Mississippi Moms

Hello, My name is Jessica Walters and I have a baby that was born nine weeks early... he is home now and doing well! When he was born on April 21, 2005 he was placed on a vent and sent to another hospital. I didn't get to see him for 3 days... that was so hard! I wouldn't take pain meds at the hospital in hopes they would let me out sooner! No luck! But all of that is behind us now, everything has been looking good so far at all of Cade's check-ups. I am looking for a support group of Mississippi Moms, I am a new mother and especially with a preemie it is hard and I have tons of questions!!! Someone help me! haha

Hi Jessica,
Congratulations on the arrival of Cade. I'm so happy to hear that he's doing well. I bet you're very proud!

I don't live in Mississippi ( I had to sing the song to spell that..LOL), but would love to help you in any way possible. I'm the mother of 4, with premature twin girls (25 weeks) in the middle. There are many supportive, helpful, compassionate PoPs here that will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.

Hi jessica! I am from Mississippi and I also had a child that was premature. Holton weighed 3 pounds and 4 ounces. He spent 6 weeks in NICU. I would love to find a support group. Where are you from?

To the SHARE families on the Mississippi coast:

I pray that your families and friends have been spared. All around the country, your state, as well as Alabama and Lousiana, are clutched in prayer and concern.

People can not find enough ways to outpour their compassion. Far away in states and countries all over the world, we hold our breath and shake our heads in disbelief about the images we are seeing on the TV screen. Never has the US seen such a thing in it's own yard.

Please feel free to come and SHARE your needs. Ask and you shall receive. I pray that the displacement, the loss, the devastation can be replaced, rebuilt and reinvested to make your state a home-sweet-home once again.

Hello!

Hello Ladies..
My name is Brandi & I am a mother to a beautiful baby boy, Princeton-Joseph. PJ was born at 36 weeks however wasnt a premature baby. I have been a supporter to the March of Dimes for awhile since PJ was a difficult baby to carry & I was in the hospital many times.
I actully have made a private group especially for moms of all ages for the state of Mississippi & I would love to extend an invite to everyone here!

Hi!

I do not actually live in Mississippi any more but in Arkansas! Since there have been no replies from other mommies out there in AR I thought I would come leave a message at my good old homestates page. Amazingly enough the girl above (Brandi) and I used to be in pageants together and traveled alot together. I havent spoken to her in years since I moved but now am trying to get back in touch with her! Thanks Share! Oh, my son is now almost 6 months old and doing wonderfully!
