will fall in love with something other than the American Girl Doll.
Tracy - Sounds like you're having a good Spring Break so far. Aaah, naps . . .
Katie - Hoorah for getting errands done:) Enjoy your Break:)
Usual Tuesday for us. Had SARRC earlier and just got back from dropping of Mr. T at his "second school." Picking up my 1st grader at 3:00. Thirty more precious minutes of ALONE time to myself:)

Lindsay-Any alone time is great, even if it's only 30 minutes!!!
Tracy-I wasn't productive today either, I took the kids to the spray park. Alex had to be home, the doctor would not let her go back today and I let Landen stay home with me!
Lauren-I hope your flight goes well, complain away!
Great day today, got some sun, maybe I won't scare people away thinking I am a ghost now! Off to Alex's t-ball game!!!
