Izabella Magdalena

jennyramos - 03:46pm Jun 20, 2012 EST

Izabella was born May 29th, 2011, she weighed 1lb 6ounces. She passed away June 9th, 2011. Miss her so much. Words cannot describe the many different feelings i have. But here is what happened.
I went in to the ER because my feet where extremly swollen, and as i sat there waiting, i was laughing and saying that it was a waste of time that swollen feet were normal when your pregnant. Oh i was so wrong, it turned out that i had severe hypertensia...my blood pressure was 199/105, the ER doctor said i would have to be transferred to UAMS in LR, that i could not wait any longer. My world was turned upside down!
As i arrived in LR the doctors said that they would monitor me to see if they could bring my blood pressure down....well it did'nt work. After 2 days of waiting and monitoring, they decided to do a C-Section. My Izabella was born, but with lots of complications. She had blood in her brain, her stomach was turning black and she had trouble breething. She was so tiny and fragile! I was not able to hold her. For days the doctors tried everything they could and somedays they would give me hopes but other days they tried to prepare me for the worst. finally on the 9th day she started to get seizures and was transferred to Childrens Hospital. After many tests the doctors said that their was nothing more they could do.....and that i had to make a decision.............
I only got hold my Bella for a couple of hours , she only opened one eye as if to acknowledge that she knew we did everything possible to keep her here with us.............
I miss my little girl and would have hoped that God allowed her to stay with us, but only he knows why and i cannot argue. I only hope that someday i will see her in heaven.....
LOVE YOU MY BEAUTIFUL IZABELLA......

Mom to Donovyn (32 weeker), Tristyn (34 weeker), and Naethyn (30 weeker born sleeping)

Welcome to SHARE. I am deeply sorry for the loss of your precious baby girl Izabella. You've been living without your angel for over a year now and you've been so strong. I'm an angel mom too and there are still so many difficult days. I hope that you are finding some peace in the short time that you were able to spend together. That li'l wink she gave you could surely have been a sign that she felt your love and knew her mommy well.

Wishing you strength on this journey,

Lindsay

I am so sorry for your loss of your sweet Izabella. I know too well the horrible pain of losing a child, I also lost a little girl. My daughter Randi was born at 26 weeks and lived for 3 days. After almost 4 years, I still miss her everyday, but the pain has become easier to deal with over time. I hope you are finding some peace in sharing Izabella's story.
Thinking of you,
Marissa

Welcome to Share I am so sorry for your loss, I lost my daughter 5 years ago due to a combination of Growth restriction and High blood pressure. Sounds like you did everything you could for her and know she is looking down on you. I found SHARE shortly after saying goodbye to my daughter and the love, comfort, and support I have found here is amazing, I hope you find the same. Know you are not alone.

Hello and welcome to share. I am so sorry for the loss of your precious Isabella. I am also an angel mom who lost my son at 30 wks. I wish no one knew the heart ache of infant loss, almost two and half years later I still think of my son every day but the acute feeling of sadness has passed ( most days). I really try and focus on the short time I had with him and the gifts that he left me.
Wishing you peace and strength as you navigate this new journey
Brooke
