Lorena, I hope the sickies go away at your house soon. Let V sleep, she probably needs it!
Tracy, Classroom sounds awesome! So glad Ansley had fun bowling. There free bowling at the local bowling alley. They put the bumpers up and we try and get T our every week. She loves it!
Katie, Auctions are fun! We've picked up a few things at auctions of things left at houses- The families just want to get rid of the stuff. Someone else's trash is another's treasure, I suppose.
Taking T to Kennywood tomorrow. It's a pretty big amusement park with rides, water rides, eats, games....50% chance of rain. Which then means it will be so hot and humid. Blah. However, Tori is tall enough to ride everything in kiddie land now and some big rides through out the park. I'm excited for her!
The gym calls.

Lorena-I am happy to hear that Miss V is feeling better! Your kids are great sleepers, I have trouble getting mine to bed!
Tracy-I have been ignoring the call this summer, I guess it's back to the gym in a couple of weeks, when I get back in routine.
Liz-I hope you have fun tomorrow! We love auctions, sometimes just for the people watching!
If they made napping an Olympic sport, I'd for sure have the gold! I do think it would be a close call between Tracy and me!

Tracy-I wish we had a trampoline. It would be fun.
Katie-People watching is my favorite past time. I have to wear movie star sun glasses to hide my true intent of sitting on a park bench. I've been told more than 5 times, I talk with my facial expressions...it's hard sometimes to hold back.
Lorena, Wii night sounds fun! Pizza parties are even funner!!!
Anyone need some zucchini? We have an over abundance. Need tomato's? How about broccolli? Our garden is bursting! My green beans are so good...-drool- I scrubbed down my whole kitchen and steam cleaned Tori's playroom, did 4 loads of laundry. All this talk of naps...I need a nap.
Church tonight, fun in the sun tomorrow.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Oh most certainly will join that sport Katie!!!! I just woke up from mine today! I was just going to comment that if Lorena gets worried when her kids sleep during the day, she'd panic around me!!! Sometimes I worry about myself!! Ansley and I have been total bums today!!! I love it when there is no agenda, but feel like I've waisted a day when I do like I've done today....

Lorena - I hope that everyone is well. Glad that S had a nice time. Love it when you have that trusted parent friend who takes good care of your kiddo:)
Tracy - Our school colors are red and black. I'm so into lime green right now. Lots of that going on at our house. I know, lots of swimming, onto other events. Those guys sure do look good though:)
Liz - Love you girl! Kennywood. Is that like Dollywood? Sounds fun:)
Okay girls (and James), I have some news. I'm not expecting a baby, but I am expecting a foreign exchange student! Yes, she arrived just a few hours ago and so far, so good. I'm sure every system is on overload. It's been such a crazy week with Mr. T's birthday (OMG he's 5), meeting teachers, and accepting a super part-time teaching contract. Never a dull moment I tell you. Too funny, it was the kids' first time to the airport. Mr. T loves baggage claim. Who knew?! He was laughing as the bags came up and dropped. It was too funny! He has a sweet laugh. Okay, nighty night. SCHOOL on Monday . . . Glad I didn't throw out all of those papers. Now I need some of them:)

Lindsay~ How fun!!! That's going to be so fun. Where is your student from? How long will he/she be staying with you?
--Congrats on the new job! Lorena~ Glad everyone in your family is feeling better and hope you have fun with friends. Ansley was very helpful yesterday in cleaning her room. In doing so, she put away all of her clothes. That's great except for the fact that her drawers were full of clothes that I need to pack up because they don't fit, so now the drawers are STUFFED and she resorted to finding shopping bags to put them in and put them in her closet..... I love her. Guess that means I need to get off my tail and get busy on cleaning out her drawers now......

Alright, my limit for memory is about 10ish messages so we'll start there.
Liz: You sound like a better housekeeper than me. I'm awful proud that my carpet has been vacuumed this week!
Lindsay: Aww, that's so exciting! How old is your exchange student and where from?
Lorena: The books are definitely better than the movie!
Tracy: Haha!! Totally sounds like something I would do. Elim's closet is in dire need of sorting through. Maybe someday.....
When Elim goes down he goes down in style. Trip to urgent care this morning (thank goodness I knew of a pediatric one!) and he's got a sinus infection, pink eye, and a diaper rash that looks like possibly staph. Poor guy! So we've got eye drops, antibiotics, saline nose spray, neosporin and back onto zyrtec.

Stacy-Poor baby, I hope that he feels better soon.

Tracy-I just did the great clean out of the kids' rooms! 7 bags donated!!!!
Liz-You can send those veggies down here, we love fresh garden veggies!
I am gearing up for back to work next week, but more importantly, I am gearing up for my big groupie trip to see the New Kids on the Block, Backstreet Boys, 98 Degrees and others!!!! We are leaving the 15th-19th, I have never been gone from the kids that long! The girl that sings "Call Me Maybe" will be there also, love that song!

Lindsay, <3 Awesome on the exchange student, and the job!!
Lorena, homade pizza = yum! I still have not seen the hunger games. I hear it is good.
Tracy, I just did Tori's drawers and closet. We are at the bare minimums.
Laura, feel better!
Stacy, Elim, Elim, Elim...Sweet boy, feel better.
Katie, OOOoooooh!!! Carley Rae Jepson(I believe is the spelling) Callme maybe is one of my fave workout tunes....Love it. I'll pass on NKOTB/BSB. Have fun and be safe!
Kennywood is similar to Dollywood.
Kennywood was a huge bust. They DO NOT close kennywood. Heck, it was even open when it got hit by a tornado a few years back. It rained all morning...not like pidder padder rain, I mean like terrential downpour rain. Stopped raining around 1'ish, then an announcement comes over the loud speakers that the park will be closing at 4pm. When the 2nd round of storms are to be moving in. If I didn't have a kid, I would not have been there. Miserable soaking wet, cold, hands and feet pruned....HOWEVER, T had so much fun!! She rode everything in Kiddieland! Rode some big people rides too. She jumped in so many puddles, was in her own little water world.

Gonna have to spend some serious time catching up... but that time is not now.. I actually think I'm motivated to organize something. Can't let the feeling pass!

Happy Monday (Moanday?) everyone!! Sorry I was MIA the past four or five days. Recital plus a soccer tournament for the Princess meant we were basically home to sleep for four days straight. Seriously tired. Tracy and Katie - send some of that napping ability my way please?
Liz - cutie-cute pictures!! Super ugh on the GI stuff.
Lauren - Four weeks old? Nuh-uh. Are you willing to share some of that motivation?
Jess - We will miss you soooooo much, but you have the most awesome reason for missing SU this year.
Sorry - brain fry. I forget the rest of the 50 posts I read.

Liz~ Sorry for the rain, but cutie pie pics are always great!! Stacy~ Poor little guy!!! He really gets his money's worth when he goes to the dr.!! Donna~ Glad to see you back! I hate to ask what the boys' schedules look like if Grace is that busy! Sending sleeping vibes your way!! Katie~ I like that song too! It's been fun watching the videos that the olympic swimmers have come up with to that song. My stomach is in knots thinking of all that I have to do before the students return to school.....and I'm not even officially back yet!!! I think it's because there's a new principal, new co-workers and new grade level all at the same time. Overwelmed is a good word for it!

Katie: Totally jealous!! Love me some backstreet boys!
Liz: Aww, she looks totally drenched but like she's having the time of her life!
Lauren: My motivation must be spreading. My house is almost clean, first time in forever. Can't come home to a dirty house though after my trip so it's gotta get done.
Tracy: What's the countdown to kids back at school now?
Elim's eyes look 90% better, not red and puffy anymore and no more gunk in them! Zyrtec has taken care of the runny nose too. I'm gonna call target pharmacy tomorrow though and find out if it was the doctor's error or their error that caused them to put the wrong length of time for the meds. They said 10 days but meant 14, thankfully I have 10 cc more than I need for the full length so I'm pretty sure it's their error.
So remember all that dental work that I was supposed to go in for? It's postponed till after my trip. Their office flooded, we're talking ripping out the walls type of flooding. Hoping my teeth don't start hurting between now and next month!

Lauren, the rain coat is OshKosh, I'm sure you can find one in a girl's size. =) Thanks on the pic's....I don't photo nicely.
Lindsay, Kinder called? Uh-oh.
Tracey, deep breath! One thing at a time. I know you will do fine!
Stacy, Have I ever told you, I'd rather poke my eyes with pencils than go to the dentist. I'm terrified! I have a check up on the 22nd.
Ok, so one of Tori's early intervention girls is going on vacation and can't come on her regular day. She was supposed to be here at 8:30am, today. Tuesday, right? I have to be somewhere at 10, which entails leaving around 9:30. It is now 8:45. Miss L is her OT so she works with her eating, chewing, swallowing, so we also hold off on breakfast when we know Miss L is coming. ....I'm going to call her....bbl

It made the views from the flight that much more beautiful! At one point I could see 4 islands in one view- breathtaking! No more pity party for myself- Thank you!
Liz- Ooooh of course Osh Kosh- loved 'em as a kid- still love 'em now! Too bad it doesn't really rain at my house... ever. Hope the OT is ok!

Wow, so behind again... The kids and I are visiting my parents while my sister is in town. I have to say I forgot how having little kids keeps you so busy! My neice is 3 and VERY independent and my nephew is 1 and you can't take your eyes off him. Cute as can be, but neither is a cuddler which is kind of sad for their aunt (me) who never sees them much. I was allowed to nap with my neice but had to sleep at the foot of the bed, because Matt decided he wanted to nap with her too.
It's amazing what a different kid Matt is when there are little kids around. He likes nothing better than being able to help care for them. He's so good with his cousins and things that would usually set him off he just shrugs off. It's totally opposite with my older nephews (on the other side of the family) - they fight tooth and nail all day long! This has been so refreshing. Liz - Don't feel bad about having your posts edited. We do it alot. Mostly it's language but sometimes it's more for the safety of your own kids (like posting pictures that you might not want online years from now, or contact information). Those of us who are regulars here sometimes forget that it's a public site. If it makes you feel better, I posted a massive rant one day only to get a note from James that said "ummmm, did you really mean to say all that on a public website?!?". And I took it down because I knew he was right. Lindsay - enjoy the exchange student. My neighbors always house camp counslers from England over the summer, and their kids LOVE it! Good luck to all of you headed back to school. We still have 4 weeks until it starts but I need to start clothes shoppping. We still don't even know who Kimmie's teacher will be. Matt's teacher is looping and I am super excited about that - she's wonderful!

Stacy~ The countdown for me is 2 days, for the kids is 7 days.....so trying not to bite my nails!!! Lauren~ Glad the hopping helped the funk a bit!! Yay for you on getting the house clean too!!! You're on a roll! I'd be so sad for the extra hands leaving too. Liz~ Hope the therapist gets there in time. Lindsay~ Fun!! I'm glad that the boys had a great first day of school and hope that the teacher's call wasn't too much....just an update. Jackie~ I won't get my class list until sometime after we start back to work. We never find out early.... I wish we could so I could psych Ansley up for her teacher ahead of time. Tibbles usually gets a redneck grooming (from me), but today I had him groomed professionally. He is SO HANDSOME!!! I think he might get that grooming again. The greatest thing is that they come to my house and do all grooming in the driveway inside of their little tow behind trailer!! No traveling for me!

Liz - I'm sorry one of T's people was running late. Poor gal, probably hungry. I so appreciate when my therapy people do call to tell me that they are running late. Even if it's like 10-15 minutes. I mean, 15 minutes can totally throw off a schedule. I get it. I hope she arrived and that you got to where you needed to be.
Lauren - I hope that you got some amazing views. So fun to see the ocean from up above. I got to do one of those helicopter rides back in the day (Maui/Hawaii not sure which island). Neat!
Sorry Oma is heading home. You guys are pros:)
Tracy - I know, the countdown to school is crazy. I hope you are getting more things off of your list(s). I keep going back to the store and buying more glue sticks. I guess one can never have enough right?
Stacy - Hope little Elim is feeling better. Poor guy. Pink eye, not fun.
Jackie - That's cool that the family time is going well and that Matt is taking an interest. Cool that your neighbors host British folk:)
Phone call from teacher wasn't too long. She is documenting her rear off and was asking for ideas. She has to show interventions and things in order to have more reason for the aide. It's going to be weeks/months before this happens. I volunteered for a few hours this morning and it is absolutely heartbreaking to watch. My Mr. T needs a 1:1 aide NOW:(

Jackie - Yay or family time. You really have four weeks until school starts? I am so jealous. Tracy - 2 days???!!! bummed for you. You have reason to feel overwhelmed. Praying it all goes smoothly for you. You're an amazing teacher. HUGS! Lauren - Good luck!!! I'll happily fly out there to help you out. Stacy - Glad Elim is doing a little better. Poor baby. I'd call the pharmacy too. Good golly. Liz - Poor T. Did the therapist ever show up? Massive heat wave here this week, just in time for another soccer tournament this weekend. Supposed to be 96 Saturday, and we have a 10:20 and 4pm game. With Grace's tendency to overheat, I'm a little panicked. Boys' schedule is actually pretty calm. Ryley *just* has soccer practice m/w, an hour before Grace's practice starts at the same location. We still don't have a team assignment for Ethan. I'm getting ready to put my Momma Bear on.....the rec commissioner is Grace's old competitive coach (the one who was fired after last season). She knows Ethan's diagnosis, and is still mad at us for staying on the team and I have a bad feeling.

We're going on 5 years without TV We rock the Netflix and Hulu at night though. Tracy- You? Redneck? The two words don't go hand in hand. Oma dropped at the airport... everyone napping.. Donna~ There definately needs to be a phone call to help with that issue. E. needs to know his team too!! Lauren~ I missed my nap today.....maybe I can nap with your crew. The time zone differences might work out!! Jess~ Woohoo for communication with the outside world. I have seen the advertisements for "Honey Boo Boo" or whatever she calls herself. I'm sure they're from somewhere in GA..... These little Chinese gymnists are the cutest girls!!! I'm sure they wouldn't appreciate me calling them "little", but they're just adorable!
